- This is from our new "Vintage Series" which are shorts made long ago for personal friend and family use. I'm now adding then to You Tube just for fun. I guess at the very least you'll see I'm not only a raven lover, I am totally fascinated by all animals and am especially observant and fascinated both the animals behavior and their behavior with people and/or their trainers.
This one one of Sea World's last Orca shows called "Believe". Also included are some of the dolphin and pilot whale shows, some of the marine exhibits and "Dinner with Shamu" where "Shamu" decides to add an extra touch to the show by soaking us. No matter where you stand on this issue, they did do quite an incredible show with these magnificent animals.
How fun, but I don’t think I’d want front row seats.🌊🌊🐬
They want you beforehand that the first three rows of seats can get wet. I took my chances & was only slightly splashed.

if we love animals, we do not lock them in cages. People should boycott this kind of stupid show. Zoos, circuses, Zealand should not exist. Would it come to people's idea to lock up their children in cages? (Sorry for my bad english)

I agree with you but there's far more to the story. It's a very controversial topic, and like anything else in this "political and ecological" climate it can be a very toxic subject. I prefer not to judge, but to watch and in time trust the right decisions will eventually be made.
As an amateur animal behavioralist I'm more interested in the animal handler relationships. These people got to relate to these animals in a way most of us will never understand.

@@andreasosa1352 I think most will agree He's right. Many agreed with his opinion and the shows eventually got boycotted. I set up theravendiaries to demonstrate many animals, especially the ravens I work with, dogs and others need relationships and some sort of companionship they can count on. (Still today many legally licensed rehabbers will not have any kind of contact with the birds while they are attempting to get them back in the wild. I'd call this cruel, and yet it is the law you agree to follow when you become a licensed rehabber!) But understand this relationship stuff is "new thinking" and the scientific community is the last to embrace it. So in the mindset of the day, Seaworld and others like them were just dealing with dumb animals so they didn't equate it to putting their kids in cages. We are moving forward, just remember at the turn of the last century (1800 to 1900's), we did lock PEOPLE in cages. (Try people in cages at world's fair search.)

I don’t understand how anyone that does animal work for the good of animals goes to Sea World??? Are we going to ignore all the animal cruelty and animal slavery that goes on here and has been for many years???!!! I just unsubscribed and I want nothing to do with this channel anymore... how heartbreaking is this???!

Andrea Sosa ?... I’m not attacking or insulting you in any way. And yet you perceive my statement as an attack, you are too defensive, and it is not healthy. You really should realize that all opinions have value. I respect you and your thoughts as a fellow human and I simply expect you to return the favor. You shouldn’t get mad when someone makes a statement you don’t like. Accepting that you can be wrong is the first step to being a better human. Ignoring things you disagree with isn’t healthy either, you should consider all views on a topic when you form your own conclusions.
