Live in Michigan but once a year or so we pop down to Kidron Ohio and go to Lehman's Amish non electric Hardware. A huge hardware store catering to the Amish and prepper types. Everything from hand mills for grinding grain to the grain itself. Also lamps and lanterns including spare globes and wicks. Then Wood stoves, propane freezers, water well supplies, and anything else a homestead would need. You can look em up on the net or order a catalog from them. They can be a bit pricey but they do ship to other states. Well worth a day trip just to check it out and they have a cafeteria right on site.
Lehman's is awesome, I live just about 3 hours from there and visit a couple times a year. I am lucky enough to live in an area where we have Rural King as well, probably my favorite store!
Exactly! Pinball Preparedness is another one that is constantly making his prepping posts political and apocalyptic. While he did have some good prepping info, I just couldn't stand to listen to him anymore. I started following others like DIY that stay on topic. Thank you DIY!

It is March 24th, 2022, and I just came across this video. I have never been to a tractor supply store before, but my daughter and I had planned on going there this afternoon. After watching this video, we will definitely be going.
Up here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes (and those salty cheese heads at our toe) we have a regional chain called Fleet Farm that is like an Atwoods/Tractor Supply hybrid. The stores do very their inventory to cater to the local areas needs, some will have much better sporting goods selections while others have more of the farming and home food processing options.
Here in Idaho we have a store called North 40, which in other parts of the rural west is called Big R. I think it sounds a lot like Atwoods, and has everything from animal feed to ammo and both basic work clothes and more high end what we refer to as cowboy fashion clothes. Lots of canning supplies, fishing gear, and live chicks during the spring.
I love rural king! I first heard about it from John at Prepper nation. I’ve never been in one until I bought my house a couple months ago and WOW! I love that store. TSC is awesome but rural king is definitely more well rounded in terms of prepping. I tend to go to a combination of different stores for all of my needs but that is the most well rounded
I was in Colorado a month ago and went to Murdoch's with my son. They had single shot 410 shotguns on sale for only $99, he got me one for Christmas. (I've wanted one for about 40 years) I had checked with my local Atwoods and 410's couldn't even be ordered. I was impressed by that store although the clothes and boots were uber expensive! We are blessed to have both TSC and Atwoods here in NE Oklahoma and Orshlens.
Love the cap! My hometown is the home of Come And Take It! Gonzales Texas! Looks like we're going to have a repeat. Off the subject a bit, I recently found out my great grandmother was born in Texas which means her mother was here obviously. She told my cousin that her desendant was a Conquistador. Pretty cool knowing my Texas heritage goes that far back. Great information, glad I found you.
In Idaho and Eastern Oregon we have D & B stores. Depending on the individual store there maybe a good firearms selection as well as tools, clothing, trailer repair and other assorted hardware and animal containment, veterinary supplies and the list goes on. BiMart also has an assortment of tools and hardware, clothing hunting and fishing gear, ammunition, canning supplies, pet foods and household meds and home repair st And of course Tractor Supply. Nearly every small town in the rural Western America that I have been in has at least one store that has most of what a prepper needs or wants.
Here in NW, in addition to a fairly new here store that you mentioned in the very good video: Tractor Supply! Here, there are a few different types of “Farm & Ranch” supply. Coastal Supply and Wilco Farm & Ranch. We also have a very similar type of Adventure store: Fisherman’s Supply - they also have a “Dehydrator”. Very Cool.
I don't know if you ever worked around an office. but a lot of time they will just have a water cooler with the jugs on them. I saw your small water containers a cheaper storage jug for water is the jugs for the coolers. I got mine at Wal-mart. for six dollar a jug. and you can get them filled for about forty cents a gallow. Six dollar is cheaper than the water barrels that you have at At-Woods.
These are weirdly absent around Houston! I’ve never heard of them before, but now thanks to your video, I’ll be checking out the nearest one next time we need to drive north. Much appreciated.
Agri Supply stores in central North Carolina. Imagine a Tractor Supply the size of a Super WalMart, plus a couple of acres of farm supplies and tractor attachments out back.
Great video. Unfortunately for me here in California. The nearest Atwoods I know is in Kansas taking 80 EB then to 70. C-A-L Ranch is closer by Carson, NV. But at least I have Tractor Supply Store just 20 minutes away. Looking forward to your future videos.
Watched the video of the lady going under cover to CVS and asking what's in the jabs, he tear off the long label and opens it up and it is blank. He admitted he didn't know what he was injecting in people bodies, and said he shouldn't be doing that, but was doing what he was told! How sad.

Thanks. One just opened in town. Now I have TSC and Atwoods.
Same here. It is definitely nice to have both.
Illinois has a store called farm and fleet, it's just like the Rural King like they have here in Kentucky
I do love me some *CAL Ranch*
Great pepper store.
Thanks for commenting! I’ll have to visit one if I’m ever out west.

the water barrels are thick-walled nylon (most likely), not plastic. I use old water cooler containers at my cabin, though. they work.
AWSOME… thanks a ton for sharing. Each one teach one and we can make it.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video. Thank you. Lots of great and useful information. Don't have that store near me, though, or Tractor Supply either.
Thanks for watching and commenting!

Atwoods sounds like they have the same kind of stuff Rural King has Rural King even sells tractors.
Sounds like a cool store. I’ll have to check it out if I ever come across one.
As always Thanks J R ! Keep them coming Brother ! And I have to say this " Go Dawgs ... National Champs ! " Whew ok I feel better now ! Lol ! 🤣
Thanks Mark! Lol
We have a similar store in the Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota area called Runnings.
Nice! Thanks!
This place sounds awesome. I got to see if there’s one around me.
It’s pretty cool. I just wish it wasn’t on the other side of town. It’s a bit of a drive. Your name is awesome by the way!

That sounds awesome. Thanks John!
I've seen them around places, but I've never been in one. I think the closest one to me is around 20 miles. I guess it's time for a road trip.
It is definitely worth a look inside. Thanks for watching!

Thanks John. Tractor Supply is where I usually go. Atwood’s is a little further away but not nearly as far as you have to drive.
We have Family Farm and Home here in SE Michigan. Great place to find what we’re looking for.
That’s awesome!
Shoot, my nearest Atwoods is 499 miles away in Oklahoma. Bummer.
Cool video thanks.
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a nice store with a little bit of everything.
That’s the best kind of store!
@@diypreppertv definitely. Wish there was one closer to me
Looks like a Runnings which is what we have in here in NH.

Anyone know of a place like this near Pittsburgh, Pa??
Watched the video of the lady going under cover to CVS and asking what's in the jabs, he tear off the long label and opens it up and it is blank. He admitted he didn't know what he was injecting in people bodies, and said he shouldn't be doing that, but was doing what he was told! How sad.
I saw the video card and immediately thought atwoods
Well, I’m glad it wasn’t misleading! Lol
we dont have any of them we do have tractor supply though
Still a good store, just not as big.
Rural king. If they don't have it you don't need it
You might want to find out if these places have any classes or seminars. You have to learn skills.
