@@alexanderanfilatov4457hey, I’ve been a fan since the mid 90’s as well, and Dookie, Insomniac, and ALL their albums hold a very special place in my heart, but I think these last few songs have been phenomenal. To me, it sounds like an older, wiser, more mature Green Day, but it still feels true to the roots of three guys from the bay getting together in high school to form a punk rock band. FOAM was maybe their low point musically, and that’s ok to admit, but I can’t hear these new songs and not argue that they are back in top shape once again, and arguably stronger than ever.
Found Green Day as a 7 year old and became obsessed. They got me into songwriting, I already sang. Now I’m 27, I still love them, I still sing and write, and I’m about to be a mother ❤️ I’ll make sure to bring my daughter up on Green Day! 🎸
I remember when Dookie came out on the market. I was a 14 years old rebel child that was trying to look and act like the guys from Green Day. And I still love them until this day! Will try to get a ticket for their show in London next year!
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t the biggest fan of The American Dream Is Killing Me, (maybe it will grow on me), but after hearing this now I am excited! Reminded me of State of Shock, and for me this is the Green Day that I personally love!

@@woods009 lmao you could not be more wrong than this... nimrod sold over 7-8 million copies worldwide, which is more than the best selling albums of most punk/pop punk bands, it produced one of their biggest superhit single good riddance, and singles like redundant and hitchin a ride did decent, nice guys finish last did not bad too, where exactly does the flop lie? It started off slow in the charts and sales in its first few weeks/month but it sold very well in the end staying in billboard chart for almost 80 weeks, the only other green day albums with more weeks on charts are dookie and american idiot, so you're just completely wrong....and warning is a flop only in comparison to green day's standard and their previous albums prior to that, but again it sold 3-4 million copies which is again not bad considering they completely changed sound, lyrics, direction, style and everything for that album The green day albums that can be called flops are dos, tre, rev rad(arugable) and fomaf And you saying green day was only relevant in 2000s and for controversies is an absolute ridiculous statement, but judging by the fact that you feel like someone has to hit the billboard song charts to be considered good or successful tells everything about you...basket case, longview, when i come around, brain stew etc all these did not hit the billboard hot 100 charts too but still they were huge songs And guess what there are also many bands/artists like led zeppelin, black Sabbath, iron maiden ,etc who has not had a single song on billboard songs chart but they're still huge and famous, you cannot judge a rock/metal song with the billboard charts, that's just stupid....green day only made its cut in billboard hot 100 charts in 2004, nothing before, so does that mean basket case, brain stew were flop songs? Absolutely not... You need to learn alot more

Stuck with me is.
First the American Dream is Killing Me, and now Look Ma. The songs are getting better. I’m excited for Saviors
Green Day is Green Day again

I gotta say, this is one of my favorite Green Day songs so far. Fast and catchy formula at its best. The lyrics are great too. I really love it!
Sounds sick, not gonna lie, it has that iconic Green Day sound as always. Great job!
I got a feeling that the album will be a hit because of the things that are happening today
We took our daughters to a Z Rock Christmas show at MSG back in the 90s and Green Day performed a couple of their hits. Just a terrific band.
Amazing song! I'm so excited for Green Day's new album! ❤
How considerate of Green Day to release a song about me! 😁 Gotta say, the two new tracks sound really great! This feels like a return to form for the band. Keep rocking Billie, Mike and Tre!
Quiero llorar!!
Igual me pasó 🎉
If someone came out and said this was a cut from Dookie, I’d believe it. Absolutely pumped for Saviors.
yeah its got that stupid silly vibe really a breath of fresh air
Green Day ages like a fine wine, better with age and talent. Billie looks so good❤
Been a fan since December 93'. I was 11.
Had this song on repeat today. One of my favorite songs you dudes have ever released.
I love the Ramones vibes. That chorus coming out of the bridge has massive intensity. Rob Cavallo is a production wizard. Glad y'all brought this one back to the ground level.
🇺🇸🤠🕺
Yeah dude! I’m 39 and have been a huge fan all my life. The last two albums were so so…..
This is really good. Sounds like dookie fucked nimrod and had a kid haha. Def the most excited I’ve been for a GD album in a long time🤘
dude really? their old b side million times better :(
@@alexanderanfilatov4457hey, I’ve been a fan since the mid 90’s as well, and Dookie, Insomniac, and ALL their albums hold a very special place in my heart, but I think these last few songs have been phenomenal.
Haha me too but I was 22 at the time, dancing in bars to these guys. Wow I'm old!
This feels like the first time in forever that Mike sings backup vocals. I don't think I've ever seen a music video that highlights his singing.
Found Green Day as a 7 year old and became obsessed. They got me into songwriting, I already sang. Now I’m 27, I still love them, I still sing and write, and I’m about to be a mother ❤️ I’ll make sure to bring my daughter up on Green Day! 🎸
@BilllieJoeArmstrong gtfoh fake billie
Wise decision. I brought my son up on GreenDay. He's 21 now.
I remember when Dookie came out on the market. I was a 14 years old rebel child that was trying to look and act like the guys from Green Day. And I still love them until this day! Will try to get a ticket for their show in London next year!
One one the best green day bass lines in recent times!
I was thinking the same thing mikes bass needs to be more prominent like dookie insomniac nimrod
日本から応援してます!GREEN DAY最高!💚
Short and sweet. I sense some Ramones in there. I can Dig it. And I will always love this band. I've been a fan since '92. It's been a fun ride 🍻
I love it, I’m 13 and a new fan and I’m glad I found good music like this
This sounds about right. :D
Listen to insomniac, dookie, and nimrod. Their best albums
Their whole discography is totally worth looking into, welcome to the Green Day family! 😁
@@toddpacker4683faaacts 🔥🔥
@@toddpacker4683 American idiot is a masterpiece too
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t the biggest fan of The American Dream Is Killing Me, (maybe it will grow on me), but after hearing this now I am excited! Reminded me of State of Shock, and for me this is the Green Day that I personally love!
Another song that barely lasts two minutes. This is probably going to be their most upbeat, punky, rocking album since Dookie.
Ojalá que Saviors sea un gran álbum! Aguante Green Day 💚
Holy shit, Greenday went back to their classic sound. Bless up. This song is fucking awesome!
Dang! This is a really good sound for the band!
It's a little like all of their music put together, but also like classic Green Day at the same time. Definitely on par with their best stuff!!!
My favorite band ever! ❤🔥
That dude that got pushed in a wheelchair @0:45 reminds me of the Basket Case music video when Tre Cool gets pushed in a wheelchair to his drum set in the psych ward lol.
Oh yeah!
Man ALL the good bands are releasing new music. Green day, Sum 41, Blink 182, and the fuckin BEATLES man. What a time to be alive
my thoughts exactly
THIS IS THE GREEN DAY OF THE 90s! WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN!?!
Ojalá siga Green Day, siempre lo apoyaremos, espero que vengan a México algún día, ahora que sacaron nuevo álbum, sii, vamos, arriba Green Day, me sorprende como Billie Joe, sigue pareciendo tan joven, nos pasan los años en él ❤❤
So much better than the first single! Now I'm excited!
Damn! I didn't expect such a banger from modern Green Day!
This new album is gonna be amazing!💚💚
yeah!!!
I’ve been a fan since I was 11 and now I’m 40. I caught Billie Joe’s tie in 2004 when he threw it into the crowd at the American Idiot tour & still have it. Can’t wait to see Green Day next summer!
Billy still lookin' the same as he was decades ago.
And Greenday still sounding as good as it was.
2:05 long... Very retro. lol. I love this. Wasn't a fan of 'The American Dream Is Killing Me' but this is classic Green Day.
Sounds like a song that should be on Kerplunk. Love it!!!!
To me this song would fit better on Insomniac, Nimrod, American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown
@@jasonmartinez5116 It sounds most like a Nimrod song to me.
I have loved green day since 15/16 years old x I'm 48 week and still rocking it x i will show all my African friends in Gambia in April x green day are world wide beyond belief x love you so so much ❤❤❤
I can never get bored of these guys music. Ever since early 90s
It’s crazy that soon Green Day will be considered “classic rock”. I’m 38 been listening to Green Day since 91 and while I’m not a huge fan of them after nimrod but this song is really good and it’s so much more like the early days and I really dig it. They just got too political in mid 2000s for me so I didn’t really listen to them for some time but I think this new stuff is just what I love from them
Been a die-hard Green Day fan for almost half my life and it makes me really happy to see that they still after over 30 years on the scene makes new original music that also sound really good
A back to basics album is absolutely desired and this checks the boxes! Love seeing Green Day, Blink 182 and Sum 41 releasing albums of this caliber 30 years in 🔥🔥🔥
Im feeling some "older" green day vibes from this one... freaking rad
相当ぶりにGreen Dayを聴いたけど、初期の懐かしい雰囲気を思い出させてくれる曲だね
Very Good😀
Yep. Can't wait to listen to this on loop for weeks. So proud of these guys. GD forever.
Thank god! Green Day is coming back!!!
Im with Green Day since day one! In love with the band and awesomeness ❤
Green Day are back! What a great sound this song has! :)

Classic 90's Green Day is back!
I've been waiting for greenday to sound like greenday again for sooooooo long!!!
This warms my heart!
this feels like a B-side from SHENANIGANS. They reference Clash songs, the ska movement, Social D, and The Ramones all in 1 song.
I'm 13 and ive been listening to green day since i was 9, and i am now addicted. This song reminds me of their older stuff and i can imagine this on nimrod or warning
This sound like a really old stuff Green Day song! Love you so much, guys! I hear Green Day since i have 6 years old! Return to Argentina, guys! We miss you a lot!!!
Loving the new tracks so far. Can’t wait for the full album! 🤘🤘🤘
Nimrod and Warning vibes. Im loving how this album is shaping up, here's to hoping we get more bangers.
where exactly did u hear the warning vibe lol? 💀
@@andriyyurchyna8195 I'd say it's mostly in the harmonies/call-response segment. Definitely reminded me of that album.
@@woods009 Yeah that too.
It started off slow in the charts and sales in its first few weeks/month but it sold very well in the end staying in billboard chart for almost 80 weeks, the only other green day albums with more weeks on charts are dookie and american idiot, so you're just completely wrong....and warning is a flop only in comparison to green day's standard and their previous albums prior to that, but again it sold 3-4 million copies which is again not bad considering they completely changed sound, lyrics, direction, style and everything for that album
The green day albums that can be called flops are dos, tre, rev rad(arugable) and fomaf
And you saying green day was only relevant in 2000s and for controversies is an absolute ridiculous statement, but judging by the fact that you feel like someone has to hit the billboard song charts to be considered good or successful tells everything about you...basket case, longview, when i come around, brain stew etc all these did not hit the billboard hot 100 charts too but still they were huge songs And guess what there are also many bands/artists like led zeppelin, black Sabbath, iron maiden ,etc who has not had a single song on billboard songs chart but they're still huge and famous, you cannot judge a rock/metal song with the billboard charts, that's just stupid....green day only made its cut in billboard hot 100 charts in 2004, nothing before, so does that mean basket case, brain stew were flop songs? Absolutely not...
You need to learn alot more
I was in Tech School at Keesler Air Force Base in 1994 when I first heard Green Day. I loved these guys from the first song. 2023 and here they are still making great music.
THIS IS THE REAL MEANING OF ROCK AND ROLL!! 🎸🎸
Gracias Green Day por ser parte de mi vida desde los 7 años, los voy a ver por primera vez en el nuevo tour!
Gracias Green Day por ser parte de mi vida desde los 7 años, los voy a ver por primera vez en el nuevo tour!
Wow! I NEVER thought they'd go back to the band that got me into punk
i’m seeing you guys in seattle next year and i can’t wait! you guys are one of my favorite bands and i’m so excited for the concert!
Me too! Going to seattle show!
This was suggested to me while listening to the song “Dupe - Balling” 😅😅
Watching this, makes me realize that Billie really hasn't changed since 94. He literally makes the same facial expressions, it's crazy.
