I actually finished a run of Sun Quest yesterday using both reroll-breaking and duping - I got 7 stacks of Stainless Armor, then duped them (while also getting rid of Gas Fire that I accidentally picked up). I was actually super lucky in this run because in Fungal Caverns I discovered a LC recipe, which turned out to be blood+oil+ambrosia, and there was a broken flask of Ambrosia there. I immediately risked shifting a bottle of LC, and it replaced oil, so I had an easy heal with Oil Trail and Oil Cloud spells.
@@DunkOrSlam I wish I found the duping trick before, as in this run I already started prepping for reroll-breaking before this exploit got revealed. So I guess that the full dupe-only run is still up for grabs :P

6:14:38 the reason the number is "too round" is floating point precision, the way numbers are stored in the computer doesn't allow the lower digits to be represented.
damn i really wanted to watch this live after seeing the previous video explaining how duping works. unfortunately for us human dunk only streams at goblin hours suited for swamp people and europeans (yuck) great video as always!
Guess I'm a bit late, but anyways. There are several recipes of getting silver. Gold + Chaotic poly, Diamond + Chaotic poly. Brass + copper + water. Usually the most reliable way of getting clean silver is by having a nice pool of Chaotic poly and pouring gold or diamond in it really slow to ensure that every pixel will be separate and will be converted. Then you may collect silver from the bottom, or burn chaotic poly with evil eye. Actually I was screaming in the screen when you missed on the evil eye from the chest at 3:30:53 that can evaporate any liquid from safe distance but grabbed almost useless firestone later that can reliably evaporate only water and don't work even on blood)
Vis a vis the healing "damage" discussion at around 20 minutes in: Off the top of my head there are two kinds of healing in the game files, one is a damage type that applies to the appropriate spells (that works the way Dunk seemed to be indicating) but there is also a "material" type that applies to... I can't remember exactly, but something pixel based like Healium/Healthium. The latter damage type is actually standard material damage (e.g. cursed rock damage, freezing vapor damage, etc) but just negative. If you overflowed projectile damage though, it may just start over at 0, especially if it's an unsigned integer in the files. I'd have to check if anyone cares, but I can test and see what happens. I haven't made it to the end of the video yet though. Maybe we find out later haha
Quick note: Drinking a poly flask while having Iron Stomach won't transform you but instead will make you inmune to poly temporarily, keep this in mind when trying to dupe perks.
Maybe the solution to the Eye Glyphs is to chaotic polymorph yourself 80x until you get stuck as a certain creature. Maybe if you get yourself permanently polymorphed into the right creature it'll reveal a secret message.
Probably nothing... But after Fury's video on new eye-glyph info... I only just now noticed that the big world walls you bump into, in parallel worlds (like the one at 4:15:24) look a little like the few pictures Fury showed of real-world "eye patterns" from Electrical Engineering documentaion. Or at least magnetic patterns that could be influenced by electrical engineering. I only say something, because Dunk repeatedly has said, that even people who don't know much can chime in, because you never know when something someone mentions, might spark off the actual answer.
A few days ago I was using a save backup to test Personal Fireball Thrower on the Alchemist, and it was consistently taking a long time to kill it, like it did for you in this video. Off the top of my head, I think I did around 10 trials. I'm convinced it's not as consistent or powerful as I've been led to believe. Easily my least favorite way to kill that boss, and I probably will avoid using that method entirely from now on. I did try the wiki's recommended Piercing Shot and Prickly Spore Pod combo, and not only did it work reasonably well, but it became an insanely powerful weapon for all of New Game with homing added to it, able to easily one shot the Alchemist boss as well (unlike the combo without homing added, which the wiki claims can already one shot the boss, despite that it clearly could not; it was worthwhile, at least). Edit: I should mention, Personal Fireball Thrower isn't just a poor choice for killing the Alchemist, it's a nefarious spell in general. Every few shots, it will fire one that is guaranteed to be aimed at the player, and the speed of the projectile seems to scale with the distance between the affected target and the player, so you'll regularly end up with shots that "randomly" snipe you from across long distances, moving at speeds that give you no time to react, and it will consistently happen every few seconds. It's extremely abusive design, like Vermintide 2 struggling its hardest to get away with spawning enemies right behind the player, but with a sloppy algorithm for hiding what it's doing that often times results in enemies being spawned directly in front of the player, giving away the game's malicious intent. PFT makes no effort to hide the game's malicious intent. A game about experimentation and discovery shouldn't be so antagonistic.
I did a god run thanks to that discovery video, i could not die cause i stacked 64 stainless armor and had infinite hp. I wanted to do the sun quest but i unfortunatly entered ng+ and my game just did not want to go ng+28. Edit: infinite gold too of course
3:39:37 This would be *detrimental* since you would only be duping your currently equipped perks. You get more when you dupe one at a time since you pick up more each dupe.
my most favorite way to play magic the gathering is usually tokens, and the Utvara Hellkite is hilarious good at that. its ability is whenever a dragon you contorl attacks you create a 6/6 red dragon token with flying. so even if its JUST utvara attacking if they are left unattended by the opposing player will slowly grow to annoyingly un-beatable numbers. (relevant cuz dunk mentioned how duping will multiply quickly every time he does it even if he started with just 1 ghost)
With 32 greed, a single pixel of gold gets doubled 32 times, making it worth 4.294 billion A small nugget of gold would be worth 42.9 billion, and so on Once you have 64 greed, one pixel would be worth 18 quintillion If you have 128 greed, one pixel would be worth 3.4E38, which is also the maximum value of a floating point number in computer code, and solidly in the realm where numbers are so big it's difficult to find a practical use for them. If you had 3.4E38 dollars, you could buy everything in the world a billion times over and you would still have 3.4E38 dollars.
you could cut your poly flask with blood + whisky to extend it more and get much more than 10 dupes per flask. ~ 29 if the math works out that it is consumed at the same rate coming out of the flask as with spraying.
