Did you know that this was the 1st track Pac recorded after being released from jail, while being shot shortly before! The energy he brought on the mic was crazy ....in a good and bad way
"5 shots couldn't stop me, I took'm and smiled."
2Pac was shot in first time in 94. He recorded this Song in 95. So no shortly before
No shit Sherlock..DUH
@@dramacydal7204 True. But this was the first song he recorded after being out on bail
1)shot 5 times at quad studios.
2)then sentence to prison for 1.5 years.
3) bad boys release "who shot you" while tupac was in prison.
Suge bails tupac and signs to death row. Oct 12, 1995
Ambitions of a ridah is recorded
Oct 13 1995
I don't see this as a gangster song, it's a booster of self esteem, self confidence, self worth, etc... that's why I love Pac, he will live forever ... "Lace em with lyrics that's legendary, musical mercenary"
You nailed it!
💯
Well said ❤
💯💯
Exactly especially coming from a woman's perspective you are on point
This was Pac first song when he got out of jail! He got off the plane, Daz picked him up from the Airport,
took him to the studio, Pac got in the booth(Song already written in jail) spit this rhyme , in one take!
Man he went in
@@dunsonhouse react to trading war stories, featuring the Outlaws.
He actually didnt write this song in jail. In many interviews he said he couldnt write anything in jail cuz jail tales away your spirit. He just read books like crazy and plotted his return. All his songs that he wrote was pure adrenaline. He would write in the booth as the beat played and many people attest to this including Dr. Dre & Snoop. So when Ambitionz as A Ridah beat came on, he raced to the booth and wrote it all out in 15 minutes. He would let the beat play 2-3 times max to write his thoughts out and then he would deliver the vocal performances in 2 takes. So engineers and people thought he was writing out a song he mustve always had but he would put references in from that day and they would be shocked as there was no possible way he couldve wrote songs beforehand while putting in references and conversations from that day. Dude was a genius.
@@dunsonhouse Yeah he did and had the whole east coast on notice especially Biggie & Bad Boy. Pac came with some real shit and he was not playing around.
“When I die, I wanna be a living legend.” Tupac, No More Pain
this is nearly 30 years old and STILL goes hard. Hes the greatest of all time and will never lose the crown
2pac Is the GOAT of RAP
💯💯💯
Great....... RIP PAC
Real shit 😊
I’m from that era when Pac was on a warpath, I’m 80’s baby and it brings me much joy seeing these young men giving Pac his flowers
This album dropped and changed it all. I was a teen in Hawaii and this was the biggest thing out.
As a born and bred California resident we were outing our culture changing albums back then. Imagine how WE felt when shit like this and the chronic dropped. Shit was wild
I was 18, I was working at a grocery store. My co worker went and bought the tape. I left at 2 and he was coming in at 2. I remember asking him in the parking lot if it was good an he just told me I wouldnt believe how good it was. Seems like yesterday
Every artist that ever worked with Pac always said the same thing about him. They never seen anything like it. He wrote so quick that if you didn’t keep up he would leave you off the song and put the next man in. Recorded at least 3 songs a day. Biggest work ethic and didn’t waste any time in the studio
Absolutely timeless song from a timeless album from a timeless artist. Pac is the GOAT. If you know you know.
Thank you for appreciating the greatness of Pac's music. It's always amazing to see others who recognize his talent.
Picture me rolling , can't c me , me against the world , do for love , and pain... i don't know which one I want u to start from but they the greatest hit of pac
Against all odds
@@kennethcook3127 Hail Mary Me & my Girlfriend, Never had a friend like me, High Til I die,God bless the Dead.
I was a pre-teen when this album dropped. This shit was CRAZY when it came on. So this is before streaming & leaks so when we got albums, it was sacred. I’ll never forget us being in a car and put this in and this started the album. We were all in SHOCK at how incredible he set it off. This man had gotten better in jail! Imagine the rape charges, the shooting, the media and the JUDGE putting an APB out on Tupac and basically hinting that the shooting was staged to avoid his sentencing the next day- ALL THAT. And then him being abandoned in prison for over a year and people throwing shots at him. Suge bails him out and he dropped the hardest double album ever! It was incredible. And this intro was just amazing. People were doing skits back then to open the album- this man got right to it! U put the cd in and THIS SHIT came on. I’ll never forget that feeling hearing this in the car. Man, yall will never know how it FELT that year with Tupac killing everything! He had the streets, the girls, the revolutionaries, the intellectuals- everybody! Dude was an absolute genius. An angry genius lol. That double album was too damn good.
End it ended up going diamond
Imagine hearing this when it first came out 🤯
Bumpin this album in the whip through a CD or cassette, at the crib with the vinyl. Times were different. No streaming, having to go out of your way to go down the record shop and buy the album. No internet or texting. Discussing and listening to the music with your crew together in person. Man wish I could go back for a day
Yes this was crazy when I first heard it 🔥🔥🔥
Trust me when this song first dropped the industry was shook! Pac was not playin!
I got this cd the day it came out. Stayed in my changer for months.
@@Mr.International82Facts 💯💯💯
People really believe this is your first time listening to 2pac? This YT game is easier than I thought.
Easiest way to make money
Fact
Dem bwoiz ah Fraud 😅
The fact that you brought up RIP Earl Simmons with Pac, you got a sub. X and Pac them dudes 💪🏿💪🏿
Appreciate you family thanks for the comment
@@dunsonhouse no doubt
@@dunsonhouse always willing to add to the algorithm for young brothers
Facts pac n x had the industry n these rap niggaz shook
And X was the only that could go against pac cuz they both got a crazy mind set ( bishop and Tommy) both got to much energy and passion on everything they done
Man I was 13 years old when homie passed, but dude was THA SHIT!!!! my favorite artist to this day…
For me one of the best if not the best song from Pac
This version was DEFINITELY on the Radio. It was the only version that he made for it. That was the era where they would play the curses backwards, so obviously, there was a LOT of that done for this Song.
Those backwards curses low key made the songs more intense! Lol amazing era. We would love the backwards curses lol.
Y'all doin' the same thing EVERYONE did when they 1st heard it! He was definitely shirt off, bouncing to the beat, and spitting all over the mic!😂 Gotta love it! Keep it up fellas, "Game peeps game."
Bro, you will never understand the vibe this had back then. This had everyone on some other type shit. You right cuz DMX would cause the same vibe. This era was just different
Yes Dudes, more 2PAC plz
✊🏽
Tupac didht "switch elements". He was all those things at once way before this song and all the way up until his death.
That's what set Tupac apart from all other rappers. He came hard right off the jump. He didn't waste time. He got to it right away!
Facts
2Pac a ballad of a dead soldier
Pac concept of , Ridah (street), Marauder (military) and Raider (football) all roll into one. Is genius! Plus the flow and cadence on top of hook all great. Shout to Daz who use the Pee Herman sample that was knocking!
This song alone proves Tupac is the GOAT!
2pac No More Pain produced by Devante from Jodeci!
Possibly the most iconic 90's rap song ever created. Often imitated, but never matched.
His first single 'Trapped' is still some of the hardest shit in the genre.
Definitely got to listen to it
Then try Strictly for My Ni**az 😳
I remember hearing this track when it first came out official, when pac was alive. I thought it was off da Hook that time, and hearing it know brings bk memories of uni fresher clubbing days. I heard he did a whole album in 7 days, Working night and day. 🤪🤪💯💯🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇰🇵🇰🖤🖤
I bought the double cassette the week it came out to this day nothing has ever came close to this
The real GOAT P👑💚
Heartz of Men, Staring at the world through my rearview, Unconditional Love, & They don't give a fuck about us PleasePleasePlease 😊❤
2pac would write a whole song like in 5 mins. Go into the booth and lay it down. Whole song did less then 30 mins
Wrote that whole album and had it done in 7 days
Tupac the best. ❤❤❤
This and all eyes on me were my favorite pac songs but he has so many great songs
To this very day this song is still HARD. This song will get you hyped as fuck.....FACTS!!!!!
Heartz Of Men definitely one of my favorite Pac tracks DJ Quik killed the beat🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is the G.O.A.T!!! This man has so much heat in his arsenal. Check out Holla at Me ang Bomb 1st. Energy is unmatched!!!
That's pac baby..
Their will never be another... my favorite rapper ever
This takes me back to high school football. This was the song before we went out on the field. Even the coaches would get pumped up. 😂
I'm on a meal-ticker mission... damn bro, too good.
Yo y’all need to hit all eyes on me! Y’all crazy bruh, keep up the great reactions!
I refuse to believe there is anyone in this world that has not heard this absolute banger

Please react " CANT C ME" TUPAC
He did this double disc album in 2 weeks this song was the 2nd song he after getting out of prison he told Daz play that back slow it down than wrote it in 10 minutes recorded it first take.. that’s legendary
I still remember the day...my friend calling me in the morning while I was eating cereal and about to run off to school, saying "I think 2pac is dead". RIP the GOAT
When I was in high school, we used to bump this joint in the locker room everyday during football season! 💪🏾
Great reaction 💯 yoooo keep that Pac coming react to TUPAC
LIL HOMIES
LIFE SO HARD
WAR GAMES (DEATHROW VERSION)
Ambition is the definition of hip hop
One of my favorite pac songs
All time LEGENDARY TUPAC ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ never again will there be another like him. R.I.P. PAC you are loved, you are missed.
This was the first Record I bought with my own Money. Changed me forever
I was in Germany when this song came out and it was pure heat!
2pac to live and die in la
The first song everyone heard when he came out of jail and was w death row. Words can't describe how hard that double disc was. It's why so many rappers had double disc cds in the late 90s. Even Big had to try it
" Me syke and bogart wrap up the same night" thats Pac giving shout to his comrades, Syke an ex Crip member turned rapper, Bogart piru blood turned bodyguard for deathrow. Pac that type of dude
We used stake to this. Had floor packed❤❤❤
GOAT
Y'all just reminded me how old i am even tho y'all look older
song was sampled from joski love - pee wee dance, came out in the mid 80's
pac was evolving into a 2000s rapper on a huge level, easily would have rapped with em and 50. He was getting more lyrical “moving you stupid b’s, this is telekinesis” “thats what im screaming as they drill me” “the game sharper than a mfin straight razor” “two rottweilers by my bed, i feed em lead” “who would have figured all i needed was a hair trigga semi automatic just to scare niggas”. He wrote songs fast but he was also changing his style from early 90s to late 90’s. These are the blueprints to lil wayne and 50 cent when they were learning to rap. Jay z and wayne have both been rapping for 20+ years. 2Pac’s first song with digital underground came out in 1991 and he died in 1996. Imagine a rapper coming out in 2018 and dying in 2023. That was 2pac’s career and this is the impact he left behind. He would have been shot in 2020 and in prison throughout 2022. He would have also been in a movie or television in 2018,2019,2020,2021,2023 AND 2024. Thats why they would say “2pac is white people/mainstream famous” Most rappers today havent done half the work as Pac in twice the time.
Pac and dmx are the booster and energy for the whole Baltimore state or city the Baltimore creating two heavy hitter and greatest rapper of all time
First video I’m about to watch on this channel but I had to subscribe just cause I appreciate the younger generation going back to listen to my era and before hip hop💯 please do Tupac ‘Pain’ from Above the rim soundtrack
That's why he is the best!!!
I remember like it was yesterday, Tupac was 25 and I was 22, this album blew the streets of New Orleans up and this song was like Enriched Uranium. Fellas yall gotta go back and listen to that 3rd verse until yall hear what I heard.
Pac brought out the G in us, like he said ain't a crip or blood but got love for thugs..
I heard this when I was in 5th grade 14 years demon time activated 😂
This takes me back.. the best way to listen to this album is sittin in the car, high as 💩 with it on full blast
Goosebumps
..maaan.. this shit brings me back to rolling in my ‘95 forest green Trans AM with the 20” chromes and 2 12” JBL subs in the truck, rolling around downtown Dallas smokin blunts with my boy Anthony Jones..
I find it hard to believe you've never heard this track??! Its a classic
The song was actually produced by Daz,it was originally his song but he gave it to Pac when he got home
I was in a G ride slapping this all day!!!
2Pac the worldwide GOAT
Picture me rolling is a banger!!
Every Pac song are beautiful🐐🐐🐐
Holla at me is another one crazy
My goat!! Will always be TUPAC
He layed down the double album real quick
Nice song and reaction keep doing better we need more Pac 50 cent ✌️ from Dubai
The GOAT
It’s crazy to me that ppl haven’t heard this song… 😂 damn I’m old. 🎉
U two are so smart.....wow....lol
It took 9 bullets to finally bury aG😢💪
Remember rappers used to make the radio edit for a lot of thier songs so this song was on the radio heavy when it came out. Wayne did rap on this beat twice one song is "Weezy's Ambitions" and the other is "Rider". Camron made a song on this beat also called "Leave Me Alone"
You can hear the heart behind his lyrics! Pac meant that shit! Say it with ya chest! 🤣
Its funny for me to see grown men reacting to this for the first time when i literally grew up on 2pac as a child 😂 wasnt no barney for me straight to pac thanks to my mom
