I just watched Wonka, I gotta say Hugh Grant is a gem that should be protected. I've been listening to his "Oompa Loompa" songs for like 10 times in the past few days. Definitely one of the best soundtrack of the year, Hugh's singing is amazing. The Oompa Loompa I never knew I needed the most 🙌
@@starrrrrrvActually, he was unfamiliar with the whole CGI motion capture thing which was the main reason why he was uncomfortable with the process. Just like Ian McKellen loving Gandalf but hated his experience working on The Hobbit due to green screens surrounding him
I always loved him. His exquisite English humour and his amazing talent when performing, it's incredible. His roll in The Gentlemen and many others are spot on. 👌 ❤
I agree! Hugh Grant’s performances in “The Gentlemen” and Paddington 2 were brilliant! So glad he is no longer stuck in romantic comedies - even though I enjoyed them. Now he is able to explore new facets.
Paddington 2 has millions of reasons for being one of the greatest movies of all time, Hugh Grant's performance in that movie was definitely one of them. I will never forget how funny he was during the prison musical sequence in the mid credit scene and it was that moment where i think Paul King was a good choice in making a musical Willy Wonka movie
Hugh grant in Paddington 2 was definitely gay in that movie. The Craig revel Horwood choreographed dance scene at the end of the was definitely grants character in the movie coming out moment. He was brilliant in though. Very camp. The older Hugh grant gets the darker the roles. Paul King is a cinema control freak as is Hugh grant. Paul King really annoyed Hugh bonneville to the point that he is doing a third one without that director on boards
I will never forget when I was 10 years old and saw Hugh on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno almost 30 years ago…I’ll just say he’s A LOT more comfortable here than he was then…IYKYK 😅
And he wasn't really THAT comfortable here either. I get the feeling that he's NEVER comfortable being interviewed but he just puts up with it because they pay him good money to do it.
Wonka book was my favorite book as a child i love that its the story before the orignal book cant wait to see it hope it does the book justice Hugh is a marvelous oompah lumpa. Hope it becomes a wonderful classic kids movie.

You could be the only person who likes jimmy fallon. We used to the tonight show on cnbc Europe followed by conan o brien on late night. But I guess fallon is not everyone's cup of tea.
Wow, I can’t believe I never knew until today how hilarious Hugh Grant is. What a refreshing presence amid so much Hollywood BS. His response to Timothy’s question is the funniest thing I’ve ever witnessed on Fallon’s program… which, uh, SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONAN’S!!! Gaaaawwww
That movie has held up in distribution wrangle. I think it might have had something to do with the fact that it was drug movie set in a major UK university. That movie the gentleman came and went

I love dry humour and I love to see Jimmy Fallon ask Hugh Grant about his "christmas spirit". In Europe we do it but we really don't care we don't have the candid american spirit but it is ok.
This audience didn't catch Hugh's dry wit at all. So on point. Been loving him in all his newest projects.
STRAY KIDS IS THE KING OF KPOP
Unfortunately, the captions don't understand him either... SIGH. 😌😕
I thought it was hilarious. Unfortunately not many Americans understand our wit.
He is hilarious ❤
Jimmy didn't counter his wit here, so it was lost on an expectant audience..
Hugh Grant being an Oompa Loompa and a BLACKPINK fan were not in my 2023 bingo card but I’d gladly take it
same
😂
😂😂😂😂😂
I love how Hugh Grant's catchphrase is always "Don't Be Absurd".
It's impossible not to fall in love with Hugh Grant's ironic charm... he's simply an icon! 😊
seriously tho! what a man
He's a master of sarcasm! A very, very clever men and a wonderful actor! Love him! ❤

Gosh, American audiences don't get this man's iconic humor! The audience in the Graham Norton Show get it and they are always in splits!
I cannot get enough of Hugh's sense of humour!!❤
Timothee chalamet cameo was unexpected but Hilarious 😂.
Well not so much after this comment… 😂

Just saw the movie with my family.had such a great time. The world really needs these kind of family entertainers.
I feel like Timothee and Hugh probably crack each other up nonstop on the set.
I love Hugh grant so much have loved his work throughout the years and his humour not everyone gets but I love it so much 😂
Hugh Grant was hilarious in that clip! I would never have pictured him as an Oompa Loompa but he was perfect!!! 😂😂
Hugh is a gem
Absolutely LOVED Hugh in this role, now that I've seen the movie. Really well played!
I love Hugh Grant! so effortlessly funny !!

The only way I can endure The tonight show with Hugh Grant on it. Coz everything is pleasant when it involves Hugh.
Incredible wonka interview jimmy! hugh is an international treasure love him 😂❤.
He was great in The Gentlemen, it just shows with good directors how the best of actors can be brought out.

I love it when he says “pervert” 😂
It's the poshest "pervert" Ive ever heard
He is so witty and also hot ,the perfect British gentleman
0:55 When Hugh said : Up to a point. It reminds me of Graham Norton show where he mnetioned about his love for the cat
The best thing is the actual audience not quite upstanding if Hugh was serious or not. Cant beat a bit of British sarcasm 😂😂
Notting Hill, Bridget Jones's Diary, and Love Actually are three of my favorite romance movies.
Sometimes I think Fallon's laugh isn't genuine at all, or he just tried his best to go along with his guests.
Right, although I think he does it to make his guests feel at ease. Letterman was better at it
If anyone is considering another Grumpy Old Men, I think Hugh Grant would be a natural ;)😍
Should be Hughs Grant and Laurie together for that one
Awesome interview with Hugh Grant!!! It’s cool he is a fan of Black Pink!!! ❤️😎
Ofcourse who wouldn't enjoy a Blackpink concert😊 Hugh Grant, welcome to the Blinks community😊
