I love when Danny switches up the melody of his singing from the normal studio version. It let's you know that its actual his voice and not the stupid pre recorded bullshit other bands do. And for him to still be able to do this song after idk how many years and it still sounds great is fucking amazing

Start of 2:25 those hes never held like that in the past. Hes gotten way better with control. Plus hes having fun and that's what I love about these guys

Like if I can't hit my breathing just right the whole session will crap out fast. Need to get back into them I fell off so I could attempt to focus on cleans. Can never find the perfect balance between good screams and good cleans

I do tend to put more effort into practicing cleans too... at least in the sense of... dedicated time to it, working on my range, tonality ect... my screams tend to naturally come out good if I'm just in the zone and I don't really put time into practicing them much. If I do a little bit of a warm up I'm usually all good to go with screams. I just have a natural knack for them. I plan on doing a 1 take cover on my channel of this song... but still that 8 second growl does intimidate me. It might take a few attempts before I manage to pull it off in a one take version lol
