Snow leopard was my first Mac OS (on Hackintosh). Idk if it's just a nostalgia but it seemed magical for me, it had a lot of character design wise. And the wallpaper... New design is great but kind of "sterile".
(Update I was given a 2007 Mac book pro core 2 duo) but the SuperDrive makes a horrible clicking noise and has no battery but is really cool I am going to install windows vista on it soon
I have one of these, but I have Lion on one partition, and Mojave (I patched it) on the other, and I think I had/have Linux on the third, smaller one. It still works pretty decent, but I maxed it out at 16GB RAM and 500GB SSD.
warm and fuzzy memories
Ain’t they just.. 😎

I fully agree with you, the new stuff is so flat and soul-less!

Yeah they’re really cool.
They’re one of the lower cost macs these days, but definitely not a cheap hobby!! 💀😭
Ahhh the nostalgia!!!

Nice!
Oh damn, I had no idea you could get 16GB RAM into these. How does Mojave run?
@@QuinsTechCorner It takes a moment to boot up, but it runs alright.
@@JimBobSr Nice! Glad to hear it's going well for you.
If i told you im still using one that‘s even older as my daily driver… would you believe me?
Absolutely, and I'm really happy to hear it. 🙂
What machine are you dailying?
A 2009! Poly! Love that thing.@@QuinsTechCorner
Sounds great, glad you're keeping it alive! @@EvexiansVideoworks
@@QuinsTechCorner Oho. That thing WORKS for it‘s money! Both Windows and Mac OS work perfectly! I can even still use garageband!
Burn it ftw
Can it run Linux (Mint 21.3)?
It absolutely can!
BUT I wouldn’t say very fast, it’s a super old machine with a weak CPU and GPU.
@@QuinsTechCorner What flavor did you try: Cinnamon, MATE, or Xfce?
@@emirvmendoza Xfce.
It ran, but it was definitely too much of an ask for this machine.
@@QuinsTechCorner Thank you very much
