    Definitely agree Corrin should have a head hitbox on their head. As well as the Pits having better hitboxes

    Personally, I would’ve liked for Ridley to get something more meaningful. His lack of good out-of-shield options, air stats, and large size make his disadvantage one of the worst in the game, and they didn’t even bother making him heavier than Terry. I don’t even understand why; half the sword characters in the game get to just HAVE good, safe disjoints without all that hassle.

      @@BRILTHY Don't think it's really relevant for him. It doesn't fix any of his issues and makes his matchups even worse, generally. It's a mechanic ALL characters get to use. As the OP said, Ridley has no OOS option. Slingshot makes even more attacks impossible to punish from shield. It's not helping his big-body/poor weight combination, bad air speed, so-so frame data, and awkward recovery either.

      Even as a casual who only knows half of what you just said, I agree. The weight issue is one of the most baffling things to happen in Ultimate. He has some great moves that could've countered that a little bit, but they all have downright _irresponsible_ end lag. I know changing his weight wouldn't have magically made him top tier, but it would've made him something other than a character seemingly designed to be juggled to death.
      _Or_ you could've kept his weird lightweight and made his ground moves even more so-so than they are now, but gave him a killer air game. He's a flying space pirate whose boss fights always take advantage of his ability to fly. Make him, like, the bizarro version of Little Mac. That way, he would've at least had a chance if/when someone started juggling him.

    If we're talking about other characters that could use buffs, I've never understood why Robin has one of the slowest running speeds in the game.
    I feel like most of the other characters who have that low of a running speed are either powerhouse characters who's slow speed is meant to be be offset by the raw damage of their attacks, like Incineroar (the only character slower than Robin) and Ganon, or characters who are meant to spend most of their time in the air, so the low running speed is less of a problem, like Jigglypuff. Robin doesn't fit either of these categories.
    I feel like speeding up his ground movement would be a reasonable change for Robin, seeing as how he already has a number of other drawbacks in his current moveset even without his low speed.

      @@pedrogoncalves4585 honestly that’s fine to have niche low tiers that still have massive strengths. Robin is one of the charecters that I could see do really good at majors with the right player

    1. Fix Bowser Jr. up special not resetting against strong attacks that should reset it/decrease damage minimum threshold for reset
    2. Decrease Ridley down air vulnerability/generally fix bug that slows down dive-type down airs after being hit
    3. Increase the speed of Donkey Kong forward air to be able to space better while short hopping in neutral
    4. Increase duration of Duck Hunt up special/faster start-up speed when momentum canceling
    5. (Hottest take) Allow Ganondorf to turn around in up tilt or cancel it with shield/roll

      The second one was fixed YEARS ago, and the last one breaks every rule of how tilts work. Also Donkey Kong is fine as he is.

      Ganon also deserves to be able to do “side b up b” to recover, so he’s not dying at 50 because a hit sent him a little to low for his up b to work properly. And maybe make his wizard foot pass through projectiles so it has a use rather than just being a bad hail Mary spike.

      @@SunshineRey Yes I hate how it clangs with link's boomerang and gives my opponent a free grab. Pretty terrible at closing a gap when up against zoners.

      @@SunshineRey And the late hit of Ganon’s Up-B should be fixed too. There have been way too many times where my opponent got saved my the late hit knocking them back to the stage after we both fail to recover and I end up losing my stock while they don’t. I’m thinking maybe the late hit should result in a footstool like Byleth’a Up-B. Also his Side-B shouldn’t be a forced suicide when it hits offstage.

    They should also buff Pit's side b kill power it doesn't kill half of the time unlike Dark Pit's. It's not even high risk high reward it's just not worth going for

      @@SorellaKez upsmash is better for jump reads out of shield. When someone uses their double jump during pits combos I always side b. Works almost everytime

      Pit's side b needs to have less kill power since it sends up, meaning when its at kill % it doesn't really matter where you are on stage if you get hit, you are gunne die, while dark pit's sends to the side meaning it can kill early at the ledge near the blastzone but it can't kill for shit when they have to fly all the way across the stage. I'd rather have them buff both dark and normal pit's side B in the air, because the air version does like 9% and has virtually no knockback, it serves no purpose other than a recovery tool.

    As someone who plays Banjo, Simon, Zelda, and Plant, it's nice to hear that they weren't mentioned in this list of characters who obviously need huge buffs.
    And as someone who plays Banjo, Simon, Zelda, and Plant, my fucking _soul_ hurts knowing that the reason you didn't mention them is that they're such low-tiers that no one would've given a shit if they got buffed anyway.

    Kirby needs a mobility buff, he's too slow to be able to pressure shields and it makes his disadvantage state borderline unplayable without spamming airdodges
    His Smash 4 stone, because that one was way better than Ult's

    i main inkling and i compleately agree with everything you said about inkling id love to see inkling with more options to kill as currently they get alot of complaints for how long roller lasts but its our best reliable kill source to adding more ways for inkling to kill but nerfing roller so its less reliable all the time is a great idea especially since roller can still be used great for air mobility and the 3rd jump inkling gets by jumping out of roller

    Great video, i'm happy that the you mentioned Mewtwo, but i think you forgot 1 little thing about, he's up-smash that move needs some fixes the hitbox is too much incosistent due to a little start up hit box on his and and sometime even if your opponent is near you confused by a down b you cant kill them because the first hit doesnt connect, this was the only thing i wanted to say since i main him, but the video you made is really great overall. This is by the way one of the reason why no one plays him, he's too inconsistent if you dont know him and have really a lot of experienxe with him

    Ridley.
    There are two big changes I would love to see. First of all, his weight. Make him heavier, the dude is gigantic but somehow is lighter than Samus. Secondly, a big change to how his UpB works. The thing feels horrible to use, ngl. The angles are super weird, and he would be a much better character if he was allowed to angle his UpB diagonally. Even if it comes of power being shaved off somewhere else.

      Why would you make Ridley heavier?
      He gets comboed to hell as is.
      His up B has the same problem as Wii Fit Trainer's forward air.
      They'd work fine if you could turn around in the air while continuing to move in the direction of choice, but you have to turn around before your jump or during double jump to face the right direction.

      @@kamikeserpentail3778 Honestly, the angles on his up + B aren't that bad once you get used to it. It's not as brainless as fox/falco and other similar up + Bs, but once you learn to use it you an deal with it. The worse part about up + B for Ridley is that it's slow, and tons of characters can punish it rather easily. I'd take any buff they wanted to give him, though, he's my main. His frame data is average at best, he has no out of shield option and bad kind of floaty air speed.
      He kind of gets destroyed by rushdown characters and outzoned easily by swordies and projectile users. He can bully a lot of characters off stage with the multiple jumps and angled projectile, but the issue is getting them there and being eaten alive by combos. I'm not sure what the fix for him is tbh.

      Ridley also needs a better Down-air. The diving stomp looks awkward and the move is pretty much useless. It would’ve made more sense if instead he swung his tail downward in a similar way to Roy’s Down-air and have the tip of his tail be the sweet spot that spikes.

      Ridley’s down air needs to be fixed too. One of the worst attacks in the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fox laser knocks you out of it.

      @@emanchi8403 Speaking of Fox’s lasers, why do Dedede’s Gordos get reflected so easily by weak attacks like jabs? It’s a HEAVY IRON BALL, it shouldn’t be getting knocked away so easily

    I main corrin and honestly i would give less landing lag for her side B too. Not spammable like in smash 4 but a little less laggy to make it safer on shield

      Her side B doesn’t need any changes, imo she doesn’t need any buff but if you had to buff her it would be to make her grab game better or give her a bigger reward for getting hits in midrange.

      She needs complete intangibility on her up B. She has the least recovery options out of anyone in the game and to have people just spike it whenever they want is BS. Other then that, I think she’s well balanced.

    These are the 5 in my opinion:
    1. Plant - eliminate double input animation
    2. Little Mac - regain side special after hit
    3. Mewtwo - remove tail hurtbox
    4. Olimar- make heavier
    5. Krool- blunderbust: point blank sweetspot for the swag kills

    3:14 charizard and ridley both have tail hitboxes, as shown in the images shown. they are however limited to 1 and 2 segments respectively, whereas mewtwo's is 3 segments going up to the thinnest part of his tail. i would suggest getting rid of the farthest out hurtbox and giving tail armor to the moves that use the tail

    Personally I would like to see micromanaging fighters played at the highest level. Fighters such as: Rosalina, Duckhunt etc.

    For my 5 characters I think need buffs are Luigi, Lucario, Both Pits, Dedede, and Piranha Plant. People may disagree with Luigi and I completely understand Luigi is already good as he is I won't deny that but before his 0 to death combo has found he got nerfed heavily from Smash 4 not being able to fly with down b is really sad. It really helped him with his recovery and terrible air speed. It also gimps characters from Smash 4 but I rarely ever go for it. So I at least want to see him get some improved air speed or perhaps run speed too. In some games like Super Luigi U he is faster than Mario which I think should've have been done in Smash. Next up is Lucario, his aura is stupid I won't deny that but he isn't actually that good. Mainly at lower percentages and a buff I would like to see is some of his moves has less end lag for more combo potential at low percents. I don't need to explain the buffs for both Pits (They were explained in the video). For Dedede he's just way too slow at anything. Sure he kills like super early but he is very easy to beat if you exploit his weaknesses. So I would say buff his speed just a little bit. Finally Piranha Plant, his moves are way too slow giving almost no combo potential outside of ptooie. Only ptooie make Plant decent otherwise he can just lose without ptooie. I would like to see less lag from plenty of his moves.

      I would let Luigi fly if they took away his bs invincibility lol. Dedede do be needing a buff to make gordo usable against spammy projectiles or give him better ways to approach because his air speed is the worst in the game. Make his fair hitbox match the animation, armor on dash attack would be dope, and his up smash is kinda trash ngl because it's both bad startup and endlag, not that strong and punishable on hit at low %

    I always hoped for minor buffs and fixes to Bayonetta, even though her kit started out absolutely clunky and garbage at the beginning of Ult she did get some really solid fixes throughout which made me at least have fun playing her again and accept her as a solid mid-tier. She's really just one or two more small things away from being back in high tier.
    I also would have loved minor buffs to some of the more fun agreed upon lower tiers like Zelda, or Incineroar. Or to the "lower tier" DLC fighters (though to be fair DLC rating is still widely speculated) like Banjo.

      @@resean2727 You can SDI out of jab? I've only seen that happen when hitting airborne enemies but that's true for all rapid jabs.

    For Inkling i don't think she really needs a buff as much as she needs people pushing her meta, she also has a lot of winning matchups against top tiers
    That aside if i HAD to buff one thing, it would be the BOO-YAH (up throw up air ).
    Just make the kill window larger so that the combo still works on most of the cast for longer.
    Buffing back throw is a good Idea though

      Inkling REALLY needs people pushing their meta, like I honestly just think people play them wrong. If people realized they aren't a rushdown character, and played them correctly I'm sure we'd actually see results.

      ​@@bowmain1577 And what Inkling is actually good at is outclassed hard by Cloud, Byleth, and Corrin. Why? Because their kit refuses to function and kill. Their side b is the worst tool in the game and Inkling has to depend on it to kill. What the fuck is the point of the ink gimmick if killing still sucks ass on an inked, their neutral tools suck, they barely have any combo potential to justify it.

    I would like to give my opinion on Mewtwo. Imo, Mewtwo is perfectly viable right now, and I consider him a mid-high tier if not just high tier.
    As a glass canon, Mewtwo's gimmick is probably one of the most extreme ones: having both light weight and heavy weight characters strengthes (Fast, good frame data and very good kill power), but in return he also has both light weight and heavy weight characters weaknesses (being big and easy to combo, yet light and easy to kill).
    All of the above lead into a bit of a mess. When you start to play Mewtwo, you usually struggle a lot with his weaknesses and can't make a good use to his strengthes. But the more you play, the more you learn how to play around the weaknesses.
    In addition, Mewtwo has a lot of tech that can be used to make him even better: B reversing, wave bouncing, teleport edge canceling, charge canceling, and what I like to call 'the sacred Mewtwo tech': footstool disable.
    I think Mewtwo players just don't use his techs enough. Most players won't expect these options, and it can make Mewtwo far more dangerous. Take WaDi for example. He is the best Mewtwo in the world, but he says himself he doesn't lab stuff at all. He is a great player, but could be so much better if he wanted to.
    So in conclusion, I think Mewtwo doesn't NEED buffs. Could he enjoy some? Absolutely. A few quality of life buffs I can think of is a more consistent Dair spike hitbox or a better scoop hitbox on upsmash, but those are just small bonuses, nothing necessary. And as much as I hate the tail hurtbox and the weight problems, I think they can be managed and played around with enough experience.

      I get what they were trying to do with having Mewtwo be as light as he is and having the tail hurtbox, but imo it is way overtuned. He’s one of the top 10 lightest characters in the game, and is even the same weight as Pikachu, which imo is kinda ridiculous. Additionally, his hurtbox is already quite large even without his tail, and it’s not like he’d be broken if his tail was more disjointed. I personally think a good middle ground would be that he can still take damage from getting hit in the tail, but damage taken from the tail hurtbox does not cause knockback since the tail is not his center of mass
      I think he’s quite a decent character and is possibly solo viable at a high level, but I think his weaknesses are far too easy to exploit at a top level.

      Also it doesn’t help that his OOS game is pretty weak, his disadvantage is terrible due to the aforementioned weight/tail as well as a super slow double jump, and his up smash sucks lol

      Agreed for the most part, but I legitimately think Mewtwo's tail needs a major fix. He losses many trades because of it, and he's already light enough to begin with. Only 30% of Mewtwo tail is disjointed in Ultimate, when in Smash 4 it was 60% disjointed. So now instead of being able to use M2 tail as a sword, like Lucina or Ike, his tail disjoint is similar to that of Toon Link, which is a insane nerf coming from Smash 4. Not only that but simply dashing away from your opponents now leaves Mewtwo's tail open to be hit, which means most M2 players have to have a different set of fundamentals than most other characters.
      I do agree that Mewtwo takes a insane amount of work, but many players are left asking if he's worth the work since other characters can accomplish similar things without the tail shenanigans/bad disadvantage.

      I mean maybe just fix the tail hitbox.
      I see mewtwo's dying to completely whiffed attacks for no good reason and even I feel bad.

    Bayonetta needs to become what she was intended: A character with weak neutral but GUARANTEED full combos once you win neutral. Balanced by being unable to kill from the top until higher % and the combos dealing damage to a point where she needs 3-4 combos to get a kill.
    Her problem on release in smash 4 was getting easy 0 to deaths from anywhere. Instead of nerfing that, they nerfed her ability to combo instead, which was pathetic.

      @@jmurray1110 I didn't understand what you tried to say. Her starters like heel slide and down tilt should have slow startup. Witch twist can remain relatively fast since it's very short ranged.
      The point is making her combos guaranteed once they start, like it was during her original release pre nerf. But apply a height limit so neither she or the opponent go above a certain point. This ensures she wouldn't get kills until 90-120% depending on enemy weight. Then just make sure combos are capped at 30% damage.

      Bayo still gets combos, shits a cutscene tbh. She just cant carry you to the top and kill u at 2% anymore lol. Also i personally find characters with weak neutral but strong punish game to be a boring archetype. No one wants to avoid getting hit at all for 7 minutes straight.

    I feel like one of the most unfortunate things about inkling is how powerful roller ended up being. You mentioned nerfing it slightly even though it's an important part of their kit, but in my opinion it never should've been like that in the first place. Its like this gimmicky kill move that's unreasonably fast and polarizing (especially for the lower level players that smash is mostly balanced around), and the worst part is it's not even faithful to how roller works in the games.
    Inkling could've been such a fun and well-rounded character, but I feel like they ended up centering their entire kit around a single boring move instead

    I know he's gotten buffed a lot, but I think they kinda missed the mark with Incineroar.
    My proposed buff would be to give him slightly increased ground and air speed while his Revenge is active.
    This would push the character more towards using its gimmick and get rewarded for it, while being a bit more difficult to get camped while under its effects.
    Also would like for Fair to get a bit less landing lag (like 2 frames) cause it extends his hurtbox a lot when landing and gets him grabbed/hit from really far.

    The one buff I'd like is more movespeed on incineroar. If you remember in smash 4 mewtwo was a low tier and instantly became high tier after they buffed his ground movespeed - because his combos worked better, he had a rushdown, etc. If incineroar was faster he'd easily be a high tier character.

    Maybe at lower levels of play inkling isn't the best but I think if that character got a substantial buff the player base would rip their hair out. I know a few top players (ESAM, Dabuz) don't think she's nuts anymore but you'll find most still have a very high opinion of her (Tweek especially). Fighting the best NA inkling, Colorando, made me feel like I was just waiting for him to mess up, which says a lot, since i'm a sheik main. I think Sheik is still better than inkling, but god inkling's neutral is insane, and really annoying particularly in that match up.

    YES YES YES. Love your take on my boy Mewtwo. I hate when people think that *just* increasing weight or removing tail hurtbox would be enough to make him "broken." Like even with those changes, his disadvantage would be rough. I love the idea of bringing his teleport intangibility up to as early as frame 4, that seems like it'd help a lot. More tumble off of side-B seems okay too, but I'm not sure it'd be necessary. Side-B already has so much unexplored potential.
    Thing about Mewtwo is, his offense/damage/combo game/killpower is honestly very strong--not super mega ultra broken top 3--but plenty strong enough that if his other issues were ironed out, it's possible he could take his offense as-is to majors and supers and win. Because of this, I'm not sure about increasing the size of neutral-B. Shadowball is already by far his best move, and it seems like a bad idea to concentrate too much power in one skill.
    My own take is to start by removing the damn tail hurtbox, increasing weight to medium/93+, and (as suggested in the video) bringing teleport's intangibility up to frame 4 or even frame 3. This is a *start*. You try these changes and see what people can do with him. I honestly believe he'd still need more (possibly at least one entire move redesign, to give him a more cohesive zoning/trapping kit) to make him a true top tier (that is, in the top 10 alongside broken assholes like Palu, Steve, Roy, etc). But I think with this stuff he'd at least be up around Samus, Yoshi, Inkling, Bowser. The high tiers where character specialists can legit do really well, but maaaybe not win majors without being piloted by gods like Leo. That isn't the worst place in the world for him, and with that I'd be pretty satisfied.

    For buffs I think Corrin could use some for sure, though I think they’re better than the others mentioned, I also think every Kirby character needs buffs, Marth could use some too, and Robin, and possibly a slightly better recovery for Chrom, just anything could work, DK could use some too, he’s just getting lower and lower on tier lists

    i think steve needs a couple buffs. first of all his up tilt and up air are too small, they should take up twice as much space to catch opponents in a combo much easier. second of all blocks break way too quickly. they either should have at least twice as much durability or not break over time. finally his mobility is not great. if they increased his jump height so he could reach a platform with one jump or gave him like zss mobility stats i think that would be fair. with all these changes implemented, steve would probably be a solid A tier character and help make the game more balanced

    I think Inklings up throw should have set knockback, ive been an inkling main for 3 years now and allowing her to have something constantly combo into up air to kill. This would make her fish for grabs more but it would also completely fix her killing problem.

    I'm telling you man, Inkling is NOT a rushdown character, in terms of characters I would compare the playstyle of inkling to the most, it would be Wii fit, another character you talked about here, both are defensive Hit and Run characters.
    Hit and Run characters generally use their good movement to weave around opponents, and confuse them into commiting to an option and hitting with stray hits and combos, great examples of this playstyle are Greninja and Captain Falcon. Inkling and Wii Fit, however, are bit different as they don't spend neutral trying to bait opponents so they can get a hit, instead they run away using projectiles to force opponents into bad spots for which they can punish.
    Inkling as of right now is not played very much, mostly because people attempt to play inkling like a rushdown character, but they can't kill, so they are just a lot worse then other options, like Roy, for example.

      I know it's not saying much but I was an elite smash ranked inkling main for the first year of ultimate, and I totally agree. The character looks like a rushdown, but if you play them you'll find they can't scrap and they can't whiff punish. Their frame data and hitboxes just aren't good enough. They're definitely a hit and run.
      The biggest problem with inkling is not that they can't kill, it's their middling advantage state and the weak disadvantage state. The ink mechanic just isn't that strong despite how it looks. Look at inkling nair. It does 7% but with max ink it's 10.5% (1.5X). On the other hand Captain Falcon's nair does 10% base and Peach can do like 15% with float. Remember that's MAX ink. The opponent will not be in that state all the time.
      For the disadvantage state, their air speed is decently fast but their air acceleration is mid, so they get juggled super easily. They have small hitboxes, so once you're up in the air almost the only thing you can do is go to ledge or try to air dodge down. If you try to mix up your drift most characters have the speed and hitboxes to catch you. Inkling is still lower HIGH TIER, so they don't really need buffs but maybe buff ink multiplier and nerf ink capacity.

    True she has a very high skill ceiling, but she just needs more damage and kill power.
    She can throw out a precise 12-hit combo and only deal 40 damage, meanwhile a good Roy, Fox, whoever might be able to DI out of the combo and punish for the same damage in 3-4 hits. And (finally) when she gets them into high percents, she struggles to finish the kill.
    I love playing her, but those two reasons really hurt her, even/especially competitively, where the players HAVE the skill to bring out her best.

    I def agree with your list, those all seem like reasonable buffs to characters that can use some more love. I would like to see dedede get some buffs, the two changes I would like to see/think would be cool would be taking away the opponents ability to reflect gordo...just let it be like a normal projectile that you can clang with or reflect with an actual reflector. The other buff would be to his inhale. Give Dedede the ability to aim his reflect, similar to k rool with the blunderbuss, but letting it apply to any reflect, not just gordo

    Some of the buffs you gave Inkling is understandable, but my wish for them is to make them having an easier time killing.
    There are so many times inkling just is not able to take the stock, leading all the to 180-210% before the kill.
    Booyah is too wonky with Ink and Roller is too predictable, even in adv stage.
    One thing to fix this could be to decrease the lag of UThrow and decreasing the Knockback growth, allowing bigger frame window for the Booyah to connect, even if the enemy is fully inked.
    Roller can be "buffed" by giving it faster ending lag and starting frame and higher base knockback, but in exchange for lower knockback growth on bury so they can mash out of it faster (making the move much faster overrall for the game instead of being a stiff move). Having a high base Knockback would allow inkling to get something out of the roller at 0%, but having a low knockback growth allows the high % to escape earlier than how it is now.
    I also feel DTilt should be reworked into a "combo tool" (like how the patch of Dr Marios DTilt is now a Combo move than before) with bigger hitboxes to allow easier 2frames aswell.
    Now balanced is done properly, you can follow up with an aerial for a potential kill at high % or a nice combo game at low%, or follow up if you read their airdodge, while it also allows easier edgeguarding.
    Also, make DAir come out faster and end faster. Its so slow and weak compared to other spikes in the game with long endlag ontop of it.

    Sephiroth needs wing at 50% or 90 weight.
    Marth needs respected. I've seen his sword take damage. Canceling neutral b would be cool.
    Sheik needs less required crack to play well or at least Pikachu weight.
    Metaknight needs to be able to act out of at least one special move.
    Ridley needs another 10-20 weight and some Bowser armor.
    Ganondorf needs redesigned beyond a sword.

    They need to overhaul zelda. In my opinion, phantom is the only reason she isn't bottom 5. Lightning kicks need to auto cancel when buffered and be more positive on hit. Nair need to come out a lot earlier, hit grounded opponents when buffered, be safer on shield, launch opponents in a consistent direction, and actually use auto link angles. Up air needs to be faster. F tilt needs to be faster. Down tilt needs to do anything, up b shouldn't have a sour spot or have a smaller di modifier. Side b should be just as strong at point blank as it is a max distance and shouldn't have a sour spot. Up smash needs a launcher hit box and needs to reach battlefield platforms. Zelda needs much higher air speed.

    I know this is personal favoritism, but I would give Dedede a bit more air mobility and make it so the gordos take more than a goddamn 2% damage hit to deflect, I think the only attacks that can't deflect gordos are Fox lasers and Bowser/Charizard's fire breaths as well as some rapid jabs. When Mario's goddamn fireballs can deflect a gordo, we have a problem, so I would bum up the deflect threshold to 7% to beat Mario's fireballs

    Bayo - she's just slow and weak. You could make her a proper glass cannon by buffing kill power, but I'd prefer to just speed her up a bit so she can fend off rushdowns who make up a lot of her -2 matchups (wolf, aegis, pika) a bit better. Make dtilt and uptilt 1 frame faster, reduce special lag by 50% - because the SDI multiplier on up b is so high, good players will always pop out and can often punish her for using her main play style. Make witch time 1 frame faster. It's way way worse than seph's it should be at least as fast.

    I’d love to see a thing for Bowser down tilt mostly because it’s just worse f tilt in every way, maybe an increased trip rate on hit 2

    Very late but why not, I never mentioned the Down-b change you proposed. I don't see it as needed even in compensation for all the things mentioned above, simply because it is not "a shield in the air" . Not only does it not server as 360 protection at full size but can't be canceled out of. And unless it breaks you don't have frame advantage to get a punish or return to neutral. As where a shield's main use is to block and punish, or at the very least reset neutral after blocking a move. Assuming the character may have an OOS game which Pit does.

    I think overall he’s in a good position, but all I wanted to see was Yoshi get his up tilt hitbox fixed, to be consistent with previous titles. Instead of missing mid/small targets right in front of him, despite the animation suggesting otherwise.

    Being an Inkling main, there is a couple more buff I would like to suggest. That way it will truly make the roller trade-off worth it.
    They really need to fix that stupid hitbox on the Splat Bomb. You see, if you look on Ultimate Frame Data, you'll notice the hitbox doesn't cover the entire bomb, so it results in this weird, inconsistent way the bomb launches opponents. Sometimes it launches them as intended, other times it launches them in the complete opposite direction. Like if you throw it's to the right, it will launch them to the left half the time. And there's no real way to predict it, it happens seemingly randomly, but I think it just has something to do with the hit detection not activating until the sublime has already clipped halfway through the opponent before they touch the hitbox, and if they are already moving in the opposite direction in which it is thrown, well, use your imagination. Lol
    Seriously though, there have been several times when I try to snipe someone off stage, but the bomb ends up launching them toward the stage rather than away from it so I end up accidentally helping them, and it drives me crazy. This BS has costed me so many games. This also screws over a lot of my attempts at splat bomb combos. Oh, but the moment I try to anticipate it launching the opponent incorrectly, THEN it decides to work properly! Smh. It's no big deal at the end of the day, but it's definitely something that gets on my nerves.
    So, to fix this, they should simply increase the hitbox size to where it is around the corners of the splat bomb, so the hitbox detection is more consistent.
    Also, one more buff they could do, they can maybe give up throw just a tiny bit more hit-stun to make Booyah work at a larger percentage range. Nothing crazy, just enough to where you don't have to be frame perfect half the time.

    Always thought about a unique Lucario change. His aura sphere charge having a hit box is fun and unique. But when he fully charges it up, you can’t utilize those combos as he stores the charge until you release it.
    Hard to explain, but what if, even at full charge, when you hit neutral b, he still held out the charge hitbox before you shot it?
