The two main motifs in this song come from Showtime and Liquid Negrocity, both of which are 2 minutes and 11 seconds long, adding up to this song which is roughly twice the length. John's Showtime motif expands melodically, reflecting his growth physically, mentally, and emotionally, while Jack's motif stays relatively static, reflecting his "classic" bad guy arc.
If you think about it, as John didn’t take any damage himself, that means he technically won the fight. That makes him the only player to get into a fight with Jack and win.
