When people want an example for videogames being Art, this is it. Sometimes I just load this game up and ride around for a bit. I have the multiplayer modded to be a private lobby, so it's just me and the scenery.
I am a firm believer that video games are a superior form of media but there is such a stigma from most people that it never seems to get the respect from non-gamers. I have a video coming out eventually that touches a bit on that topic as it related to characters in video games and how amazing they can be!
@@NokayYT It's not just that. Back In My Day(tm) we were not only promised flying cars, but also that movies will be so advanced that you could CHOOSE YOUR OWN ENDING. Well, guess what (;
I think the intro is a great pacesetter and is a sort of measure for whether or not you’ll really enjoy the rest of the game. Also the Pinkertons are a real thing so idk what name you wanted them to have.
I most agree with that, but probably could've dropped a mission or 2 in my opinion. And the Pinkertons thing was a joke in general. It just seems like a word that doesnt match what they do in real life to me
@@NokayYT fair. The hunting missing with Charles drags a little but at the same time it makes sense that the gang needs something to eat. It might have fit better in early chapter 2 since you can’t even craft anything with the parts you collect until then anyway.
Ahh I’m actually replaying this atm! Never cried so hard in a game before :’) I’ve always loved that both games weren’t just standard shoot ‘em westerns, but actually deep character stories that showed the death of the Wild West and outlaw gangs. (For similar vibes check out the film The Wild Bunch!)
Not because the game is bad but I have a problem, I'm so bad at enjoying a story if the gameplay isn't great. And this game has good game play but for me a game either has amazing gameplay or has mulitplayer and rdr2 has neither
Great video and funny like always Personally I find this game a drag, I just don’t care about the story and characters and that kills the game for me. In other games the gameplay will be the reason why I keep playing but in RDR2 it’s so sluggish and slow I ask myself why I’m even playing
@@PatrickFinney I agree, luckily I'm the opposite where I can get past bad combat and just enjoy the story. But the combat is super dry which is frustrating
@@nomoiman I appreciate you watching even though your not a fan of the game! I can agree the gameplay isnt great but story wise it really is awesome. The mission structure can get grating at times but it is luckily worth it in the end
Algorithm sewered you dude - keep up the good work!!
As long as the people who see it enjoyed, I'm happy! Thank you for watching

I teared up both times I played. Arthur is just such a well written and lovable character, its hard not to get hit in the feels!
Under rated video
I'm glad you liked it!
I just watch your videos to improve my English
Thats awesome! I am definitely not a great English speaker but its really cool you find that type of value in my content!
Great vid but I'm just couldn't like the game when I played it

I know I hate that I'm this way too
