@@jimharper2180 Nonsense. Ohtani already earned his own room at the Hall of Fame. Don't try to force that longevity argument on a player who is a uniquely gifted two-way icon and face of the sport.
I happened to see Bob Costas in 1988 at the Jamsil Olympic Complex in Seoul, South Korea. Back then, he was a young, handsome and promising sports castor. But he is already over 70? I can't believe it. Time just flies.
Both Mookie and Shohei did a really good job answering the questions proposed to them both. I really like what Mookie answered in the last question of the afternoon. He answered wisely for everyone to follow the advice. ⚾️💙👍 Go Dodgers in 2025.⚾️💙👍
Crazy idea. Have Umpires wear some high tech glasses that allows them to see a hologram of the 3D strike-zone in real time. The glasses could then pick up jersey, buttons, knees, pants, belts, aspart of recognition software to pin point each height difference every batter and stance will provide. Thus allowing the old school game of baseball to be instilled forever while allowing the calls to be right and for it be pre evolved into the future of the tech world.
No doubt, imagine Mookie with the Red Sox this season. They actually are playing better and man mookie v Soto and Judge. That’s like Spider-Man in….. the Spider-Man game. Sure he’s much happier being a dodger
Imagine being Mookie Betts and being able to say I excel at two professional sports, bowling and baseball. The guy bats 300 and bowls at 300. That’s insane.
Two future hall of famers, imo
They’re locked in, they win a series it’s first ballot
At almost 70 career bWAR, Mookie Betts is already a lock for Cooperstown. Shohei will almost certainly get there within the next five years.

@@surfwriter8461 Are you sure that the voters see it in that way?
@@jimharper2180 dont know the politics of MLB HOF, but I think a majority of MLB fans would consider him HOF if he retired today.
We have 3 of the most humble MVPs ever, regardless of the outcome (all of us Dodgers fan hoping it means multiple WS) we are lucky to see this
Bringing Ohtani to the dodgers is the best move the dodgers have made
Everyday I'm shuffling, looking through UA-cam for highlights and commentary about these guys! Go Dodgers!
If Shohei hits 60+ givem MVP even though he only DHs
@@amonrodriguez3518this age well..54 hr almost 60 but still win mvp

The best Duo baseball has seen in a very long time. Add Freddie to that its the best 3-some baseballs ever seen
When I see Shohei, I click. When I see Mookie, I also click. I see both names, I double click.
UA-cam algorithm is too damn good! 😄
Dodgers are must see TV and the dodgers aren't even my team but I try to watch or record and watch every game I can. They are that fun and good
It never hurts to have 2 favorite teams 😉
It's electrifying at the Dodgers stadium.
Mookie such a stand up guy! Plus he humble! Lets Go Doyers!

Bro Ohtani is a BEAST. Never realized how big this dude truly is
They are making the new era of baseball which has never come yet!
Congratulations
What a great answer for the little girl, Mookie! That's exacly how he plays shortstop 💪💪💪
Showtime Is Going To The Hall of Fame As A Formal Los Angeles Angel That's A Idea
2:45 Mookie doing the betting joke 🤣🤣🤣
wow shohei is really big dude😮😮😮
Mookie should have named his son "Shohei". Imagine Shohei Betts.
Still time!!!

Ohtani actually said “absolutely not” when asked if he can play short stop. He also said he misses feeling of tension on his pitching day.
Redsox eat crow whenever I see Mookie Betts excel

Ohhh and just one more thing mookie…
did betts just say "i'm taking the over"? 🤣🤣
Mookie think he's slick 😂😂😂
He's got the name, "Betts."
Bob Costas the greatest studio host in sports television history?... Really? Yeah. No.
Agreed
One last question mookie… my dog wondered…
coastas is a dodger hater
Othani when anytime anybody mentions Othani and Betts (bets) in the same sentence… 👀
😂 yeah that is clever
Mookie may be dumb as a stump, but hell of a ball player :)
I'm just gonna assume you are either ignorant or racist or both, so I'm glad you made your comment so I could laugh at you.
Learn English, Shohei
How many years have passed already? Enough
Why don’t you just go and learn Japanese? He’s here to play baseball, not to speak English.
