How closely would you recommend following their official size guide? I'm 5'9 and 33 inch waist, which puts me right between the size 2 and 3 range, height wise. But from my research online, size 3 for someone 5'9 sounds absurd, so I'm between size 1 and 2. I'm leaning towards 2, especially since size 1 has a 29 inch waist, which seems a lot smaller, but what would you say?
I actually have this grey pair in size 2 and another black pair in size 3. And they fit the same somehow. I ordered the black pair in size 2 originally and thought it would fit the same as the grey pair I already have but the crotch somehow wasn't deep enough. I had to exchange it to a size 3 instead. I'd highly recommend you read the measurements to make sure the specific style you are getting fits. Generally speaking, a size 2 should work for you.

It's actually super easy! Machine wash cool and line dry. Never tumble dry

I just fold them and put on the shelf in my closet. Don't you worry, they are made of 100% polyester. That's why the pleats can hold their shapes.
