I had no idea AA was a bitchin metal band. They come up on my UA-cam all the time but only Moving On, which I really like. But I never looked any further than that until someone posted this on Facebook. WOW!! Amazing.

I don't give a shit what anyone says. Danny fucking kicks ass in almost every performance now. They aren't the band they used to be. They've matured and found their place as a band in the metalcore genre. If you ask me anyone who only likes Stand Up and Scream is a metalcore fan, not a true Asking Alexandria fan.

This is the album version - the other version (the Rock Mix) was a bonus track but its the version that was played on the radio and the one they play live most of the time. This version definitely is the best one.

I don't listen to this band. This is the first time I hear this song played live. I just checked the music video with the clean vocals. I am kinda digging more this version with the screaming and gritty clean vocals. Everyone says he is sick but it sounds kick ass!

You do realise that his screams and clean vocals and have gotten so much better in the new album. The drinking doesn't do any anything to the voice. And they haven't dont drugs in such a long time. So they're clean. Plus touring really brings down your voice.
Ok I will admit up front, I have never been into the screamo/emo scene at all, I am a diehard metal head for the likes of KsE, Mudvayne, Disturbed, etc.
I have heard of Asking Alexandria a couple years ago, when they covered the classic Skid Row songs, and was impressed, but the rest of their songs never really appealed to me, then when I heard this song I was again intrigued by this band, and this is probably, in my opinion, one of the best Rock Anthems out there right now, as well as Until The End feat. Howard Jones (formerly Killswitch Engage), and started looking up some of the AA interviews and such.
Since learning that Danny Worsnop had both a near-death overdose, and a ripped vocal cord, I couldn't help but think "ok he's in a screamo band, and ripping a vocal cord is a big deal, on top of the overdose prior to ripping it and his body still being weak from it and not fully healed, how can he still scream properly without having flat points in his live performances and having a lot of mixing in the studio".
Now I'm going to bring up a couple of live performances, and how drastically different they are, with this video being one of 3 videos. This video you can really tell, that him trying to sing the screamo version of this is very taxing and difficult on his vocal cords and on his body and I agree with a lot of people saying that by the end of this song, he is extremely tired.
Another video would be of last year's Download Festival in the UK, with him singing the rock version with a little screamo in there, was by far the worst performances I have seen by him, and (again in my opinion) his best performance and video of it, is also last year's Rock Am Ring in Germany. He's a great vocalist and entertainer, however I think he needs to ditch the full-on screamo act, and go to a more rock sounding vocal and scream when necessary and according to his voice that particular day of performance
