I have been playing this bass since 2007. Awesome sounding and very reliable and not to mention it is a freaking beautiful instrument. Schecter always seems to over deliver. Great to see it getting some love from Jayme in 2022 a full 15 years later.

Yes! The schecter stiletto. Love these basses. I own a schecter stiletto extreme 5-string and it is phenomenal. It’s been my main bass for a long time and it’s also one of my most treasured bass guitars. I’ve always like these basses for it’s smooth curvaceous design and superb versatility. I definitely recommend these basses to anyone.

Yeah man. That bass honks real good! Just a nice amount of sizzle and a ton of oomph down low. Always dig your videos Jayme. Nice work as always.

Been looking for a bass that can do good rock stuff cause I'm just learning rock music, and this is a contender due to its: Price, Sound, the ability to do bass, treble and mid for both pickups, and reliable Schecter longevity.

Oddly enough I have been getting into the Schecter basses lately :) I am impressed with some of them, I am on my 3rd one. I picked up the Diamond J-plus this is very hard to find. I just got the Diamond P-Plus on Thursday which is also hard to find. I had recently picked up the CV5 because I couldn't find the Diamond P-Plus. I love the tones you can get out of this bass but not to happy on how the pick ups are installed but not anything I can't deal with. there are a few other Schecter basses on my list. And trust me I have a ton of basses from Alembic, Fender, Music Man etc. And the Diamond plus J & P basses I put right up there with them. Sadly they discontinued them. But I must say about Schecter basses is you get a good bang for your buck for the price! They have some amazing basses in their line up.

Great video Jayme, i'd love to see a comparison between this bass and a ibanez in the same range (like the sr505 or ehb1005ms)

These sound nice. I don't get why people shit on the HZs. They are more subdued than other EMG but they sound pretty good and clear here.

Here's a question for anyone else who owns this bass from a somewhat newbie to bass. Right now I play this through a Fender Rumble which has a basic EQ already. Does it make sense to invest in a pedal like the Phil Jones Bass PE 5? Right now I just play at home but a more varied tone is always a plus. Maybe I just answered my own question. Ha.

Bit flat/dull overall, but i mean... it's budget... I got a budget peavey cirrus thinking it would compare to the pemium versions, and boy was i wrong,it's like Rockbass tops the "budget" basses, and they're hardly budget, or pro instruments. At the end of the day, it's a matter ofjust wanting to play for fun, and absolutely nothing wrong with that, or wanting some next level intrument(s), that will nuke your balance, but hey... If it really is what you want, or you just can, then phenomenal, im speaking more to the average bassplayer, who doesnt have an endless budget, or the absolute certainty that they´ll have a career in music.
