Devil May Cry 5: Full Story Devil Hunter Walkthrough Gameplay - Nero, V, Dante (PS4 PRO)

First impressions of the game: Best hack and slash game around. I don't think any other game compares to the combat mechanics in DMC5 - Most story oriented games have limited replay-ability due to the appealing (at first glance), but limited combat system overall. Comparatively, the replay value in DMC5 is high due to its advanced mechanics that cannot be learnt by playing the game casually; as higher difficulty settings will punish you for not taking the time to learn certain situational moves, especially when talking about V or Dante.
The story, graphics and the comedic value combined are what makes DMC5 so unique, putting it within a lane of its own.
The only issue I've had in combat is with the lock on/camera. Lock on switch (L3) can be inconsistent with prioritizing targets (when there's enemies in camera view but it sometimes locks on to enemies behind your character/out of view) and this in turn makes multi-directional inputs frustrating at times. I wish there was additional features for lock on prioritization, if there is I stand corrected.

Hi SmvR. Great job, as always. Lock-on switch system is really frustrating due to an ununderstandable prioritizating and a limited remapping controler beetween L3 or R3. I may be wrong but one of previous DMC (can't remember which one... DMC 4 or DMC?) allowed to set up the lock-on switch prioritizating system like "closest" or "weakest" by exemple... Let's hope Capcom will update it. Anyway the gameplay offers deep mechanics, as we like.

It took me 3 years to realize Urizen is a play on "your reason", as in, Dante's reason to fight. Thanks, V. And thanks player, for keeping the cutscene in.

I'm new to DMC 5, played DMC 3 SE but haven't played DMC 4 yet so I'm not familiar with playing Nero. I didn't know you can EX Max at the start of this game wow! But I'm bad at timing the exceed so i guess it won't matter to me. Your gameplay is very good kudos to you! :)

Funny enough, the devs had been working on DMC5 for a few years, and it wasn't until they saw Star Wars: Force Awakens in theatres, that they said "holy shit, V looks a lot like Kylo Ren!" They had worked on V's design prior to the movie coming out

Naa cuzz this new GOW was innovative but this is right up there.
God of war has actual depth in combat. It doesn't feel fast fast slash and over. That axe actually feels like an axe. Not to forget runics in god of war surpass anything cool in dmc

@@ovahlord1451 check out GBG's channel. He does game-breaking combos that literally let him use the Blades of Chaos and Leviathan Axe at the same time.
I shit you not, he uses Blades of Chaos runics while wielding the Axe.

I believe this is at least his second playtrough of the game; he has almost every skill/move unlocked
@@RT-we7tg if it was they would have access to both Nero's Devil Trigger and Dante's Sin Devil Trigger from the start. (Not to mention the Calvalere, Dr. Faust, the Devil Sword Dante, etc.) It's probably more likely that they replayed the mission prior to unlocking Dante's SDT.
