Cheers for all the positive feedback! Feels good to have another film out and about! Want to say a huge thank to Redbull and the team for making it happen!! 🙏
Danny, you inspired me back in the mid 2000's to ride trials, you've always been an inspiration and I want to thank you for continuing on. I gotta get a trials bike and get back into it. Thank you for the inspiration !
You sir are my favorite. I don't know anyone who not only makes it look so much fun, but also clearly is just having so much fun. I hope you get to keep on doing what you love for many years and I'd love the chance to buy you a drink one day to say thanks.
Was so excited to see a new video from my favorite rider. Watched it with my three boys and they asked me "is he the best biker in the world?!?" :) Love to see a few of the wrecks in the video as well. Makes you feel more like a mortal.
Danny makes crashing look good! And I'm so glad those clips are included. So many of his stunts look inhuman but these videos of his are so human, and so inspiring. This 'Scot at heart' in SF really appreciates you, Danny.
Danny is the man. His stuff is so creative and he always has this charming smile. It’s so cool to see him do SF. A tennis net? Probably not the most dangerous trick in the video but definitely one of the most impressive. Nice song choice too. Glad he threw a couple crashes in too, breaking the 4th wall
I love showing the few fails in this edit. We've all seen the 'making of' films these days and we know how these films really work. Showing just how hard some of these scenes are, just makes you appreciate the riding even more in my opinion. This marks the end of the 'perfect' riding edit!
For 13 years, every time Danny makes a new video, we think he will never do better. But each time, he invents more creative and difficult moves 😮 Can't wait to see your videos in 2030 Mr. MacAskill! We'll be there
Everything he has ever done had already done prior to him. His credit should be given for the balls to wall style, his tricks have been done elsewhere and often better even.
Being from the Bay Area this hits home, literally! The whole edit was just beautifully constructed to stitch Danny’s unique (and insanely difficult) riding, the San Francisco backdrop, music, feel and coloring. Bike Video of the year!!
It genuinely makes me so happy when danny releases a new production, theyre so well made and i love that you throw some of the failed attempts in there. Makes you realise hes just a human like the rest of us and it inspires us normies to try something you probably thought was impossible. Loved this ❤️
We had the privilege of watching Danny film some of this during a family trip to SF. He and his crew were super friendly and kind. Thank you for a great family memory Danny!
Watched this once, watched The Back of the Postcard series and came back to watch again with an even greater appreciation for what Danny and his awesome crew have accomplished here! Congrats Danny. Truly incredible and inspirinig!
This might be my favorite video from Danny yet! Power for days, how a guy can carry enough speed to hop two consecutive stair sets at 90 degrees to one another, let alone to 180 out of the second set is insane. I love the little road bike party nod on the tennis court too! On another level from start to finish! Cheers.
@@casestudymtb yeah that was one of my favourite moves of this edit (the 180 up the stair set) - that and the nose 180 on the mooring bollard very early on - oh and that downhill frontie off the planter before that

I’ve loved MacAskill ever since that video he did with the song “The Funeral” by Band of Horses, and was excited to tears to hear The Shins in this video. ❤ What an absolute legend!
I could watch Danny ride all day 24/7. The lines and his ability to ride anything are absolutely mind blowing. That Tennis Court Net Ride WTF!!!??? How??! Amazing Danny!
When I was a kid in the 80’s, you were the kiddie if you could do a wheelie and a bunny hop. The stuff Danny does on a bike absolutely blows my mind. Stunning skills, just stunning 😀👏
I love how Danny leaves the crashes in this one. It shows that despite his skill and talent he’s not infallible. It makes it both: More believable, as well as more relatable. Definitely up there as one of his best short films.
It seems like every time I watch a Danny MacAskill edit I think that it will be the last one he puts out because I have no idea how it could ever be topped, and this one is no exception, everything done was absolutely mind blowing and ridiculous. I also thought the Alcatraz bit was super cool, I went there once and was thinking the whole time about how cool it would be to ride. This is seriously one of the best edits ever.
I am mountainbiker and dont know what the names of his tricks are. But what i know from 26 years on a skateboard is that his abilities are mindblowing. The whole video had such a great vibe and i have seen so many well known skatespots (china banks, pier 7) which i know from skateboarding. Nice that he rode that spots with a bike. That gave me a different perspective what is possible with a bike. Danny McAskill is a living legend and i really enjoy every video he brings out. The front flip over the stairs was sooo damn crazy! WTF! No margin for error in there!
Honestly, a few weeks ago I'd never heard of Danny. I'm not exactly the target demographic! But I'd been in SF a few months ago and the "algorithm" suggested this video to me. Wow. Just wow. Have devoured this, all the behind the postcard videos too. Huge congrats to Danny and everybody who worked on this. You can just feel the love and care.
Totally astonishing, everything he does is so absurdly dangerous and requires such precision you’d think by odds watching all his videos it’s impossible for him to still be alive but he’s done it again. Well done Danny, I’ll do everything in my power to make sure this video gets the recognition it deserves.
Glad you’re still out here keeping it 2010 for us Danny. I was one of the background messengers in Premium Rush. Retired from the road now finally. This is taking me back to watching your videos and showing them to my buddies, then I got to be in the same movie you were in too!! Haha I have no real claims to fame, just proximity to it. Cheers to you still being the most creative rider I know of!
Pretty much everything in this is total genius. The whole section from 2.05 up two sets of stairs and then the nuts drop down is brilliant. It's like bike parkour.
I might be partial because I live in The City but this is the best one so far! Already been said but the shots of your less successful attempts make your insane skills much more awe-inspiring!
the OG master at work. stunning. the backtire tap frontflip at the beginning, the double upstairs around the curve with the upstairs 180 front tap and the ride on the tennis net are just nuts
I hope we never stop getting Danny Mac content. It's so good! The front flip to back slide was FELT. I appreciate the "bloopers" as it shows he's real. Well done.
The ride across the tennis net...insane 🤯🤯🤯 Excellent work man! And appreciate you leaving some crashes in, shows the hard work and determination you put in to complete a stunt!
I'm a teacher in the Bay Area, and we live on Danny's videos! I tell my students that, like Danny, it's all about training your mind and your body and working hard on your skills - and you can do anything you set your mind to! They love it, and I'm so excited that you made your latest video in our neck of the woods!!! Keep it up...
The production team really kills it on every project with Danny. Stylistically every project is the same and it’s cool to see that vibe continue through each one!
Street trials Danny over MTB Danny any day 🔥 Danny truly looks in his element on a trials bike, as good as he is on a MTB it's just not the same as the iconic videos we all know and love with street trials
Still not taking it easy after all those years throwing out one amazing video after the other! Huge respect and well done, another brilliant video full of incredible riding and filming!
As a longtime Danny MacAskill fan who lives in SF this felt like a love letter from him to me and everyone that lives here. I'll never get tired of watching this.

My hat's off to you for sharing the human struggle alongside the polished final product!
Bike parkour from Danny is ALWAYS thrilling to watch!! Glad they threw n some of his crashes too to show he's still human. Just the smile I needed to end my day. TY! One of a kind on a bike Danny!!!!
Really impressive stuff especially the china banks part that was extra special to see and the ender was pure sender. Highest praise to Danny and big ups to the crew love how they include the struggles as well tastefully done!
Danny always looks so happy! Also, cool to see Alcatraz. I have happy memories of hundreds of hours skateboarding around there (in slightly lower resolution) many years ago.
Danny not only are you superhuman but truly you are one of the greatest artists of the modern era. My future children and I thank you for what you do. Sharing hard evidence life's beauty is what you make of it with bails and all, smile through progression, reach for impossible, and let your light glow. Never stop being you! Godspeed on the next much appreciated and anticipated adventure!
I watched my first Danny Macaskill vid 12 years ago and I think this was the best one since then. It feels like an old school video without and over the top production gimmicks. I also live in SF so awesome to see the city as a backdrop for the GOAT
Awesome video. I like that fact that the failed attempts were included. It reminds people how much effort and skill really goes into this, from everyone involved. I want more celebrations shown for when he finally lands the trick he's failed at a couple times. That kind of energy can't be faked and it shows just how much some one else can care about your success.
I had to pause and rewatch so many of these tricks. They are incredible! Doing backflips and front flips without a kicker or anything else! Just using the natural terrain. Awesome video.
Shook my head in disbelief riding over the tennis net 😲 just unbelievable balance. Nice to see some of the failed attempts, reminds us that he's human!
SF is a postcard of a city. (minus the parts where people ruin it). Danny and team did a great job of capturing some of the most iconic parts and blending them with brilliance on a bike. Danny riding across the old tennis court net was insane.
All these years later, and Danny keeps breaking my damn floor by dropping my jaw so violently. Seriously bro I'm going to hit oil if you keep being so awesome.
Never tired watching your vids. Always waiting for the next one or re-watching them. Imagine the places I can go if I could even do ½ the kinda jumps you do, Danny.. Stay awesome!
Love the classic urban riding. Ryan Leech did train tracks years ago - now a tennis net! Awesome, love it, it's my favourite video of yours (I liked the ride to daycare one with a trailer too of course).
Greetings from the Highlands - stay strong and keep the rubber side down pal... always good to see another vid. Remember the days in Evanton with a couple of friends and blasting around on small Kona frames doing a few tricks, using the video that was new at the time... Dirty tricks and cunning stunts, I was 18 then, 47 now.... just about manage a trundle on the mtb now and then.
Fantastic, as always. Really great how you left the crashes in there. It's one thing to watch the seamless videos where it "looks easy" but I can't seem to do any kind of trick without ending up on the floor with my shins bleeding - None of that stuff the pros do is easy, it's years of work, and the crashes we saw are only the start of it. You guys go through far worse, far more times, to get where you are. Hats off, man.

10 years ago, I was already impressed by him. He is still at the top. Great man.
