I am brand new to your channel and brand new to owning a trailer - the one you have. So I am super excited to find you on UA-cam 'cause Its going to be a crazy new adventure camping now that I'm older. Thank you for the information and I look forward to learning from you and your experiences! Cheers.
Welcome to the channel! Let the adventures begin! I’m learning every time I take my trailer out and I’m happy to know I might be helping others in the process ☀️ so I’ll keep the videos coming! Thank you for watching
Sway bars can be dangerous! Driving slow through a low place can lift the rear wheels off the ground! This happened to me. I quickly put my truck into 4-wheel-drive to start going again as traffick was coming during rush hour! I don't use sway bars now!
If you use the electric jack on the trailer to lift the back of the truck slightly to make hook ups a lot easier. Also, I just learned yesterday that you’re not supposed to use a drill on that type of jack. I still will but I will use it in slow mode. This is my 4th trailer and I’m still learning new tips. My best advice is to enjoy it and don’t make it a chore dealing with the trailer.
OK, you are doing great, one suggestion would be I do not think you need to install the weight distribution hitch when you were driving. The purpose of that is to raise the back of the truck up and balance everything out but your tongue weight cannot be much and you have the ability to adjust on your truck already. I just think it’s extra work for you that you don’t need to worry about try driving it without it on And I think you’ll be surprised there is no difference and a lot less work
I have a 30 foot bumper pull camping trailer (9,000 pounds) and I stopped using the sway-weight distribution bars after it almost caused a traffick wreck! After stopping for the STOP sign I drove across the street but the weight distribution bars lifted rear wheels off the ground leaving me stuck! I turned on the truck 4x4 to get going again. Never again used those damned bars again!
It’s so fun documenting in a video what I’m learning and loving in life but it definitely isn’t easy lol, as far as making money doing it, that would be awesome!!! Thanks for watching ☀️
Let me know in the comments any knowledge you would like to share!
Nice rig. You will have lits of fun.
Thank you so much! It’s been so much fun ☀️
Congrats! Nice camper. I just bought my new Camper, getting it ready for life on the road. Safe Travels 😀
Thanks! You too!
That camper looks like fun to travel in! How many travel trailers/RVs have you owned before this one?
This is my first ☀️
@@lifewithstephanie42 congrats on your first camper!
If you don't have a water pressure regulator you really need to use one on water hose at the campground hook up it will protect your campers plumbing
Thank you so much for the information!
Your definitely getting the hang of it 👍
Thank you for the encouragement!

Wow, thanks for sharing!
One day, I will have a trailer as small as yours 😊 I'm looking at the riverside xplorer 135 😎
Nice, Go for it!

Keep the threads on the stabilizers lubed with a dry spray. We have used battery drill for years with no issues
With the ball still attached to the truck raise the hitch up really high. The sway bars will come off really easily then.
Thank you for the information!

hi, The bars are also anti sway, not just weight distribution. But it's a small trailer so maybe not needed, but why take a chance!

Good luck on your adventure. If I where you I would invest in snap pads they are a game changer. Make sure you extension cord is 16 gauge.
12 AWG would be better.
Good video. Thanks. Your subscriber numbers seem to be growing. Good for you.
Everybody wanna be a UA-cam star. Or make easy money. Both perhaps.
