I wouldn't even consider trading my 87 K5 Blazer for a brand new four-wheel drive. most new vehicles don't last until the warranty is up,mine has over 300,000 miles on a 350 TBI not fast at all.But, probably the most reliable vehicle I've ever had in my 30+ years of driving.

​@@ObsidiaBeast did you see the rear-pasdenger wheel liner rip off? I have a Raptor and off-road the crap out of it. This red truck is not fine after that one. Alignment is probably tweaked, body panels shifted, and if none of the suspension components broke/blew out then he just added 150k miles worth of wear to them. If he did that 2-3 more times, then something would snap.

I did it in my 99 rally ranger all the time. Only upgrades it gad was bilstien shocks in the front and sway bar delete and monroe sensa trac coil overs in the rear, never had a problem

When I was in high school I would take my Dad's 72 Chevy K20 truck to an old railroad crossing on a gravel road and hit it at about 80 MPH. I'd swear we caught 4 to 5 feet of air on that jump, and it was a harsh, harsh landing. I think we straightened the leaf springs on it smacking the bump stops. That was when trucks were trucks, though.

That noise you hear was the back axle hitting the frame. If you are going to fly your truck like this get a king bump stop kit before you dent the shit out of the frame. Don't just use it abuse it. I've never understood why people get sport packages on trucks and cars just to have it and never use it. If you're going to drive it like an old lady, get the base model. Dont just use. it abuse it. Put the lockers on , put it in off-road mode, and turn off the traction control. After all, it's built for the baja, not the slow lane.

This is what happens when you let go of the gas before the hump, you need to go medium speed and then hit the gas late so your truck lands more even instead of taking a slow nose dive.
