    Something that I wish was reviewed in these videos is service and repairability. Specifically for Jura - they are a massive pain the ass when it comes to repairs because they refuse to sell parts and manuals so if/when something happens, you would need to ship your machine to Middle-Of-Nowhere, PA for repairs, while for some other brands your can drop it off at your local shop (like Seattle Coffee Gear :))

    Hi, what are the main differences between the A9 and the E8? Can you use the app with the A9 and lastly what is better suited to the home. Many thanks.

    Hi Gail,
    First love your channel think I have watched nearly all your vids. I like this machine but have heard horror stories that its horrible to clean and grounds get stuck inside the machine, how does it come apart please?
    Thanks.

    I love your reviews. You helped me big time with the Breville Barista and now this because i too HATE MANUALS! LOL! I just wanted to say that I agree with your con on this machine. Im 5'2 and struggle seeing the LCD screen. Shocked that they did not put it on the front. Also, do I have to buy the hose separately? I cant find the hose for milk.

    Thank you for creating your videos - choosing a super automatic is certainly an investment! I have been researching for months. Question - can a specific drink be programmed into the machine that is not already preprogrammed? Or is the user limited to the preprogrammed beverages?

    other than the screen, how is this machine different from the jura micro 90?

    are the sides aluminium?
    And what about cleaning the frother system - do you have to still used the cleaning fluid or is the automatic rinsing enough?

    Hey Gail! What kind/brand of glass did you use there for the latte macchiato? Very cool!

    I’m having trouble washing the tube. The rinsing the milk doesn’t pull water from the tube.

    • @BorisKarpichev
      @BorisKarpichev 6 років тому

      Rinsing cycle does not rinse the tube - only parts inside the machine. You are supposed to rinse the tube yourself in a sink. However in the milk cleaning cycle the water is pulled through the tube but it requires a special container and a cleaning solution from Jura.

      Did you resolve this?

    • @thefruitpunchstore
      @thefruitpunchstore 13 днів тому

      @ the only way to fix it is to buy another one 😅 or you can change the screen but it’s too expensive…

    • @davianson7106
      @davianson7106 12 днів тому

      @@thefruitpunchstoreI actually resolved it on two different a9s I held my hand over the screen and turned the machine on and I just kept my hand there until the light went out by the cup holder. Picked my hand up and it said it was heating. But it works somehow! I replaced the group gaskets on both of them and one of them had a faulty gear motor. All good now, but it was so frustrating!

    Love your channel! Are there any Coffee machines that you can program all the coffee settings through an iPhone App yet? Seems like an unnecessary but logical next step for this life style. People can then share their brew setups on-line {grind, pre-infustion time, pull time, et al} with other coffee people.

      Wizartar Thanks for watching! Not on any machines we know of yet, but the Acaia scale (www.seattlecoffeegear.com/acaia-interactive-coffee-brewing-scale) has an app that goes with. Pretty sweet!

    Thank you for creating this video! You helped me make my decision and purchase my A9! This may seem like a silly question, but I have to ask. What is being put in your cup when you select "Espresso" and then change the oz from 1oz to 8oz. Is it still providing just one shot of espresso, and then providing 7 oz of water? What about when you select an 8oz coffee? I am pregnant and can only have a 200 mg of caffeine each day, so I am trying to understand how many shots of espresso or how much coffee is in each cup. :) Is the standard setting when you make a latte or a cappuccino to include only one shot of espresso? Thank you in advance! I am new to this type of machine, so please forgive my ignorance. ;)

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  7 років тому

      Hi Amanda! Great question - the amount of coffee being used will be the same whether or not you are pulling 1 oz of water or 8 oz of water through it. So essentially those settings are controlling the flavor strength of your cup. And though the 8 oz may have more caffeine than the 1 oz (essentially a ristretto shot), it is not the same as 8 oz of espresso.

    Which one would you recommend between ENA Micro 9 and IMPRESSA A9 ?

      Amr halem I bought Jura a9 (work) and Jura c60 (home). I now get my daily dose of caffeinated instant gratification both places. Jura a9 produces really hot drink. Bed Bath and Beyond may give you 20% discount for one item if you sign up to receive their email. And Sur La Table does price match.

      Thank you @D Heirloom , How about your C60 ? is there any quality / temperature difference ?

    • @dheirloom3493
      @dheirloom3493 7 років тому +2

      Amr halem Jura c60 the coffee is not as hot actually it is just warm, whereas Jura a9 you get a hot cup of coffee.

      Amr halem Im having a blind coffee tasting/judging top coffee beans on Saturday, 1/21/17, 2pm-3:30pm, in Granite Bay, CA. I will be using both Jura c60 and Jura a9. The coffee tasting event will be on UA-cam shortly after. Just a little fun showing off my new toys.
      Good Luck on your decision!

    ‘Small bean hopper is good because fresh beans are better”. Is the car review equivalent of “small engine with 80hp is good because you get better gas mileage” 😂
