How did these people win with 11 against Mark, while David and Christine, with 26 against Mark, STILL lost, stolen empty handed?? I can’t believe they haven’t even gotten a second chance
mark is by far the fastest chaser, having easily the highest pre-answer and instant-answer rate on the show by a margin. he was caught off by a lot of questions he didn't know in this 11. He did fuddle a couple though.
@bricklock1942 Yeah, I think they do it to maintain variety and ensure that episodes don't feel repetitive with the chasers winning all the time because let's be honest, realistically, they would win all the time.
@ I agree with you. Altho she seems to be stumbling a bit in recent episodes. For some reason she seems to do better against high targets than low targets
It was poor thinking for The Dark Destroyer, passing on which Germanic Language is the most widely spoken in the world. Any known language is better than `pass.`
The question about "taking a knee" was highly misleading, if not completely wrong. I believe they are referring to players kneeling during the playing of the US national anthem as a form of protest against racial injustice. However, "taking a knee" also refers to a pretty common play in American football used to simply run time off the clock, typically at the end of a game or half. It has been around as long as American football as far as I know, and if not it was still many decades before 2016.
Totally. It was a play (called this since the 80's) first, and the question said "what sport first used the term 'taking a knee' in 2016?" That date does refer to the disgraceful Kaepernick. Again, it was a play first, and coined in the 80's. It's a messed up question.
It’s because all 4 players were eliminated in their head-to-heads, and when that happens, the team nominates one player to represent them in the final chase, and if they beat the chaser, they win £1,000 each.
7:38 why was safia standing on the side and the only one doing the final chase? I thought it was the whole team that had to do it? None of the others were eliminated. This is the first time I have seen that.
They call it a Lazarus final. When all four players get caught in their head-to-heads, they nominate one player to represent them in the final chase, and if they outrun the chaser, the entire team win £1,000 each.
For those who are unsure, speed is measured in questions per minute (q/m) on this show.
The thumbnail looks like jenny is about to lose
It's not going to be MPH is it?

I believe the producers tell them to lose some matches.

Depends on the sets of questions and how quickly Bradley read as well. The absolute number doesn’t tell everything
Shocking to see mark lose to an 11, since when does he wear a red tie too?
That was only a one off because it was around Christmastime.
Legit he had a tough set of questions
@@gameshowclipsthe red tie jinxed him I think 😂
I bet his counterpart in Croatia who couldn't catch a 5 is laughing at him.
i remember watching The Beast's one live and i was screaming at the screen the whole time, that was absolutely brutal

He needed to pass on questions he didn’t know quicker.
24:08 contestant in red Natasha used to work where I worked.
Very rare to see Jenny lose to 17.
Yeah
It's their worst chases for a reason
Jenny is the chaser that you don’t want to face. I think she’s the best Chaser on the show (in terms of getting answers right)

Can't help noticing that when the Chasers lose badly, especially to a low score, it's also the case that it's to a relatively low sum of money.
Why was Safia standing separately in the 2nd clip? Never seen that before

If all get beat in the head to head they all cone back and 1 tries to win there team 1k each
To be fair it always gives me a sense of satisfaction when The Chasers lose, especially when its at a low margin.
I was playing with my friends in Roblox that’s how I couldn’t make it
I saw the lazarus final win live.
Dark Destroyer must have been distracted by the contestant during his chase for 12...
Gunmetal is a shade of which colour? GREEN! I genuinely laughed out loud.
is that really worse than saying blue for a blueish colour?
Whem the dark destroyer loses to 12 why is the contestant not behind the desk

One was picked to go up against Shaun after he eliminated the entire team

Why was safia standing
She was nominated to play in the final chase after all 4 players got knocked out in their individual head-to-heads.
I can’t find the video, but I remember Anne losing to 7 many years ago.
She’s never lost to a 7.
Maybe I’m remembering wrong. Perhaps she couldn’t get past 7 steps, so she lost by only reaching 7.
@@ArtemKonstantinovich There was a final where she lost to a 12, and she only scored 5, you’re probably thinking of that one.
