and humble too. he constantly talks up other musicians, once said that Prince was the most important artist of our times, and often plays with and takes a back seat to young talent. also this - a colleague's husband did some interior design for Bowie, and apparently if he was around he'd personally make coffee for everyone and sit around and chat with them. very normal, grounded person.
I think it is: Bowie (of course) in front, Mark Plati and Earl Slick on guitars, Gail Ann Dorsey on bass, Sterling Campbell on drums and Mike Garson on keyboards. Don't know who the backing singers are, but probably Holly Palmer and Emm Gryner. This is who I see in the video anyway.
Saw Bowie perform at The State in Detroit. This song absolutely rocks live. I waited for hours and we were the first in for General Admission. I was smashed against the rail all night, it was well worth the wait and smashed-ness lol.
Never wrong when it comes to Bowie. Also quite a hard CD to find was only ever released as bonus CD, which is a shame as it is such a good gig worthy of a release of its own.

he seems to be ashamed of the lyrics he is singing .. now that the times are different., he doesnt look like he believes what he sings is cool at all.. what a disappointment
