How to fix an AC compressor fan

Ok, AC stopped working.
Compressor made lots of noise and got real hot. Fan didn't turn. House air kept blowing, just not cold.
The Capacitor provides a burst of power to get the fan spinning. Without the fan the compressor overheats. The top of the capacitor looks all deformed and swollen. That's what gave it away.
Its a simple matter of turning off the power, opening the access panel, unbolting and disconnecting the thing and finding a replacement.
I sure wish everything was this simple!
