Debbie, you are SO right! I just spent 10 vacation days with family and friends and wanted to share just THAT -- how much better and energetic I feel. Sadly, no one was interested. I ate Carnivore and they think I need my vegetables and variety. 🙄 I watched all of them load up on carbs at every meal and good gosh then the NAPPING ensued. I spent a lot of time waiting for various people to "get going" so we could "do" things. Still had fun, but a lot of wasted time. They have NO IDEA how much better life is with a proper human diet.

Outstanding reply... great story! Do you mind if I share it with Kerry & those on HealingHumanity's membership site? I won't mention names, just your story.

@Robin-lr2zw it really is sad. There are actually several areas in my life that I can't share because people don't want to hear it. I have learned, though, that you can only do so much. You can love them, and you can be an example. That is what I strive for. I know how hard that is, Robin, and I am sorry. I am glad you had a good time, though. Do you live far from family?

We as Carnivores cannot expect our families and friends to get it...why we go through this. They won't understand OR want to hear anything about it until they start seeing positive things about it from more Dr's, TV shows, magazine articles and more. If they knew someone close to them who had a serious condition that was healed by this Diet then maybe they might want to try it. I've given up trying to explain this Diet to my Family. They know the good and amazing results I'm having with it and they still think I'm either crazy, misinformed OR they just aren't willing to give up stuff even if you explain how bad it is for them. I smoked for 40 years and no matter what anyone said I still smoked because I enjoyed it. It wasn't until I couldn't get air in or out and was diagnosed with COPD that I quit. All we can do is manage our own lifestyles. Maybe, just maybe, after a few years this Country will wise up and see how great this Diet is.

Ditto on the feeling better eating this way.
I find myself giggling just a little when I thank God for my food before I eat.
I can't wait for your labs in November, I'm excited for you. I wish you could get them done sooner but that's okay...in due time.
Also, glad to hear you're going to save some money on the electrolytes.
You need that extra money for fun retirement stuff and more meat. Lol

@Fafonia you are so fun! And exactly right! More money for meat! If I said labs are in November, I meant December.
I don't mind, because it gives more time for my insides to heal.
I love that you giggle a bit, thanking God for your meal. You often make me laugh. I love your humor and your heart.

@lctx843 you are probably right behind me! It never is worth it, it's it? I haven't compromised on eating right on this WOE, but back in the day when food was king, I would eat myself sick. Silly. To have a way to eat where you can get full is amazing to me. Thank you so much for your ongoing encouragement.

Yay, Debbie, thank you so much for talking about the definition of great as you perceive it. I think it's an excellent word but it's really nice when we have embellishment to go along with it because you're right it is an exceptionally wonderful feeling that until you've experienced it you can't really describe it well enough. However, when someone says, "Nothing tastes as good as how I feel." Now they can understand there's nothing sugary out there worth ruining how I feel in Carnivore. That kind of tells people how it all goes down, lol.
It's so *great* (there's that word again) to hear about your 165.4!!! because if you round down, that's 165!
Finally, I'm so glad that Old Guy Carnivore responded to you with his recipe on how to make electrolytes yourself. I remember him talking about that, but I only remember the reference and not the recipe. I should have remembered that to tell you. Bad friend. 😊
Oh and I wanted to tell you that just like Dave, I get cramps every once in a while as I'm waking up and stretching ...either when I wake in the morning or worse yet when I wake to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. However, if I take a pinch of salt on my tongue at night before I go to bed, I don't experience that. That might help Dave, too, so I thought I'd share.
P.S. I've been keeping my two extra pounds after I tried some orange cheese in the morning (went thru having blemishes because of the cheese) along with some eggs and the PureBoost Citrus Sunrise. I figure because I feel so good at this weight, and I enjoy the flavor of the quarter of a packet of the electrolyte I'm going to continue.
