We visited Seelo Performance to strap the F30 330d down on their Dyno.
We were curious to see what power she put down to the wheels and needed to make sure she’s running healthy!

I mean it's good to know what my cars increases are with stock turbo mapped stage 2 and I get great consumption too...around the 300+hp and 600+nm you can expect.
Yeah these cars gain loads of power when moded! Enjoy.
It made around 215 bhp LOL if you convert it. Here in the UK 330ds get over the standard quoted 258bhp on average around 264bhp stock

Bhp is flywheel power not wheel horse power You need to subtract whatever percentage drive train loss you use (it can vary greatly depending on who you talk to) from the figures you quote. 12-15 % is the norm.

Literally all the comments on this video 🤦♂️ this is power to the wheel.. I have an f30 330d I’m in the UK and to the wheel this is about right.. my friend had an rs6 and that was 800bhp to the WHEEL he also had an R8 and the RS6 was pissing all over it… most bhp is from the main dealer (or what you find on Google) is to the flywheel and not to the wheel itself

Dude something has to be wrong there. Intake filter? Pdf Cleaned? They use to be over 258 stock
Absolutely nothing wrong. She's running healthy. The power figures are power measured to the wheels. Not the flywheel. BMW claims 190kw to the fly. Power we achieved is in line with most other stock 330d's in South Africa.
in Germany 195 KW stock BMW 330d F30 = 266 PS

I will never sell this car. Bmw diesels if you look after them, give you solid years. Stage 2 is MORE then enough on a bmw diesel. I had a 2010 320d e90 m sport with stage 2. I did 450 000 kms on that car until I sold it. To be completely honest I wouldn't even touch this diesel. Just service on time n drive it with respect and care.
I think you're spot on man. They are strong reliable motors. Your 320d did some serious milestone mileage! Goes to show how maintenance can keep them running well.
I'd still really like to do a stage 1 tune.

Quite a lot of smoke for a car with DPF. Shouldn't be that way, mine didn't do it on dyno either. Nice car! 👍👍👍

Literally all of them in South Africa make this power to the wheels. Send me a link to a video of a UK one making that power stock...
@@MrDulce393 that shape of 330d officially gets 254bhp which is flywheel power, maybe a wee bit more if you have a good one. Most dynos
In the uk read bhp which is flywheel power not wheel horse power. To get that at the wheels your 330d would need a good remap.
I have a 2013 330d touring.
Visit DARK SIDE DEVELOPMENTS UA-cam page and find all the n57 engines they have tuned before and after !!! Also search NV MOTORSPORT they have a ton of 330ds stock n tuned !!!!!

I just mapped my 330d lci including gearbox map. Standard 261hp(258 claimed) 560nm. After the dyno is now pushing 335hp and 668nm. On the video 215hp figures would be correct if it was mapped 320d so I am a bit confused.
Does your dyno measure fly wheel power or wheel power?
Darkside as well as most European dynos measure bhp which is flywheel power not wheel horsepower.
