I was too was in high-school in the beautiful Island of Barbados 🇧🇧 dancing and singing to these two handsome brothers music. I just lost one my best friends this week and I remembered Brothers Johnson and Ohio Players were one of his faves. Forever in our 💕 Hearts Louis Johnson and my dear friend Chris Thomas ❤ . I will cherished the memories of our childhood together with Chris with love from Hazel and Betty.

My Brother Johnson eight track started dragging and then hung up. I was devastated. So I had screwdriver and pried it apart and took a pair of scissors and spliced it, then I put some scotch tape on both sides of the tape. Then I rolled it forward. It would play but left some the song land of ladies out.. Oh I was disappointed but I still played the h out of it.. 1976-77. College days on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. Lord and Family Affair 1972 Sly and the Family Stone.. There’s a riot going on.. some of the greatest days ever.. LB January 4, 2023 Wednesday…
Yeah and in my most humble opinion, the crowd didn't appreciate Georges playing as much as they should have. That's a hard lick to play repeatedly as he did.

I'm a bass player and I'm 68 now. I still love the music of the Brothers Johnson. Louis was my hero for a long time. But this here does not even resemble who those guys were in the 70s and 80s. This is so tired sounding. Makes me sad. If they were actors they would be Steven Segal. I know, we all get old and can't stay on top of our game, but these guys aren't even trying.
