Thank you for your cool video. I'm back to ATS after months of break. I'm wondering if there is a new camera mod that make you feel like you walk first person or you have a mod?
Unfortunately there is no camera mod for that, that I am aware of. The way I am doing it, is you have to go into your command files and edit them to allow it. I can try to make a video of how to do it at a later date, most likely a few weeks from now it'll go up. Thanks for watching and commenting
I don't have my cdl yet(that's the plan for next year) but I do occasionally drive the yard dogs at my work to help out my drivers when they are short staffed at the dc I work at and I can say the game feels very very close to how a truck and trailer move in real life. Between ATS and other trucking games, they have improved my irl skills when it comes to maneuvering a trailer.
That's pretty awesome and very glad to know it's very close. I am also thinking about getting my cdl at some point. I have a video that will be coming out on that very soon where I will explain more of what I want to do. Thanks for watching and commenting. Good luck on getting your cdl someday
Try looking at the trailer wheels when backing. Draw an imaginary line extending from the parked truck. If your trailer wheels are past that line you won't hit the front truck. Good rule of thumb is get as close as possible to the front truck and you have a less likelihood of hitting the rear truck.
Hey that's awesome advice I will give that a try i really appreciate it. I'm alot better at driving in real life than I am in this game i believe cuz I have troubles gauging the distance behind me in game. Thanks for that tip I am going to try it out. I will possibly be doing a livestream this week trying the academy out again I'll mention that and give it a try
I am a professional driver with 15 years of experience and this for me is harder than a 90 because most of the places we go they are 90 back in for docks. blind side is something every driver will do their best to avoid because as the name suggests it is on the blind side of the truck as in the sleeper is in the way and the trailer goes out side of your mirror view even with power mirrors but with that being said it is doable if you Get Out And Look (GOAL) and take your time.
Thats really good to know. Im actually thinking about trying to get ibto driving as a career in real life. I'll have a video on that coming out very soon elaborating more on what I want to do. Im definitely going to be playing through these tests alot more to try to get better in the game. Thanks for watching and commenting
With your commentary and your sense of humor, I've got to say it probably would be pretty entertaining to watch you play through more of these especially the harder ones lol
Love the channel. Recently found it. Fellow "Close to Springfield MO" individual. Have you been having crashing issues using the "standard" mod list. I have acknowledged can't get it worked out
Well hello there neighbor, lol. I'm glad you are enjoying my channel that means alot to me. As for crashing, the only time I ever had crash issues is when mods are out dated or out of order. You can look on my channel, I do have a video on "How to Stack mods" in American truck simulator id recommend watching and seeing if that helps
Diagonal parking made me rage quit. its hard af!
It did me as well, im way better at driving in real life than I am in this game lol.
