I was fortunate to catch Peggy, Mike and Pete at an very non-discript event held less than a mile from me. I also was lucky to get them to sign a baseball I had with me! I also was lucky to see Ewan Macoll and Peggy at a pub doing their weekly singalong. This is great that the Folk Awards recognized Pete.
Beautiful, lovely, & inspiring . Keep rewatching this because I've just realised it says something about a spirit & a time i came from, but more importantly there's such a sense of hope & future about it.
Just finished reading PS's autobiography, "First Time Ever." I recommend it for her discussions about the Seeger family, folk music, and lefty politics.
Whistler: Peggy Seeger has a website and her many, many albums and books are available there. She has her early recordings and her later compositions, too. Enjoy! She's all over You Tube, too. Check out her late husband Ewan MacCall, too
❤How wonderful!.Peggy Seeger plays autoharp. I used to have a Russian record by Pete and Peggy.Seeger.It.seems.that somebody else knew.about.the.wealth.of it. It disappeared somehow.
It's interesting how Peggy has joined in the beatification of her half-brother Pete. She didn't speak to him for something like 40 years because she considered him a political sell-out.
David: She lived in England with Ewan & raised a family there. I spoke with her on many occasions & she always spoke well of Pete. They may have had their differences, but they didn't seem to dwell on them. I doubt that she considered him a "sell out".
For those who haven't met Peggy, I can say she is darling and kind and thoughtful. She's very genuine.
Aye she is, I met her just a few days ago, wonderful woman

I was honoured to see Peggy live for an hour or two in my secondary school of all places. Something I'll never forget.
An amazing and inspiring tribute by a truly special lady. Thanks, Peggy.
Saw Peggy at a concert in Glasgow recently. Absolutely phenomenal. Tears and laughter. God bless

An inspiration, and a voice full of wisdom.
I discovered this wonderful artist two years ago at a national folk festival in Canberra Australia. Blew me away. I need me some cds.

I found this while looking for anyone who played autoharp at Woodstock! I couldn't find an autoharp at Woodstock! This makes up for it.

Huh, Sellout seems like last thing that would describe Pete.
