  • We took our first family camping trip to Stone Mountain. With a one and a half, three, five, and six-year-old we had more fun and challenges that we could've imagined. Here's to the first of many challenges and adventures together as a family.
We left Alabama Friday around 12:30 and got in to Stone Mountain around 6:30. It's absolutely beautiful however was a little noisier than we were expecting. Quiet hours don’t start until 11 PM and some of the other campers were taking full advantage of it, lol. Another camper told us that if you get closer to the RV, it’s actually a lot quieter. We still had a great time though.
We get up early Saturday morning enjoyed the sunrise and breakfast and then headed to Stone Mountain for the walk up trail which is 1 mile straight up stone Mountain. It was an awesome hike and a beautiful day with a lot of great people.
Got back that afternoon and fired up the grill and the kids played with some of the neighbors. It was a beautiful afternoon that we ended with a fire, s’mores, and the sunset.
Finally, we get up early Sunday morning and headed to Chastain Park just outside of Atlanta and ran 2 1/2 miles at their Halfway event. It was a beautiful park and a great event with a lot of great people. We got to enjoy some pickle juice with sucker punch and a nice cold plunge and sauna from all day running company. There were also some local vendors there with massage tables, IV hydration, and some running stores.
We hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
    Here’s to the next adventure!!
