No, the clicking noise you hear in all vehicles is the physical flipping of a relay. It is a little arm being moved by an electro-magnet. Thus it is impossible to increase or decrease its volume. The noise will come from relays in the fuse box located under the dash I believe.
@@MaketoMake815 Untrue, The clicking of the turn signals comes from a speaker embedded in the gauge cluster. if you have your blinker on and get a notification message on your dash it will override the clicking.
@@justinstuder1649 yes but now I forget. I think pressing in the buttons again or restarting the car…there’s definitely a way to do it….let me see if I can remember.
SYNC with Touchscreen System Reset The system has a System Reset feature that can be performed if the function of a SYNC feature is lost. This reset is intended to restore functionality and will not erase any information previously stored in the system (such as paired devices, phonebook, call history, text messages, or user settings). To perform a System Reset, press and hold the Seek Up (>>) button while pressing and holding the Radio Power button. After approximately 5 seconds the screen will go black. Allow 1-2 minutes for the system reset to complete. You may then resume using the SYNC system. I don’t recall if that’s the method but worth a try. Also you can try using the voice command button. Pretty sure it has to do with using the steering wheel controls somehow. Wish I could be more help.
I changed the image on the radio to my wife and I from our wedding. You need to save the image on a thumb drive and download it from the USB option. We have a 2011 Explorer.
My ranger has one on sync 2 so yes at least in theory, however you'll probably have to change your vehicle config. Just take the APIM out and see if it's got a camera input connection.
You sir are AWESOME!!! Thank you
THANK YOU. My uncalibrated screen was driving me nuts.
Learnt something new today. Thank you 👏🏼👌🏼
Thank you very much!!!
You're welcome!
How can you keep one of the colors for background
Thanks I'll have a good look. I'd like to make the turn indicators tick a little louder.. if they are software controlled, are they?
I don't think you can alter the volume of them

Not that I've seen or aware of
@@SYDiagnostics As often as I hear that it flips upside down, being able to flip it in the software should be a thing.

Did you find a fix for this? I quite literally just did the same thing 🤦♂️

Might be pressing the ok button on the steering wheel for the right side? Shoot I’m sorry if I remember I’ll post.
