Serbia, small country that lost almost everything in WW1, half of male population and a quarter of total population killed, but, not one of 36 regimental flags had been lost to enemy, not single one captured by enemy, one small kingdom against two empires.
And in WW II,the same people organized one of the first guerrila formations in Europe under Gen Mihailovic ,and took back Loznica from the Nazis, thus the city became the first liberated city in the war,the Yugoslav army in the fatherland did not win the war,but their songs can be heard at every patriotic gathering, most of the people praise them as heroes,Gen Mihailovic was decorated with the US Medal of Honor, the King who was forced in to exile is once again in his White castle! So when you take in all the facts, the communist terrorists won the battle but lost the war!
Serbian people is very strong . 1389 vs Otoman empire 40 to 1, 1913 vs Bulgaria , 1914 vs German empire 50 to 1, ww2 vs Germany , 1998 vs NATO . and newer defeated.
danijel dach kind of defeated manny times, Serbia was big like during the 13hundreds and a short period from around 1870 to 1918 and today from 2006 other wise they have been under different regimes throughout history like Byzantine and The Osmanian empire and Austria Hungary empire
The footage comes from a Serbian movie about the beginning of ww1 in 1914. On the song, this is what the Sabaton homepage has to say: "The courageous defence of the Serbian capital in 1915 is best described through the words of Major Gavrilovic’s speech to his troops before the battle: 'Soldiers, exactly at three o´clock the enemy is to be crushed by your fierce charge, destroyed by your grenades and bayonets. The honour of Belgrade, our capital, must not be stained. Soldiers! Heroes! The supreme command has erased our regiment from it’s records. Our regiment has been sacrificed for the honour of Belgrade and the fatherland. Therefore, you no longer need to worry about your lives: they no longer exist. So, forward to glory! For the king and the fatherland! Long live the King! Long live Belgrade!'” Belgrade fell on the 9th if October 1915 after 3 days of heavy bombardment and vicious street fighting. The Major's charge was a last attempt to destroy the Austro-Hungarian bridgehead on the Serbian side of the Danube river.
Here is a rough history behind this... When WW1 started, first Austrian attacks were all repelled by the Serbian army. However, then the Germans joined the war on the Austrian side, then the Bulgarians... And Serbian army was no longer able to hold its ground, so they decided to fall back. However, one regiment was left to defend Belgrade. It was just a delaying action to allow the main forces to get to safety. Nobody expected them to survive, even the Serbian supreme command deleted the regiment from the list of units. That is why you hear that speech; that is the speech Serbian commander gave to his soldiers "Your lives no longer exist, so nothing to fear". So, rather than to surrender or stay in city until they eventually get overrun, they decided to go for a charge. In a way, it was a "Banzai charge". But before the attack, they gathered near a flower shop in Belgrade and bought flowers to decorate their uniforms and weapons to be as handsome as possible before the face of death and show no fear. Then they went for the charge... Of course, not many of them survived. After the attack, the German commander was so impressed by these actions of Serbian soldiers that he first saluted them and then ordered a monument to be built in their honor. It is the only case in history that the monument was built in the honor of enemy troops.
HoldMyBeer all of NATO didn’t take part in the operation, only 13 of the 19 members at the time took part. It should be noted that they targeted only military targets at first and when that didn’t stop Yugoslavia’s military from attacking the KLA, they began bombing bridges, military factories and government buildings (all of which are acceptable targets by law). Also, Serbia has admitted that almost all of the casualties in the war on their side were military, with the next highest type of casualty being police officers. Very few civilians were actually killed in the bombings, and the Serbs were constantly firing Surface to Air missiles at NATOs forces, but not a single craft was lost to them. Some were damaged, and the 1 destroyed aircraft has both sides saying something else happened to it. NATO says mechanical issues caused it to crash, while Yugoslavia claimed to have shot it down, with most people thinking they are claiming that so that they can say they have shot down 1 of the 2 Apache helicopters shot down in history.
Hey thanks man for the upload. Always good to see people seeing more positive stuff about Serbia, not just media portrayed crap they put on TV. Much respect!

In 1999 NATO and US chickens were fighting from 10km up high. Didn't have balls to bring it to the ground.
Roswell New Mexico that’s just to minimize casualties USA since Vietnam can’t handle casualties
Lol if us come to ground in serbia it would be disaster for them. Usa useless
To be fair, if you have air superiority, you use it.
