That's a great introduction of a different way to wrap the banh xeo.
I used to pick strawberries in the Northwest of US for summer spending money and it's back breaking work. So when I went to VN and saw the farmers tending their rice fields under the intensely hot sun and the oppressive humid air, I was so in awe. But what shocked me is when they look up and see me looking at them, they burst into bright smiles, I don't understand how they can be so positive !!!

O that's so good to here!🥰 Someone sent me some photos and like always the Vietnamese are very efficient and cleaning up 😯 A lot of very old beautiful trees came down which is sad but they were chain sawed and fire wood the next day! Thoughts with the people that had a very bad time. Thank you so much for letting us know! Enjoy your stay!!!🥰🥰🥰
They are not regular coconuts , but water coconuts ( Dua Nuoc ) that grow in the mud underneath the water . The locals use them to make candies or sweet drinks . The Banh Xeo did not look crispy but still yummy .
