I'm in love with Sherman Williams High Reflect White for interior (because lots of shade and color from old windows are blue and green... so a tinted color looks really off. The High Reflect White is pure to handle all the color variations from the windows, floors, etc.

I still love grey. My house was built in 2001 with grey floors and they are still in style! I think grey is a classic. Also, grey does not fight with other colors. I love the new color story for 2021 but I think grey and white are here to stay.

I have used variations of these colors for almost 20 years and in three homes - I never fell for the gray trend - and now I am thrilled to see them back again and looking all fresh. I got sick of trying to find accessories and rugs for my home in the gray trend because they were not out there, now I can shop again! Needless to say, I love these colors because I want my home to feel warm and comfortable, and they are all that. Great video - I enjoyed seeing all the variations of them from the different paint companies. I just love that Aegean Blue combined with the muted yellows and golds - probably my favorite color combination ever.

I prefer cool colors. Always have.
My downstairs is a pale , pale silvery gray (almost white) and I love it.
I read that to pick a paint color - start with colors that you like to wear (and look good in). That made a lot of sense to me.
I get compliments every time I wear pink and I’m thinking about painting my bedroom pale pink.

I’m currently in the process of restoring and updating the Spanish Colonial home my husband grew up in and those colours seemed to be the most sympathetic. We were able to preserve the mint candy glass mosaic tiles and bathroom set in the main bathroom and that teal seems to be a good choice for an accent colour. Happy!!!

Yay for greige! I painted a number of rooms in my house in greige and I still love it. It wasn’t trendy 10 years ago when I chose the colour. However, I’m less about trends and more about what I like!

I hoped you were going to say gray was over!! I’m a neutral taupe lover and that first gray you showed is pretty close to my taste. That teal is delightful. Urbane bronze reminds me of architectural brown. I’m old enough to have had brown/rust and don’t want it again. Thanks for your review.

I understand what you mean but I find that my taste will change a bit over time. The things I loved 10 years ago may not feel as exciting as before and I may have grown tired of some things. While planned obsolescence is a ploy of manufacturers to entice spending on new items, it is what retailers make available in the market place that can move you in a new direction when you can't find an exact match. If you have to replace a fixture or redoing a room because of lifestyle adjustments, it helps to know what manufacturers are producing and stocking shelves with so you can plan wisely. When at all possible, I try to stick to classic finishes on permanent and fixed items and choose more current colors or styles on things that are not costly to replace. After all, I not going to worry about replacing a throw pillow or lamp but will try to avoid installing a "trendy" tile on my kitchen backsplash.

Every decade or so, walls do accumulate enough scuff marks and nail pops to warrant a painting. Mine are long overdue. It’s most economical to paint walls in neutral colors and then use accessories to bring in color. That said, my living room is a deep orangey pink, and I have loved that color for maybe too long. I do love it, though!

Cleaning baseboards (which we keep up with all year so they aren't bad) wiping and painting marks with the paint we always keep on hand. We might also move art and putty and paint those nail holes. But I do think changing colors every so often (even if they're neutral) really helps to keep me motivated to clean and decorate with a fresh perspective.

@@linda8485 Thanks, I like that notion. I still love my orangey-pink walls, a Martha Stewart color called....after a flower, maybe "carnation." And I did set some leftover paint aside. Though I’ve been thinking of changing to its exact opposite on the color wheel...sort of a eucalyptus leaf color. I don’t totally love the pale, pale coral on my bedroom walls...but I painted those walls with my mom’s help, and she’s no longer with us, so....sentimentality prohibits change. I’d SO love to paint the bedroom ceiling....just left it the dingy off-white it was when I bought the place. Ugh.

I have a hard time with this company...not related to their paint quality, but to the way they operated a PPG glass plant in our little midwestern town. My mother was employed their for 17 yrs. They let all their employees go and shut their doors, just to open them up after the right amount of time had passed for them to open up their doors again, to be non-union, get tax breaks, pay very low wages, and insane schedules for their workers. It has left a very sour taste in my mouth. I'll never give them any business willingly.....just thought I'd share....

Beautiful colors! We are having a house built this year that will move into next summer. And I moved away from the grays. I used a really pretty creamy color by Sherwin-Williams, SW9166 - Drift of Mist. It has a little bit of a gray undertone that you can see in the evening light but when you walk in you're first that is creamy white. I've had my last two homes in grays and I was ready for a change.
