Honda motor likes conditioner in the petrol (just a little) I presume to ward off water absorption in the petrol. And be sure not to run the unit with the choke choking, or spark plug will get coated in gunk
Okie Dokie ... i hope i have one of those pump prime thingies ... I got all tired trying to start the damn thing already. Obviously I am not very mechanical. Your small vid which you probably expected no one to watch, has helped so many of us mechanical losers. Yes !!! .. THANK YOU SIR !!!! from Australia!
OK. The FIRST time you start it, it is pretty tough. But at least I could see on your video how to use the choke. I could not see a choke on or off. And the pump bead was pretty well hidden as well! Once I got it started, it is really easy to start again.
i have one and im.new to this so please bear. it starts easily enough, but when i return the choke lever down and rev the engine it immeditaely dies. what am i doing wrong? thank you
Can one of these engine be swapped for the 2stroke, or are they different sizes to the 2stroke? I have an rc car with the 30cc 2stroke grass trimmer engines. I would like to swap for one of these engines. I don't want to buy one, and it does not fit. 😅

Hello - just bought one of these and it hesitates when I mash the throttle. Also it runs rough at full power. Is this something that will get better as the engine has more time on it?
When it’s just started it’s unlikely to be very responsive to aggressive inputs of throttle because it’s cold. Also I would recommend Breaking it in properly because it is an internal combustion engine. So just the usual not using full throttle and changing the amount of gas you give as you use it for the first few tanks of gas in it 40 to 60 percent us usually good.
Also don’t forget to change the oil pretty quick after using it a bit so those microscopic pieces of metal don’t damage anything, if you don’t that engine could become a chronic oil burner.
I have three huge peeves with this trimmer number one grass gets clogged between the head and the bar after one pass in Long Grass constantly cleaning it out. 2. The Handlebar is pokey and jobs in your leg when you're swinging side to side 3. The weight of this thing is at least 5 lb heavier than my 129 RJ Husqvarna Think I'll go back to my Husqvarna
Thanks for the video. I just purchased the GX25 and I’m finding it hard to start. Is it normally that I need to pull several times to get it started if not over 10/20 times? Thank you. New Subscriber.
You buy a CHINEASE brand over a Honda…….? Good luck mate. You will spend more time driving back to the shop to get repairs replacements than you will actually doing your garden.
Yah right one pull, you make it look so easy, Im sweatting my butt off trying to get it started here in the Philippines
Maybe flooded.
yeah me too, really exhausted

New Subscriber.
It usually takes 3-4 pulls to start mine up, 10-20 seems a bit excessive to me. Thank you for watching and for subscribing, I really appreciate it!
@@5MinuteFixit Thank you for your response. I’ll have it checked out. Cheers!

Amazing
It still working in 2024?
Absolutely, still running strong!
It's engine not starting, should I put ignition button on ‘On' position?
Yes the on or run position.
@@5MinuteFixit thanx bruh..it worked ❤️
What type of fuel should I use? 91 or 95
I use 91 octane...
91 should be plenty, it’s not a super high compression engine.
I use premium fuel from Chevron.. for all my equipment.. I use premium for my vehicles.. it's a habit.. better fuel that's all.
Proce
my fingers has blisters.and acheing.just cough cough. l never going buy honda ever..buy chinese brand..
use Aspen fuel
