    Is it just me, but is there a lot of aikijujutsu or just jujutsu involved here? They are well executed too. Very good!

    IMHO, since Aikido derives directly from Jujutsu and since in Aikido training usually the "kicks" part and the ground fighting defence is a bit neglected, it is useful to add that kind of "exotic" techniques to the martial arts knowledge of an aikidoka.

    Aiki_do is not what most prople think. It is not limited to what many have been accustomed. Nor are the techniques shown foreign to Aikido. They are part or it. Nothing is static. Continue.

    In Brasil also there're some aikido's schools like the whole earth. And I don't really think that he is lying because in Iwama - Japan, you can train these techniques but it's really expensive x_X

    Sheesh, there are a lot of people who think that a sport that bans blows to the back, bans a bunch of different holds, deliberately disadvantages smaller fighters, and is overall engineered to make fighters focus on exciting strikes instead of boring grappling is the pinnacle of realistic fighting.
    Also, belittling a martial artist for trying to improve his style by learning from other styles? That's just...dumb. Really dumb. Like, childishly dumb. It just defies common sense.

    I have seen several high-grades like these that take themselves to seriously and ignore any tap the uke does. I think that if the nake obliges the uke tap repeatedly, it is extremely disrespectful. Seriously, WTF. Why would I have to tap 7 times to let you know that you're hurting me?

      For stretching purposes believe it or not. It is a part of the Aikido training. Take care !!

      That is actually quite enlightening. Eitherway, I think that that can end pretty badly, especially when they don't know the uke's limits... Cheers :)

      You need to be very careful indeed. But through the time by know this how it feels is enable you to control the uke's and the attack better by know exactly how it feels :) Take care your self :)

    "If a guy attacks you he probably wants to harm you" Sure? Simply break his elbow if he lets you, you mean and yes you do train aikido to improve your reaction time, but also with people fully resisting you as well !! Thats HOW I know.... Try it sometime you will find it a bit different and then show it on youtube. It will be far more interesting....

    At 2:53 the uke is holding his hand in a position for an kimura. lmao. i know this is an demonstration an all but, what kind of technice could be affectiv it needs "help" from your opponent?

  • @panfilip7719
    @panfilip7719 11 років тому

    Doesn't matter. If guy tries to attack you, he probably wants to harm you. Simply break his elbow in nice overpowered ikkyo. Use your knowledge of techniques to finish him in few moves. BTW you also train aikido to improve your reaction time.

    Traditional Martial Arts Have the good that you can train until your old!MMA from the other Side you will not be able to train after 40 as your body will be destroyed. And the spirit of martial arts isnt about fighting to prove what a strong man you are but to be able to protect your self and your family and friends in a situation.I am against MMA.

      +pedro ernesto maldonado sanchez look up, aikido and juji have the same roots, aikido is the way you never attack or block but accept the attack, juji is the way to put enemy down and then make him suffer. Thoose two martials arts are the same for the grounds techniques. JJB is different, it's a competitiv martial art, with rules, no rules in Aikido and Jujitsu, only react to enemy agressivity.
      Hope this can help you.

    Isn't it weird that not one MMA fighter uses aikido in any form?
    Wait, not it isn't... aikido is for japanophiles and people in denial.
