      Thanks Andy!! 🙌 Can see why it was one of your regular spots! We could not believe how busy it was given it was just a normal weekend, but can see why so many people head there!

    Used to go to Sandy Cape a lot. First went there when the shacks were still all along the coast. It was amazing back then but generally too busy for us these days. Pushing further north along the tracks can get you to some more quiet places. Swimming with the sealions would be a great experience, such graceful creatures in the water.

      It would have been awesome to experience Sandy Cape before it got so popular. It is certainly a beautiful spot so I can understand why people head there. Next time we will definitely venture down the track further to see if we can get a bit more of a secluded site. The sealion tour was fantastic, such cool animals to be able to see up close! Thanks for watching mate!

    May I ask the sandboarding u did is normally only allowed when you enter the beach at the south end with that dune that goes into the water as the big dunes on the right side of the road coming in are unsafe and have a sign to say no entry or no trespassing as they change so quickly and risk vehicle and life so always the many many times there everyone is on the one on the beach even the dude that hires boards eh so be keen to know that’s not the ones u were on and u have found another you can tell us about ta ? 😊

    • @RoaminintheRobbo
      @RoaminintheRobbo  Рік тому +1

      Hi Darline the ones we were on were behind the campground,so they would be the ones on the right as you drive in. There was a path leading up to them from the campground and from where we walked up to them there was no signs saying they were unsafe and we didn't see any around the dunes so had no idea 😳 thanks for letting us know!

    No harpoons? The whale, dolphin and seal tours do not have harpoons for hire and do not let you bring your own! No opportunity to follow traditional hunting practices!

      Hmmm can't see that tour being overly popular 🤔😂
