My Dad reacted to "If I Can't" by 50! Click here www.patreon.com/posts/exclusive-dad-to-76987322 for the exclusive video on Patreon. It really helps the channel! Thanks for watching :)
I'm sure I clicked on this channel first to cringe at an old white listening to some classic hip hop but man are his reactions unique. Among all reactions he might be the furthest from the material but how he allows it to just happen and the music to stand on its own, it's just really cool.
The craziest part about this track is that it’s real life. Everything in it was real so when he said “it’s clear that I’m here for a real reason cuz he got hit like I got hit but he ain’t --- breathing” gives me goosebumps every time. 50’s shooter was killed shortly after 50 was shot.
The "every night i talk to god but he dont say nothing back" line gives me goosebumbs till today. When his album dropped i was 10 years old. He wasnt even a human for me, more like a superhero. 50 Cent did legendary music in his epoche 🔥
Saw 50 cent live 3 times last year. Every time this song started i lost my mind. The whole stadium erupted. Hit after hit for over an hour straight. Best 3 nights of my life. GOAT
Your dad is absolutely the cutest. He's always filled with such pure joy in these videos and you can tell he just loves music even if it's music he's never heard. He's so open-minded. You come from a great family, that's such a blessing. Hope the new year is good to y'all❤️❤️
I really like that he actually LISTENS to his father when he talks not just hears him. I hope they don’t ever lose that bond. Even people from my generation don’t listen to their parents like that especially their father❤️
Okay so I paused this to say THANK YOU! I haven't even played it yet, but I appreciate you for trying to listen to us fans and our reaction requests! ❤
this was so cool seeing your old man reacting so positively, rap brings generations together. iv been a true hip hop / rap head since early 90,s and now my dad (68) my son (17) and myself (44) all listen to artists such as 50 , em, tupac, dmx, j cole , kendrick ect.... musics sooo damn amazing. nice one guys.
Your dad cracked me up when he said “oh shit” as they pulled up on 50. LOL! Edit:love how your dad says at the end of the song/video “this is the ‘toughest shit’.” It most certainly is, because it’s a song about what happened to 50, true story.
Your dad vining to this and actually remembering some of the lyrics from an earlier reaction just made my day! I love music! It is the best way to bring people around the world together no matter what languages we each speak or where we grew up. Music can make you FEEL the energy of what’s being sung about even if you don’t understand the language. You can party together, cry together, get goofy together…love love LOVE music!!!🥰
Still waiting. This was one of my all time favorite songs. Still is. As a teenager getting this album changed me. That’s how impactful it was in ‘03. This is still one of my “ok I’m super drunk what can I listen to from my childhood?” Songs I play. The g-unit album had bangers too and then the Massacre album. it may be the Japanese sake talking but I’m a legit 50 cent fan.
Pops got the lyrics memorized now.. Welcome to the party fellas.. Impressed doesn't begin to describe the feeling I have for Pops ability to consume music without bias.. SALUTE. WHAT UP KAI?
Just have to say, the reason I started watching you guys was because of the “many man reaction video”. It’s one of my absolute favorite songs of all time, one of the songs I have streamed the most. A great song with a great story by a great artist. Love your videos, such a genuine reaction witch is very interesting to watch. Great video as always, keep it up ❤️
I totally understand why your dad was about to cry, because he could truly feel what 50 was saying though his lyrics. That is a story of his true life, thats why there is so much confidence and soul behind that song. One of my all time favs from him.
I would really like to see your dad react to P.I.M.P. from 50 since the beat is not only a masterpice but it also shows many flow variations of 50 we havnt seen yet on this chanel
The way you guys break down the song is special. I never really thought of how simple but prolific “somewhere my heart turned cold” really is. Great channel.
This is such a good reaction. I have to say that the way you present rap music to your father is awesome. My parents would have never listened but I never bothered to explain to them some facts about the artists and their story. I just tried to blast a track and when they heard the beat they were like "lower that rap music down". It's been nice watching your reactions 🙂
I’ve loved watching you & your dad watch the GOAT. The way your dad said Fiddy’s my boy his voice resonates with me in the 21questions reaction I think it was; takes me back to 02 when I said the same. Haha man I hope 50 reaches out to you two. Love the fact your dad can tell a real street dude from an arts student in PAC & tell your dad to get 50’s latest book in will blow his mind how 3dimensional he is… true Mogul
I think this reaction would genuinely bring 50 joy to watch! Music transcends race, age, upbringing and lifestyle. So good. Arguably a top 10 rap song ever.
Shout out to your dad for having an open mind towards hip hop. Would be cool to see him react to «Top of the world» by Ace Hood. A bit different than the other songs he have heard till now :)
It's addicting in reaction videos of any kind, to watch someone who goes into it with a truly open mind, end up really getting invested into things that initially may have seemed way outside their comfort zone. Kudos and thank yous to you two!
I’ve been watching you two all year. Your father son relationship is extremely inspiring and I’ve found myself having emotional reactions to your connection. To watch your dad start out apprehensive yet open and evolve into the person excited and now even rapping along is amazing. I would love to see you dabble a little more into the underground cunninlyguistics’s seasons since he like southern rap. Binary Star~reality check or honest expression, or even like Deltron 3030 or Blackalicious. Either way love what you’re doing and I’ll watch most songs you pick keep it up👍

@frontroom 2Pac - Papaz song, believe me
50 cent fell off in 2007. Between 2003- 2007, he made hit after hit.
You should listem to Hustlers ambition by 50 cent.
You guys should watch his movie and then do a video reviewing it.
@@trentkinison5359 i dont think 50 ever did roids, hes always looked natty. Been boxing since young and just has great genes.
U must listen DEWA 19
Here's me grinning ear to ear watching your dad mouth the lyrics. 😁
YES!!!🙌🙌🙌
Love it!!
Lol real talk.
Maybe not ALL of them 😂😂

I love how he just absorbs the experience, his reactions are priceless. ❤

@@beesmitty3435 exactly was my first thought as well , but it grows on you knowing that it’s coming from pure innocence and simple curiosity 🤍
Props to your pops for not only being open minded to listening but also genuinely getting into it. Hope yall stay enjoying this. Thanks

50 in his prime was a force of nature.
I was 10 also I remembered hearing that album front to back almost everyday
I remember my first time seeing 50 live and it was like a superhero right infront of me. Sounds extreme but that how it felt. Surreal
his voice and inflection on that line are perfect
*God
Saw 50 cent live 3 times last year. Every time this song started i lost my mind. The whole stadium erupted. Hit after hit for over an hour straight. Best 3 nights of my life. GOAT
Hearing pops sing along is priceless! Salute to you guys!!
I think hands down 50 cent is your dad's number 1 artist so far. Good stuff guys.
Your dad is absolutely the cutest. He's always filled with such pure joy in these videos and you can tell he just loves music even if it's music he's never heard. He's so open-minded. You come from a great family, that's such a blessing. Hope the new year is good to y'all❤️❤️
Dads potty mouth is becoming more profound after all this gangsta rap exposure haha i love it!
I really like that he actually LISTENS to his father when he talks not just hears him. I hope they don’t ever lose that bond. Even people from my generation don’t listen to their parents like that especially their father❤️
It is so nice to see a parent and child have such a close relationship.
This era of music can never be replaced🔥
My mom is white and likes the Beatles. Says that this era of music is scum and she likes beautiful music for the spirit.
Who asked ?@@nickb3345
Never
50 cent is definitely one of the realest/most authentic dudes to ever rap, shoutout to your dad for recognizing that lol
This song is based on factual events. That's one reason it resonates the way it does
Facts!🔥
There’s certain bars that can only be uttered when spoken from true experience, and that’s what makes them earth shattering bars.
50 needs to see these reactions theyre so good
Dad's reactions are sooo genuine, and for him to remember the lyrics is impressive. I love the channel
The lyrics , the beats ... so simple yet so powerfull .
Okay so I paused this to say THANK YOU! I haven't even played it yet, but I appreciate you for trying to listen to us fans and our reaction requests! ❤

Ayyyye... Dad is singing along. One of the many reasons I have to watch this channels' videos from start to finish
Pops reacts to Fif the way we did in 03 lol I love it! The authenticity just shines through 50's early work.
