I really appreciate your story. Im from south Carolina. And my southern family was not having any of that. My mom took me to church and embraced the hell out of me. We have 30 minute testimony time. And my mom stood up and told everyone my business. And then put me out the house . I will never forget that. We are cool now. And i promise myself support my 13 year old son if he ever tells me he is gay.
Yeah parents never really know, my mom said the whole "Oh I kinda knew" yadda yadda lol. Then, said maybe you're not what you said you are I said what gay??? I knew I was gay since I was 12 😂. Most moms are supportive though, so shout out to them.
This video has made me respect you differently and more positively since your separation from your ex. Stay positive. You seem to have tremendous potential in many areas. Keep THRIVING and STRIVING!
Young Meek mad props to you. I was wondered what happened to you bro. People don't understand coming out in different cultures can be deathly. Right here in the US there are so many youths thrown away out on the streets bcuz of their sexuality. In 2020!!! That's crazy. I'm older 40s came out in the mid 80s in NYC. It was wild BUT its crazy that certain things never change. Anyway I hope n pray you hold onto your strength and island pride. PS you are a sexxy young bul
I like it when u talked about having sugar in your tank. For real, all dudes, str8 or not, have some sugar in they tank, mostly because we have half our mother and half our father's genes. Depending on the society or culture you live, you can somewhat freely express both BEHAVIORALLY, or only one thats preferred by the culture ( for example, in western society and those nations influenced by it, if you are VISIBLY male, your ass BETTER act masculine or else.) Anyway, I like to say im 30 per cent sugar and 70 percent gunpowder (it took me a while to admit that to myself, no lie). This one of the best coming out vids bruh. And i love them sexy, full lips...
To you my beautiful king 👑 I appreciate your honesty and courage.I see you it takes a real person to embrace ones truth. I let people into my world 🌎 when I was 16 I was confronted by my mother. My mother and father told me they knew and was just waiting for me to tell them all stories are different when coming out. I’m now 42 yrs old and my father just passed away but he became my advocate and wanted me to live my life. My mother is super cool with my coming out but I’m gay not bisexual so I know your journey is different but I want you to know it’s gets better with time. I thank you for sharing 💯💜❤️🌎👑🙏🏿💯💯💯💯💯✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 Always Remember you are Enough and a light in this 🌎.
So happy you decided to live your life for you. Everyone should live their authentic life. Being upset with someone because of their sexuality is like being a diabetic while furious at your neighbor for eating cake. It is the ultimate form of lunacy. Hope that the lunacy veil is lifted for all those that matter to you.
Welcome back, from one island boy to another. Missed you so much. Do you as you are the person that matters Yes have some respect for your parents and ex but no one but you can make you happy. Hang in here and you will be good. You have a good head on your shoulder and you will be good.
Meeeek it’s so good watching your video . Missed you and your videos . Thanks for sharing your story meek it very inspirational and a life lesson video . Thank you so much . Your biggest Fan Sa’miyah 💙
I can see what your mum meant when she said she knew. It's hard to explain but there's just something about you and trust me, parents can always tell...well...the attentive ones at least.
It’s the reason why I’m afraid of coming out, I’m bisexual I love both men and women, I just wanna live a normal life but I’m so afraid of being prejudice and making fun of by people who absolutely don’t understand what I went through the moment I discovered that I’m bisexual
I follow you on BIGO 💙 You should make a vid talking about your personal experience w/ BIGO, how it’s affected you positively + negatively and bring your YT audience over there too. That’d be fab.
thanks for sharing your story, you are so right to be true to yourself and authentic not hiding your life as I had too. I love your brothers response, it melts my heart. I hope your parents have come round by now. Best wishes to you from an older guy from another time and place x
Honestly when I heard the first coming out story and u had touched on u getting put out ur parents out. I knew it was something about that first video. I still remember that blue hair. Yeah I came from the couples channel. But honestly some parents do Kno because my mom always use to ask me when I was younger are u gay do u like boys. But now she don’t ask but she know. I kept it to myself because I just never knew how my oldest brother would react. But he Kno too they just don’t speak on it. I’ll played around on it and I never got a bad reaction about it but everybody went to calling my ma said did u see what yo son posted r yo son posted this. She didn’t say nothing but she always told me no matter gay r straight I’ll always love my kids.
You been through a lot, but feels like you are master of your own ship now and able to live your full real life. Wish you well. I think you are well cute but sadly I was 50 years too early
IT'S SO SAD THAT MOST PARENTS DO THIS, WHICH I THINK IS SELFISH AF ......just for their own satisfaction! I feel like mostly EVERY GAY person experienced these types of comments: (1) *"IS this the life you want to live?"* , (2) *"This is just a PHASE"* , (3) *"You should just keep dating men (gay) or woman (les)"* , and the one that baffles me that MOST is (4 ) *"THIS IS A CHOICE"* like wtf! *Why would I choose to be gay on purpose and go through this, make it make sense! GaY is a sexuality not a choice >> Get OveR IT* !!! I enjoyed your story bro!
Mique, I haven't followed you since you and Ryan broke up. You guys actually had everything to do with my decision to come out, even in my 50s. But I'm glad to catch up. I, too, moved to Atlanta. Thank you for the encouraging videos. I'm glad you are happy. I will continue to follow your progress.
Yes you are adorable young man🙂. But remember being young and gay is just the beginning of the journey. Five years from now that sparkle may not be there. Then think of how you may feel. I try to all young gay blk guys the best wisdom I know from personal experience. Notice young people have a tendency to only live for the moment. Far as your friend (exposed/outed ) who did that to you. That is no friend you could have been hurt or killed. Not to mention the emotional damage that doesn't show. From a older Gay blk male (me). I am from NY
Hey Meek, it's good to see you back. Glad you tell your side and your truth to coming out as well. My question for you is do you talk to your parents and your siblings still? You are so fine too. Would you ever date a trans oerson?
Interesting story many people are afraid to come out for various reasons but I think at some point we all have to grow and be our true selves or we'll never truly live I came out last year and yes it was hell with my family and church but I had to get through it but I feel much better now that I don't have to be DL no more I could be myself
Every parent take the truth of their child sexuality differently some take it hard and some is understanding I’m happy your able to be comfortable within yourself
Im sorry things didn't go down well with your dad man ... so sad 😔 but thanks for posting and sharing this man. Pity things didn't work out for you and Ryan but it is what it is and the best thing one can do is learn and grow from their experiences. All the best Meek! 😉
YALL !!!! if a guy is dL keep him close but don’t have sex with him, don’t give yourself fully to him, let him know it’s okay to not only be gay but to also to “just be yourself”. Know your strength fellas. Your stronger than you know out and DL
My heart goes out to you bro. I am from the islands too so i do know what patents there can be like. Do stay strong and keep on doing youn. Much love from N.Y
we and l will all ways have your back what you did will help others not commit suicide them self and come out and make them very strong like you or a role model to others to be them self and now they really coming out hey hey it's great what you doing
I just have a strong feelings you and ryan getting bk together we miss yall fr fr bro we love you and in his last q and a he said he miss you and dont mind meeting up with you
They both made videos addressing the break up , you can check their old videos...don't think they need to tell more of what happened as some things need to remain private
So hard to have to listen to these sad parts! I wish that your parents were not so hard on you and would have allowed you to stay at home. Hearing that is really tough man!
The struggles of being a Jamaican bro...felt like you just told my story. Continue being an inspiration bro.

thanks for sharing meek! i love ya bro....period.
once you said your parents are from the islands i knew what was coming 😭
Parents talk about consequences and then they are the main consequences. That's bullshit.
Most fathers take it differently that others some can be easy to talk to and some can make you feel unloved
