Nice one, mate. Love the tidy way you store your tackle - the sign of a very prepared and organised fisho. Another tips video might be useful around explaining the retrieves you like to use in the shallow to mid range softbaiting etc. Eg. you mentioned you use a fairly fast retrieve in 3m (using 1oz, so presumably to stop snagging up almost immediately), whereas other people often mention takes "on the drop" and use very light jigheads in the shallows. Paddle tail lures work differently in terms of action to jerk shads, so again, given you are a fan of paddlerz I'd love to hear your take on that side of things. Really enjoy your channel.
Excellent vid thanks, will have to go home and see what mismatch i have. I have not had much luck with softbait and to honest end up throwing bait out in the end. I like the sound of a mess free yak and long for the day i can leave the bait at home. Thanks again for a simple explanation.
There should be some letters on the blank that will give you a clue. If it’s a 6-10kg rod and has the letters MH it’s a medium heavy action rod and can handle heavier lures than a 6-10kg blank with an M on it. Hopefully that helps 👍

Thanks mate.👌
Great video Laurie. Too many people out there are using incorrect setups. Especially with jigheads selection etc.
You would see that a lot in the tackle trade 😂
It's like you've done this before
great video thanks.
Awsome tips lozza
How should I match my jig weight with my depth?
What if your rod doesn’t say the casting weight?
