- Check out this factory tour video of the FMF racing warehouse in Los Angeles California. Donny Emler Jr. takes us on a behind the scenes journey through the 90,000 square foot manufacturing and production facility that is home to FMF racing to show how the product goes from raw materials to bolt on power.
I just want to say that your dad's picture in the 80's - 90's magazines always put a smile on my face, the pipes did too! Always in plain clothes and to me, that meant that he was all business... always in the shop thriving!
FMF pipe is always the most exciting piece of hardware you get to bolt onto your bike.
Glad to see that nothing has changed and he's still working in his plain clothes with no time for a suit... 👍

I bought an exhaust for my Honda CRF 250 M. Header + muffler, super product, really nice noise and a big difference of power ! Thank you FMF for what you're doing. My next bikes will all have an FMF exhaust ;)

FMF 4 stroke spark arrestors are designed. Could never keep one from disengaging itself from the silencer and blowing out on the trail somewhere. Then when you try to buy a replacement no one in their distribution channels knows what goes with what. Lot of misinformation about parts and after three with the same issue I finally learned.

Nothing wrong with a bigger core except it will make more noise. Have to draw the line somewhere, especially if you ride or race somewhere with limits. You can quiet a loud pipe back down with inserts, but they will cost you more on power than getting an exhaust designed to be quiet would.

have you watched a sx/mx lately? smokers are a thing of the past Just because people cant afford a 4 stroke rebuild and switch back to a two stroke doesnt mean that are better or coming back.
Sadly it's true. Many 2 stroke riders have switched to 4 strokes and don't want to go back.

State of the art....still using old presses, jigs, and hand welding? Lol. Now don;t get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that it's made in America, and it's still primarily hand made, but I wouldn't call it state of the art manufacturing.

Im glad he recognized his dad was the one who built that company and didn't try to take credit for anything. Just shows he is modest and realistic about where he came from. So many kids in this world ride their parents coat tails and claim to be self made. FMF looks to be a large mom and pop shop from this video without the fancy corporate stuff. But yes, he is definitely not a professional narrator.

So what don't you understand these bikes are still competive. And there are a lot of people our there still riding these bikes.
2t bikes are faster plus there lighter and hard hitting power is why KTM is still developing there 2 strokes why buy 250f it will get smoked by a 2t with the same cc rating plus it's cheaper more HP per cc aswel what's not to like about a real MX bike 2 stroke dominated in the MX field in the old days plus 4t is killing the fun out of of the sport plus the smell unless your running race fuel it has sweet smell of nitro

to bad no one can make a four stroke silencer that dose not self destruct .....fmf is way longer lasting than pro circuit though... its half the manufacturers fault for only putting one bolt to hold the thing on ...but using rivets to hold the bracket on dose not work .....make the bracket wrap around the whole silencer ...and titanium needs to be welded in a tank with no oxygen..... not just some tig welder with a shielding gas cup trailing behind

First and last time buying anything FMF. Very disappointed that your quality control seems to be non-existent. 500.00+ on an exhaust system only to be provided with bolts that are too short and a cheap metal sleeve. I made a huge mistake.

+dragondaze Little kid, it was the bolt! Revzilla had to contact FMF on my behalf and the company shipped the correct bolt to me overnight. There is even an install video on YT and the guy runs into the same issue.
