I love how in a game full of dark, disturbing, intense horror music, it ends with upbeat, badass guitar riffs and then this beautiful ambient track as if to say “Hell yeah. I survived.”
As someone else pointed out, the reason this track is FAR different than any other in the game is to remind you, that despite all the "real life counterparts" this game uses, there are still good people out there, people who haven't yet got into a spiral of madness, people who will feel sick even at the thought of doing the things the "real life counterparts" do. And maybe you should feel good to be part of those people.

I got a copyright claim for this being in the background of one of my videos and apparently the copyright claim was for a song called Waste Away by 6FEETDEEP Record, and the beginning of it actually sound like this.
Just listened to it and It sounds like a ripoff/remix of this theme. Kinda rude of them to send out copyright claims, since their song is not totally original. Force to kill men, who thought he was another fun toy to do what monster do best.
