Reminder: Liquid bleach has a shelf life of only +/- 1 year. It turns back into water. Instead, find powdered Calcium Hypochlorite. It is a powdered form of bleach that goes a long way and has an indefinite shelf life. Research for more details. Take care!
Another great video. My tip of the day: If you buy a new propane BBQ grill, don't scrap the old one. Plant flowers in it and if SHTF happens and you can't get propane, dump the flowers and use the old one as a charcoal or wood cooking source.
Garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores are also a good place to pickup various tools. They are generally older and better quality than what is sold new now
I agree, refilling propane tanks is better, however, if you have a tank that is out of date or damaged in some way (leaky valve, rusted, etc. minor damage) you can exchange it for a newer tank for the cost of the gas. If you take it to the refill station, they will probably confiscate it from you because it is "unsafe." The exchanges inspect, repair, and recertify the tanks so they can continue to be used. If the tanks are too far gone, they dispose of the tank for scrap value. This service is included in their higher prices, and they make out ahead in the long run because they get a larger pool of tanks to use. I think they also collect the confiscated tanks from the refill stations as well. I believe propane tanks are considered hazardous waste so this really is the easiest way to properly handle them because they are setup to do so.
Brother! Keep doing what your doing. Ive been watching prepper videos for about 2 years. Yours is the first Chanel that is making me take more action than usual. 😎👍 especially that tractor supply propane tip. Thanks
Another good place for 'toilet paper' is office supply stores. They carry a LOT of sundries you might use in a office, which can be used in the home or camping.
One type of store that I haven't heard too many peppers talk about are restaurant supply stores like urm cash and carry and us foods chef's store you can get a massive amount of food at wholesale prices at these stores like 50 lb bag of rice for 17 bucks and they got all sorts of food like flour, beans, rice, lentils, split peas, instant mashed potatoes and spices all sorts of stuff In massive quantities. I find it a lot cheaper to get food bulk then places like Costco
With regards to propane, I've found the best price is Costco, they fill it and charge you by weight. Here in Canada it only cost between 8-14$ to fill an empty tank. The price changes similar to gasoline but most other places charge a flat rate to fill them between 20-30$ or more.
When I was an Auto tech I had a legit Snapon impact socket for lug nuts specifically. I had to warrantee that thing 4 times in 2 years. I've yet to break a harbor freight socket.
I just found your channel but I'm devouring your vids in record time lol. I'm in Canada East so a lot of the recommemded stores are not available, but the tips and ideas are universal! Thanks for putting the time in brother.
So 1st time finding your videos and I gotta say, out of all the preppers I follow, you’re definitely top 2. Really down to earth and truthful info. Plus, I’m from Houston, TX so automatic win there 😉 LOL! Keep up the great work sir 👊
Hi im not new to prepping and I have been watching you and I do thank that you are sending a good message i hope my words don't fall on deaf ears I have alot of ideas that I would like to share please let me no that someone out there got this message
Comercial Grocery stores (like US Foods Chef Store) also carry the good, quantity cleaning supplies, 5 gal peanut oil, butcher paper and plastic wrap, huge canned goods, huge containers of spices, etc.
Last year when tp came back to the Denver area, I would buy the largest package at each King Soopers (Kroger) and Target till I had half a closet full. I nearly ran out back 2020. Never again!
In the midwest we have Farm & Fleet which is similar to Tractor Supply but about ten times larger in size. We also have Menards which is a competitor to Home Depot but a bit cheaper in price. Problem is for power tools Menards mostly carries store brand and no DeWalt or Milwaukee like Home Depot does.
I guess I'm lucky...I have a Farm & Fleet, Tractor Supply AND a Rural King within about an hour of me...also...A Menards, Home Depot, AND a Lowes...btw...I live in BFE, so an hour drive is about the norm to get anywhere...
@@chuck_howard All of these stores are in different directions from me...To a bigger town SW for Rural King and Farm & Fleet...Bigger town NW for Menards...Bigger town N for Tractor Supply...I think I live just outside of the edge of the service area for all these places...
I love your channel and nobody here think you're a full, or they better not hahha. My hubby is American and really handy manly type, but Im the one who order supplies while he checks the politics. We're in canada east coast. Thing or not as bad yet, but were preparing. I'm work from home, and his gas is with the company he works for, so it helps, no children but we want have one. Im allready ordering baby stuff that I buy from friends who needed to make money and sell it, got 20 washable diapers as a gift, and ordering food bug out bags stuff etc. Trudeau wannna suddenly banned gun permit, we were about to start the process with the classe we have to take in order to be legal with a gun. We still gonna do it this summer. Little trick for the food guys, where we leave is a metropolitan city, so I buy my dry food in multiethnic stores ( carribean, indian, asian etc) I got 10 kg of dry bean for 20$ , and 5 kg of pastas for 15$, I made the math and would be double in regular store. Dont know if its better then costco, but I think so. If I buy 10kg of dry bean 6x, I can feed me, my hubby and my father in law for a year. Approximately, made the math counting by portions. Lets keep up the good work guys, and lift eachother up around the world, cause were all in this together. And my surrounding doenst get it sadly. Its the equivalence of emergency found, when you need it, youre happy you put it away years ago :)
We don't have freight harbor, dollar tree or the other stores here. Target is expensive, Walmart prices are going up here and just about every other grocery store is so high in prices here. Although I've prepped a good amount already, I'm at a years worth food storage and got the other preps too. Sam's and Costco's is good for bulk. Sucks to be in the middle of the Pacific Ocean 😕
Yeah we say that every January and February in Michigan and Wisconsin. Thank god we don't live the middle of the ocean right about now as we pull start our snowblowers at 5 AM.
Rural king is a good place to shop their like tractor supply walmart power tools are cheap and are fairly decent they may not be good in a business where their constantly used but for individuals that use them occasionally u can't beat them
Lylibu, I’m in North Carolina and I go to my local Tractor Supply in Clemmons at least once a month. My Tractor Supply is very woman-friendly to me, and I see other women of all ages shopping there. Women are also employees at my local Tractor Supply. Tractor Supply carries a wide variety of reasonably priced items.

I like how you are upfront about ads and such. And the Hank Hill voice is funny!

Thank you for your informational series. I never get tired of listening to them.
You really have skills and talent when you do these videos! I’m impressed!!!
Thank you Brian!
Another place for tools in particular, pawn shops, have gotten lots of great used tools there...
Bass Pro Shops, Home Depot, Target, Family Dollar, Best Buy and small ma and pa neighborhood shops are physical stores I go to for my prepping needs.

Do a search for Rural King in your area. Great resource and they have guns and ammo as well. Also live stock and supplies if you're going that route.

Are the tractor Supply stores women-friendly?
