@Google User I'm still upset that it's possible that Dany has her average "madness" ending because she's built to be an amazing character. I believe she should have a better ending, the throne is the perfect ending for her but obviously we know that game of thrones doesn't do perfect and that's unfortunate :(
After all, she has been through, she was betrayed by almost everyone around her. She was all alone in the end and the only person she trusted murdered her with a kiss. She was not even given an opportunity to sit on the throne for which she worked so hard which was cruel. She is the best character in the GOT series and will always be my Queen. Her death was well deserved. Daenerys massacred countless innocents and she was ready to kill far more.
They deserved to rule the Seven Kingdoms together. Breaking the wheel. Uniting the realm to face the looming apocalyptic threat. Fulfilling their destiny and the prophecy of Aegon “The Song of Ice and Fire”. They deserved infinitely better.
Ramin Djawadi truly outdid himself while writing "Against all odds".. I've always loved Stark music more than any of other houses themes, but this one truly gave me shivers.. This guy is going places
Its interesting because it also has the Leitmotif of Dragonstone, which is a Targaryen song. It's a passionate song for both the Targaryens and Starks...
They should have taken Kings Landing when they first arrived in Westeros. Daenary's could have taken it in one morning, killing Cersei but sparing the people. She still had good advisors directing her in that way at the time. Instead, she met Jon, took on the battle with the Night King losing her dragon, her friend and half her army. Also, Jon would not have known his true identity if he had not gone north. The Lannisters would not have had time to prepare those dragon killing defenses. Once she had taken King's landing, she could have combined her armies with those of the Lannisters and taken them (and three dragons) north to fight the Night King. He would have still been behind the wall. Daenarys would not have gone mad because she would not have lost so much.
@@mitch76 They didn't expect Kings Landing to surrender that fast and Daenarys didn't plan to destroy the ciry. Maybe they would never surrender, knowing the White Walkers are marching towards Winterfell.
ya and then they both created a huge ass war for that love! it gives me the shakespear vibe where innocent people have to go on to fight stupid wars cuz of two idiots being in love! what Danny and Jon is feeling is great cuz they deserve it and its not bring any animosity if they work together to rule the throne but what Rhaegar and Lyna did was plain out stupid! Rhaegar was fucking married and had children, all of them whom he left unprotected as father to fuck another girl and protect her child instead! fate or not, its still fucked up to do so! People keep saying that Tywin was a bad father, but atleast he protected his kids! even Tyrion at times! also no wonder Oberyn was sooo pissed for the rest of his life! his sister was raped and niece/nephew were killed just because of Rhaegar! And Lyna had the right to choose her life partner and what not but its never okay to be in relationship with a married man and take his focus away from his first family to save your kid!
That was an epic scene I guess the North does not Remembers as they were quick to forget Daenerys's contribution in the Great War and the sacrifices she made to save the North.
I remember listening to these themes after season 7 in 2017 thinking it would end in tragedy, and it did. I know season 8 was rushed and not very good, but this just crushes my soul. What happened to all of the baby foreshadowing in season 7?
Jon and Dany will fall in love in the books, and she will go mad. It will be even more heartbreaking in the books though because GRRM will make us feel it through their actions, inner monologues, and dialogue. It will make Jon having to kill her so much harder.
@Not Alfie I think the books have some significant things that can foreshadow the encounter, of course, and maybe something deeper between them. Is not too much, but this is what I'm referring to: 1 This first clue is assuming that R + L = J is true. So, this is the most popular clue wich is related to one of the visions in the house of the undying in the second book. This vision is about Daenerys looking at a wall of ice (the night's watch) with a blue rose growing on it (Jon Snow) and a SWEETNESS in the air. 2. Then, in the last book, in one of Jon's chapter he's contemplating Val (a wilding he considers beautiful). Val has blond hair but for one moment while Jon is looking at her at the distance it seems like she had silver withe hair (this is an effect of the moon light) and suddenly he senses a SWEET arome in the air. 3. When Melisandre talks about Jon (last book) she describes him as a man with a shadow face (or someting like that jaja) and in the same book when Daenerys talks about her love one, she says that every time she tries to see him, all she sees is a man with a shadow face. 4. The last chapters of the last book are Jon (where he dies), Ser Barristan and Daenerys. So, when Dany is in the grass sea she's trying to survive and also has a lot of thoughts. While she's walking, she hears the sound of a wolf and that makes her feel sad. So I know what you're thinking, is just a wolf in a apparently lonely place so it does not have a link with Jon. But why would the writer put the cry of a wolf in a Dany's chapter after the chapter where Jon dies? And why does he describe Dany feeling sad because of it? Coincidence? I think not :v jajajaja so yes, almost all the "clues" are in the last book (considering the fourth one has no chapters of Jon or Dany). So, I believe they do are going to meet, and if they don't develop a love relationship, they probably are going to have a deep conexion with eachother.
Not Alfie the whole story is a parallel between the two . Their journeys literally parallel eachother almost to a T and the story is literally about them getting together . Hence Fire and Ice .
Its hard to say that jon-dany is fan service. The storyline the elements points to these two coming together. The two falling for each other seems to be a natural thing that could happen. Theyre similar in many ways - save and protect. Dany would fall for a real leader but not like any typical lords. Jon seems to be impressed with strong willed women and Dany with her strong will and good heart surely will captivate Jon.
I just keep on listening to this sad yet beautiful song, over and over, after warching the finale episode. By the time I heard it in the finale episode of season 7, two years ago, I should've known that there'll be no happy ending for their love story. It would be a tragic bitter sweet one, just like this song. I shade a tear, as these melody tearing my heart, piece by piece, and as my mind recalling all of the beautiful moments that Jon and Daenery had shared since the very first day fate had brought them together, till the very last beautiful moment when they travel their dragons to the waterfall in winterfell... They are a song of ice and fire. Their love was the most beautiful love story that ever written, ever! After what they've been through in their tragic and lonely lives, they finally found their true love, someone to share their bitterness and loneliness, and sharing their destiny as a ruler as the last Targaryens. And they have never been in love with anyone else like ever before. They deserve a happy ending, to be honest... But hey, what do I expect? Its a Game of Thrones! "If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention." Well.. Farewell Jon Snow, Aegon Targaryen! Farewell Dany! And farewell Game of Thrones! 😭😭😭
Because it reminds you of when GoT was worth something. Season 7 had some logic problems but it was at least enjoyable. In season 8 they decided to take that away too.
Truly one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever composed. Blessed are the ears and the souls of those who were fortunate enough to be born in the Djawadi era. May peace and love be yours forever..
This theme has always made me cry but it does more than ever after the finale. So tragically beautiful. Two amazing characters put in terrible situations.
Daenerys is an example of wanting something so bad to the point where you turn into the one thing you swore to yourself you would never become. Such a tragedy..
@@pplr1 No, the show can't stand on its own. Martin is the creator of the story, this is his vision and art and he's the one to decide the ending. And D&D dropped plenty of hints where this is going. Many of us warned her fans that Dany's decisions were questionable but they chose to justify all her mistakes instead. I kept saying since season 4 that she will turn bad and people insulted me. They wanted their fairy tale. I understand some of you feel betrayed because you should have seen it coming and you didn't. I think the show was challenging us to see through the facade and not take everything at face value. Some people fell into the trap others didn't.
@@adelinadulce GRRM isn't running the show so he shouldn't be deciding people's fates in the show. No, D and D didn't know the end until several years into the show. And even then they should've realized these were to similar stories but different stories nonetheless. Also I think you meant to stay "fate" rather than "faith". Not that I think spelling is the problem here, rather missing that it is possible to give GRRM too much credit and influence when it comes to the show-or perhaps not enough credit for the show failing-which is what happened in the end. Also GRRM may be failing at his message then because-like I said earlier-he or the show through his influence is using double standards to send that message. Double standards are not a good way to determine if someone is good or evil. The show shouldn't be lying to the audience if trying to represent or show something. That is a supposedly a moment of truth rather than blatant dishonesty. If the message is to look carefully the irony is that a careful look undercuts the messenger and the story he brings.
I can't explain how much I love their stories. Jon had hard life trying to find himself, because he never new what he truly was. The worst thing in any of that is that this entire time he was treated like a bastard, while Ned new the truth. I know it was all because he wanted to protect Jon, still very sad. And Dany's storyline is just so epic. She never new what she was, what can she do. She was raped, and had a hard time with that. Treated like a slave, but then, when she left, everything changed. I think that Jon really found himself when he left the wall. And their storylines are in the truth I believe. It's not just their storyline, It's storyline of Lyanna and Reaghar (have no idea how to spell his name k....). It's so wonderful

Honestly, at this point, nah. If it was gonna happen, they'd already have started alluding to it. Plus, Dany fucked with blood magic which made her horrifically miscarry and Jon is literally undead, so I don't think it's even a possibility.

Jon and Dany will fall in love in the books, and she will go mad. It will be even more heartbreaking in the books though because GRRM will make us feel it through their actions, inner monologues, and dialogue. It will make Jon having to kill her so much harder.
Bold of you to assume Jon comes back to life in the books 👀
There are only two books left and Dany hasn’t even invaded Westeros yet. What makes you think GRRM will be able to pull it off...
Because the last two books with probably be 3000 pages each. And also I’m really hoping that Blood Raven body snatches Jon. Or Bran body snatches him.
@@SilasLa218 GRRM trolled them for shitting on his story. it wont be the same in the books no way.

If you actually look into the books and since season 1 there was so much foreshadowing to this
Beautiful peice of music
Not Alfie - I always felt as though the foreshadowing was leading to a conflict between the two.
FOR SURE
Examples. Those are always important.
@Not Alfie I think the books have some significant things that can foreshadow the encounter, of course, and maybe something deeper between them. Is not too much, but this is what I'm referring to:
1 This first clue is assuming that R + L = J is true.
I think not :v
jajajaja so yes, almost all the "clues" are in the last book (considering the fourth one has no chapters of Jon or Dany).
I think I now understand why they always made this theme sound so mellow and tragic
I think that song must play in the last episode
I'm guessing it definitely will
It will, either if Jon kills Dany, or if one of them simply dies, we will finally get to hear the final version of this beautiful piece.
It isn't. George himself said their is the true meaning behind A Song of Ice and Fire.
"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention."
Well.. Farewell Jon Snow, Aegon Targaryen! Farewell Dany! And farewell Game of Thrones! 😭😭😭
Daenerys Targaryen, the most loved and forever betrayed. Reading this while listening to this song, makes me so sad...

@@pplr1 It was GRRM's decision. The books will end the same way.
