    Great job! at first I thought you were only replacing the crepe sole, not a full sole! I cringed at first until I saw what you were doing. this inspires me to try this on some of my older shoes and turn them into more barefoot-friendly shoes.

      Thank you! Yes, as long as the uppers are in good condition resoling is often possible. Go have fun with it!

    Good on you! Doing the same with my Duckfeet shoes, switching from crepe to Vibram, not sure which one yet - I’ll leave that job to the cobbler though.

    Not bad. How's the comfort? Are they as comfortable as when they had the original crepe soles?

      Thanks! I wouldn't say they are as comfortable because the crepe sole is really a shock absorber, but they feel fine as many other pair of shoes I have. A foam layer could be added for extra comfort if one think it's not as soft when walking.
