Onlyplants Store - Wholesale Plant Hunting in Ciapus, Bogor Indonesia - Part 1
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 гру 2021
- In this episode, I bring you with me to search for plant supply for my shop @onlyplants.store . I was unable to propagate in time, nor offer fast turnover for diversity of species, naturally it made sense for me to bring in stock from growers. Ciapus is a small village in the city of Bogor, about 2 hours drive from where I live. Most of the village have turned into home-growers of houseplants over the last few years. I share with you my sightings and thoughts on the plant retail industry here in Indonesia.

Wow, your every video is just getting better and better...
This was such a treat, especially during this winter time.
Thank youuuu.
I've watched most of your videos in the past two years....old lady in Florida USA
And an avid plant person also. Have learned so much from you...and fun too. Look forward to your personal channel!!
Thank youuu. I used to live in Orlando and I miss it so much. Hope ya’ll are doing well!
Yes, anthurium video is very much exciting to watch. Awaiting....... :)
Just did my last plant haul for the year, and pleasant surprise- I ended up with 13 plants, the 13rh one being a freebie- a string of hearts, no less! Woot! Love the hunt!
Hoho 😋
I love the way you love plants. Thanks for sharing that tour, very very interesting!!
Yayyyy
So many stunning plants 💚
I’d really enjoy any anthurium info you have to share. It’s always interesting to see how others care for their plants. Never know when I can pick up a tip or trick that I was unaware of.
Hope you have a happy New Year Sean!
Another fun video…ummm that variegated maiden hair Fern, so beautiful! So grateful for your videos. Such an awesome nursery!
Thank you Sean for the informative videos! I really enjoy seeing the all the pretty plants in your videos, some of which I have only heard about but have never seen in real life! My wish: that Indonesian sellers have web sites that I can go to. For security reasons, I dont have Instagram or Facebook so it is difficult to buy plants from overseas unless there is a place that I can go to. Or even an email address! (Yes, I'm an old foggie!!!)
Would love if you can do an anthurium video with an emphasis on what a mature form can look like. For me, that is the ultimate in plant collecting.
Yayeee. Lots of anthuriums in february content!
What amazing tour! Love it 😀 good job sean 👏
Sean, you are so friggin' humble I can't even 🥺. Happy new year, wish you heaps of success this year
🙈
Thank you for your honesty!
I have 2 and they are tiny but growing. I love the colour of the leaves and the shapes Also to help the nearby indoor plant shop I pay them to repot and propagate
Nice tour, thanks for the awesome shopping video!🐸
Sending full support
love looking at all the beautiful plants . would love a video on anthuriums, great video , thank you for sharing.
All of the plant beyond beautiful.
I love pothos and have recently purchased a snow queen and neon. Excited!
What an amazing video.....and plant's
It's funny for me to see those plants because in my part of the world they are house plants due to the cold climate.
This was again a great video, Sean!
I love your video's, I always watch them, so educacional and entertaining. I learn a lot from it.
I also love anthuriums!
Happy New Year 2022 Sean!
Happy 2022 to you too 😀
I can't believe how fast your channel is growing! You're almost at 100k :) of course you deserve it, but it nonetheless impressive. Congrats and Happy New Year!

Thank youuu HNY to you too 😀

Happy new year to you Sean 🎉 I really enjoy your videos 😍 Best regards from Germany 🙌
Happy new year ❤️
Wow that last nursery was great.
Wow! So many plants that I want! Nice video and yes to anthuriums video. I'm hoping that one day you do one on gigas .It my wish plant.
oh those anthurims n arroids... drool.....
On a side note, you have to love these rare plants enough NOT to buy them, IF you don't have the correct environment. I live in a 4 season state, so for me it would make zero sense (even if I could afford them, lol). But, those pink shades are sooo lovely!
There are tons of hacks to keep them happy, such as the ikea greenhouse cabinet. Of course not everyone finds them attractive or appealing… but if I lived in 4 seasons I wouldve totally changed my game and approach to plants.
Hi Shaun, great video as always. Like the nursery tour and am very interested in anthurium video ( pollination/hybridization/seed growing). Wishing you a very Happy, Healthy and Wealthy ( lots of success with your plant shop) New Year!

Very interesting video on plant sellers in your area. I’d love to see an anthurium video at the vendor. If you could include birds nest anthurium I’d be grateful.
Hi Sean, love to see your passion in plants still at its high.. you said about to check with each vendors regarding the price of 1 species to have the best price, is it wrong of me, i just want to wait the species available in your store for me to buy, because i know they have gone through such care and consideration 😂
Haha this is what a good plant store must go through. To fight for the best price and quality. Its actually a lot of work!
Anthurium video with Frisha would be awesome
I really enjoy these videos, you are taking me to places I will never go. Your home is very beautiful. I wonder about your weather. Can you tell me your highest and lowest temperatures there??
Highest is maybe… 34 degrees celcius and lowest is probably 24?
❤
Thank you kak Fenty

All of February is dedicated to Anthuriums
Oh cool thanks kindest regards Tanya
Yes Yes Anthurium Episode please Yes!
That variegated adansonii 😍 Does not look like normal variegation to me. Buy the plants and sell that as a adansonii tricolor and you will be rich? 😅🤩
Yeahhh I think so too it looks mutated
variegated papirus at 19:10 maybe
Please do the anthurium videos please! Especially the queen anthurium.
Just noticed the spider just chilling in the middle of the lasagna plant 7:20 lol
The Aeschynantus could be an A. lobbianus (?)… I have just seen it today in the botanic garden here in Berlin. The leaves are silvery and a bit purple on the edge. Nativ to Java (they say)…
BTW: happy new year and thanks a lot for your videos!
Happy New Year! ❤️
Hello Sean. Love your videos. I’m placing an import order from Azzura Plants in Bogor Indonesia. Are you familiar with them? Do you know how I can find out if they are a legit plant nursery? Thank you 🙏🏼
Hello Im not familiar with them. I would to a video call to check out their space and also the plant that you purchased. Be careful there are as many scammers as real sellers
Did you find out how much the variegated adansonii that had the Grey's in it was?
Do you buy from this place?
Yep Ive gotten plants from them. When asked he said that the adansonii is just a regular variegated one. Perhaps it adapted to the climate there to look like that. Feel free to reach out to them to ask how much it is. @frisha_flora
At 19:56 is Peace Lily Sensation Variegated btw if any of you guys are wondering. Sensation is the largest among all of the Peace Lily varieties. I only have the green regular Sensation. The variegated one is in my wishlist 😭
The mauna loa is known to get enormous although that may have just been a different name for the sensation 😅
@@onlyplants Yup. If I'm not mistaken. Mauna Loa and Sensation are both large Peace Lily varities but I'm not sure what is the different between them. Still Sensation is larger than Maula Loa. I think Maula Loa have more rounded leaf while Sensation have long broad leaf. Hope these info helps☺️👌
@@onlyplants There's so many Peace Lily varieties out there. It's confusing 😂
no im not. i dont,t really that alocasia jacklyne but i will buy it anyway in the future
Ooohhh birds works like security alarm 🤣🤣
Lol free security
@ 19.57 we kol dem Sensation var

The first plant you pointed out in the video you didn't name was a Clerodendrum
Ouuu yeah I googled it and it seems to be the clerodendrum quadriloculare. Thanks for the help!
@@onlyplants I used to work in the nursery trade so I know a few things. Would love to own my own nursery some day. But for now will just enjoy your streams and see your business grow.
