Tubbs calls Crockett and tries to tell him something but static on the phone line blocks out what he's saying, finally Tubbs screams that Danny Blyth doesn't exist, just as Lois (now not wearing a wig and is wearing the high school jacket) stabs him in the back, but Crockett manages to crawl away to where he can get his ankle gun and shoot Lois down.

The ending of this episode was a great twist. And this shot look like it could be a movie poster if they’d based that movie off this episode. 3:39 Great acting from Don Johnson and Iman. But her character was straight nuts.

The plot bears similarities with the film Sea of Love filmed about 7 months later (May to September of '88). In that story Al Pacino is the investigating cop going undercover on multiple dates to discover the killer.
