Yea, I bought the Set yesterday , the day after Christmas, and got notified it will be here Tomorrow! Yay! Thanks for Awesome deal too! $174 with Tax & Free 2 day Delivery! happy Holidays
I bought this kit feels okay sounds are also okay could be slightly better to be honest. But I gotta say for the price it definitely is amazing. I wouldn’t say it’s a toy trust me I’ve dealt with toys this is better the design is kind of toyish, but overall not bad for $180 the toms are only 5 inches which makes it incredibly difficult to hit it properly. I’d say most of the time I’m hitting the plastic around the toms more than the toms themselves, so if I had to rate this kit as a beginner kit 0 being trash and 5 being the most amazing beginner kit ever I’d give it 2.5 but if you looking to just mess around this is perfect
I was at a guitar center looking a electric kits. I played the ones they had set up. On my way out I spotted this kit on sale for $200. They didn’t have a floor model to test. I just told the sales rep to write up the sale. I bought it just for practice and to not bother the neighbors. It’s light weight & was easy to set up. It is sturdy and doesn’t move around while playing. Review. The setup is not ideal. The drum pads are small so I’ll frequently miss the pad on a strike while doing a fill. It seems to me that the sound is a fraction of a second behind the strike. The base drum pedal is attached and sturdy but it is much slower than old premier base drum pedal on my acoustic kit. Don’t hit the cymbals too hard. 2 of the three cymbals no longer work. They’re shorted out I guess. Replacements would cost as much as the kit. Too me it was worth the $200 bucks. If you’re serious about recording or using it for actual performance, I’d say no. For practicing without bothering your neighbors…then maybe yes.
Try them first at the store, if you are not tall enough you will not properly reach the drums, the drums are not adjustable, and not very sensitive, you have to hit hard actually.
Radio shack? Did you fly into 2023 driving a Delorian with flux capacitor by any chance? Good luck with your symbols $@#%€*. Maybe you will do better with Cymbals.
I know this is ancient but that's because this won't record audio over midi, it can however be used to control a vst in your DAW. That however can't be audacity, since it doesn't support virtual drums.
Well, I guess this is for the guy who's not really a drummer but wants to have some fun or a little kid who wants to start learning the drums but you don't know if they're going to stick to it. For stuff like that sure. I don't think anyone is planning on touring with this though lol.

Pretty good sound for an inexpensive beginner set
Man all you guys sound like if this would really be your actual drum set to take on tour or something.... Its great for my 7 year old
Are the cymbals chokeable on this little kit?
Shaine Parr nope
I would take it on tour because I'm cult and tacky.

Omg, too many haters! Stop all these childish comments. Just skip vid. You ain't got to watch or buy it. Perfect for some ppl if not you! Pathetic!
Shut up Karen we can have our opinions
Yaaaaaaasss sir
I'm thinking of this for my 5yo son in our condo. Does anyone know if the cymbal pads are chokeable or not? Thanks.
It actually hurts to see, what products are today marketed with the Simmons Logo ....

you can adjust the sensitivity of the drums
Need video on how to fix the symbols. I fixed the toms with piezo from radio shack meant for doorbell.
