Anyway, Ruthenia originally was joined to Lithuania, and local Szlachta got their privileges guaranteed.Point is, many of them served in commonwealth military, including among hussars. If a man loved slavery, if he loved usury, if he loved terrorism and all the trampled mire of materialistic politics, I have always found that he added to these affections the passion of a hatred of Poland. She could be judged in the light of that hatred; and the judgment has proved to be right." - G. K. Chesterton

For those that don't know Hussars originated from Serbian mercenary cavalry that fought for Hungary after the fall of Serbia to the Turks in 1459 many Serbians moved to Hungary and brought our cavalry traditions with them after the fall of Hungary in 1526, lot of Serbian mercenaries found employ at the king of Poland court where they trained Polish cavalry and Poles later perfected Hussars into a most deadly force, the word Hussar itself comes from Serbian word Gusar which means wanderer.

I live in on the east coast in America where many Europeans would go too when they move. America is a great country and from all the countries I have been too I must say America has some of the most beautiful natural life in my experience. @Hubert Turski if you ever come to America I would recommend going to Alaska atleast once. Alaska despite being EXTREMELY cold has some of the most beautiful lands in the country. There is even a city in Alaska called “the North Pole” and the entire city all year around looks like it’s celebrating Christmas, and at Christmas they will make ice sculptures for some festival on Christmas. Truly something to see. Florida is also a great place to go and visit aswell it’s the state I visit the most. Orlando Florida is home too Universal Studios and Disney World and both of those places are completely breathtaking places. Florida got the best beaches in my experience. Ig California is only good to visit, I don’t really like California because a lot of their politics went retard mode and started getting their entire population addicted to heroin (San Francisco). This is a state I haven’t been too but I really would love to visit one day is definitely Hawaii with his tropical it is, Hawaii is definitely beautiful if you love tropical stuff. "I judged the Poles by their enemies. And I found it was an almost unfailing truth that their enemies were the enemies of magnanimity and manhood. If a man loved slavery, if he loved usury, if he loved terrorism and all the trampled mire of materialistic politics, I have always found that he added to these affections the passion of a hatred of Poland. She could be judged in the light of that hatred; and the judgment has proved to be right."

As a Serb I'm proud that our Polish slavic brothers took our traditions of cavalry and perfected them to counter our biggest enemy.
According to Roman Dmowski (one of the Founding Fathers of the reborn Poland), the greatest threat to the Polish nation/Poland are ✡️ and Germans. If there were not so many ✡️ in the Kingdom of Poland, the Germans (Austria, Prussia) and Catherine (German Tsarina of Russia) would not have been able to erase the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from the map of the world in the 18th century.

Today in Vienna, the memory of fallen defenders is not celebrated so as not to offend immigrants ... What are the times, Europe, where are your values ...
Not really. The bulk of the relief army were Saxons from the HRE led by Charles V, duke of Lorraine.
The contingent from Poland-Lithuania provided only 1/3 of the total force. And very few of the 24,000 men were Hussaria. In addition, Poland / Lithuania was in the fight against the Ottoman Empire. A war had been lost shortly before. So please don't spread nationalistic nonsense. Btw. not Germany, but the former Polish vassal Prussia

If I remember correctly my family comes from Kraków but I cannot say for certain. I would have to ask my great aunt when I get the chance. America is a great country and from all the countries I have been too I must say America has some of the most beautiful natural life in my experience. So if you ever get a chance to come and visit america.
But yeah when I go to Poland I very much will check out all the places I can
