- There were many issues in our van during the first year of ownership but as we went through the second year there were much less issues. We didn’t have that much wear and tear after 2 years of usage.

You have a beautiful rig! You take great care of it. It’s a bummer you had so many issues with it your first year but great that Airstream fixed all of them. Those back windows are fantastic and make a great backdrop for your videos!
Thank you 🤗We wish Airstream would step up their quality control like your Gretch.
We pour a cap full of mineral oil into the toilet and into one of the sinks a couple of times a season. Keeps the tank valves and macerator lubricated.
Thank you so much for the great tip! Will get some mineral oil ASAP before we run into the tank valves and macerator problems
I love how you take care of your van! I can't sew so I'm so impressed at one of your videos showing your memory foam that you cut to size and then wrapped in a bedsheet with velcro closures! Now I'm seeing your shampoo container in your shower. Is that something you drilled in to install or is it a sticky adhesive that holds them up? And can you tell me where you found yours? It's simple and sleek! Thank you for your videos!!
@@jan141965 Thank you so much for watching, I don’t know how to sew either so I had to improvise. LOL
The shampoo container came with the van with adhesive backing on it. So far it hasn’t come off yet. 🤗
Well, I’m impressed at your improvisation. You could sell those!💖 I’m surprised your van came with the shampoo containers. We just bought a new 24gt interstate airstream and our bathroom didn’t include that😢. Thank you again for your videos😊
@ I am glad you found our videos helpful. Your AI 24GT is so nice and roomy like my brother’s van. Safe travels 🤗
Thank you for such an honest review
Thank you for watching Joanne. 🤗
How can I collect your video from the
first to the recent one?
How you install the mirror on the fridge? Did you order to cut?,it fit
perfect.
Thank you so much, please keep do
it. I enjoy to watch every reviews.
@@ubolpunvollmann4457 Thank you for watching 🤗
You can click on Bam Bam RV Adventures as it will show our channel. From there click on videos and it will show all of the videos. I made measurement of the existing mirror and have the mirror shop cut it to size with their thinnest glass mirror.
Nice review - having a travel trailer we have wondered if some of the initial manufacturing issues you find are present in vans too - and it seems the answer is yes. It really does pay to be handy if you have an rv/van for sure! Now that you guys have addressed most of the initial problems things should be smooth saling. You sure do keep it spotless! Great job on this and thanks for sharing :)
Ahhh so just like what we thought that all RV owners have to deal with manufacturing issues. Hopefully there will be less issues as the years go by or we will be so used to RV related issues by then we wouldn’t freak out as new issues come up. 😂Thanks for watching 🤗Have a great travel year in 2024!
I was searching for reviews of the Starlink Sattelite system for traveling and came across your channel. Now watching your Airstream review. Just want to say you both are such a nice couple. Your video’s are fun. Wifey is gorgeous. Very Informative reviews. I’m thinking of a class B after selling my Airstream sport. Looking forward to more of your reviews
Thank you for watching and your kind comment. 🤗We love the Starlink. My husband can work remote so we can take longer weekend trips. Class B is so convenient if you don’t mind the limited storage space.
Thanks for all your reviews. You and your husband are fun to watch. See you on the road.
You are so sweet thank you for watching and encouraging us. Safe travels! Hope to,set you one day on the road. 🤗
Love your videos! You and your family are lovely!
Thank you for watching Jane. You are very kind. 🤗
Great job
Thank you for watching and your encouragement. 🤗
Darlene, where did you get your baskets in the overhead compartment that holds your clothes? Love your videos! 😀
Thank you so much for watching. I am glad you found our videos helpful. 🤗I bought those baskets from Homegoods store locally. It took me a few purchases to find the perfect size for that space. I was just lucky! There were only 4 there. Just perfect number of baskets that I need. 😂
I don't know that you can get a perfect RV. I had to do many upgrades and fixing things myself that they screwed up. It is outrageous that they charge so much money and the workmanship is shotty.
Yes no perfect RV. Also for the price we paid they should have better quality control before selling them to customers so we don’t have to deal with problems that could be prevented.
Nice reviews of your beautiful rig! Had you considered Grech vans when you looked for your Class B?
Thank you for watching 🤗When we were looking to buy our Airstream the Grech RV only has the longer version but last year they came out with the shorter van like ours. It seems to be very well made but it only has the gravity dump for the black tank which would be a deal breaker for us.
If you bought brand new unit, I think the RV is still under warranty,. You should contact the manufacturer to find out asap
We bought it brand new and Airstream dealer has been fixing all the problems. It is a hassle driving 2 hours each way dropping it off there for warranty work.
Very good information. Looks great, you must take care of your RV or problems will ruin your experiences.
Organization and cleanliness is definitely my wife’s thing. Everything else is up to me. I am quite a bit older than you folks, the last thing I want is to have my adventures spoiled by equipment failures.
We have a lovely Korean couple who we travel with and we always look out for each other.
We sure do enjoy your videos and thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Happy New Year and may God bless you and your family and keep you healthy always.
Happy New Year Doug! You are the handy one in the family like my husband. 🤗It fun to travel with another couple like you are traveling with your friends. Safe travels Doug.
Im laughing at the stove comment she doesnt even stir fry on the stove or really cook! I dont really see an overhead fan for the stove either so I can understand my RV has a fan hood for smoke so it doesnt get all smoked up
Thanks for watching 🤗I really don’t cook much that’s why it is still brand new ….😂😂There is a hood fan right out side the bathroom and we only use that to bring in fresh air. I should cook more to test out the fan to see if it will help with all the smoke from cooking. 🤗
Hi where did you get the mirrow for the fridge?
Hi Peter, we had the mirror custom cut by a local glass and mirror company. It is the thinnest glass mirror available
Thank you @@BamBamRVAdventures
@@PeterNewton-pz4nu You are welcome Peter 🤗
We have a Tiffin Wayfarer … new in 2022 …. We could repeat a very similar list of items on our rig. It seems that one simply has to “work out the bugs” of these RV’s in the first year of operation. It appears that RV’s are often commissioned by the new owners after the sale. …. And I think that your Airstream electrician may have worked on our Tiffin …. It all works, but looks like spaghetti !
Thank you for watching John. Hee hee hee you are totally correct. I was told to buy a used RV that is about 2 years old. By the time it is 2 years old, all the bugs would have been fixed, which seems true in our experience. Our Airstream and every single other ones on the FB forum had the same electrical problem. It was an Airstream feature that did not work correctly and was draining the chassis battery every couple days. Airstream had to undo the feature when we took it to the dealer.
30k miles in two years is great usage! This horrible vinyl seating (so called ultra-leather) fails on so many RV that I’ve seen 3+ years used.
Thanks for watching James. 🤗I guess the ultra leather is not as durable as advertised. Let’s hope it will last more than 3 years for us. 🤞
Make sure your solar panels are clean. Solar panels need to be clean every once in a while.
Ahh…true. The last time my husband cleaned the solar was a few months ago. He needs to climb up there and clean again. 😂

Airstream is owned by Thor. RV companies bought out by Thor suffer significant quality degradation... Tiffin the latest to succumb to poor quality. Leisure Way out of Canada is perhaps the best manufacturer in North America.
Thanks for watching Earl! That’s what I heard about the reason behind the decline in qualities of Airstream too. We were looking at the Pleasureway Ascent too for their quality but since it didn’t check off the macerator on our wish list we didn’t choose it.
Please list your problems not what problems others have had. Everyone use and maintains their Airstream differently! If you’re going to worry about problems others have had, you will be worrying all the time. Be Positive!
Thank you for watching 🤗We mentioned that we had water pump leak, black tank leak, counter top leak, house charging batteries drainage problem, bathroom door warp during the first year. There were so many problems during the first year. During the second year we only had black tank sensor problem. And you are right we should not worry about potential problems that other people have or else we would be worrying all the time.
Actually I think it is important for viewers to also know of potential problems that others have had. Otherwise, if we did not mention these potential problems, a potential buyer would not know of them. Among the features we loved when we looked at the Interstate were the automated shades, the macerator, as well as the motorized steps. However, we did not realize that many people have had failures of these features. If we did not mention this, viewers might not know that these are problem areas.
I understand, but it’s a review of what *your* 2yr ownership *experience* has been. Thanks BTW I could hit the lottery 😂
@@vincentesq Totally agree! Thank you for sharing what you experienced and what you've learned from others. Knowledge is power, not worry! Your videos are great!
Hello you, re the leather wrinkles….i recommend what I use on my face which also now suffers from wrinkles….botox.😂
Happy New Year Peter! Let me try the Botox on my chairs too….😂😂😂
@@BamBamRVAdventures Happy New Year to you too…it’s skin so Botox should work…..hopefully 😂😂😂
