I never realized how big the Engine and gearbox is in the Espada. It looks like sonething out of a chieftain tank. We are so used to seeing this engine transverse in the Muira with the gearbox beneath.

Loving the Citroen CX in the background. It's funny, I think it says something when you see a mint old Citroen in a garage full of vintage Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Bentleys. The level of care (and bills) to keep it mint must be in the same ballpark!
@Complex of Sorcery War New money drives new cars. The nouveau riche have no interest in old cars. The come to cars and coffee with their new Ferrari 488s two times and we never see them again. They're not car people. Oh, I think converting a Porsche 914 to electric would be way cool.
Looks like it's in very good hands indeed, I must say that man has the patience of a saint. Never going to be nice taking an engine out of such a nice classic, but having the client filming you and trying to help must be hard to manage. You'd think it'll be good for his business to be in one of your videos but he doesn't look like he needs much more work, must be good at what he does.
Very few people would have the knowledge and know how of Iain Tyrell!! Beautiful car, with a good owner who looks after his cars ( not all of us can afford to do that especially with such nice cars )

I confess I find Espada very funny from outside, but I must admit it's pretty cool from inside. I'm glad that part two has just arrived! Off to watch it right away.

I have seen a few of Harry's videos, and then followed over to Tyrell's, and have enjoyed both channels immensely. Very happy to see you both on screen in this one. You two have the pleasant ability to come across so straightforward, with no phoniness. I have a small collection of (non-exotic) collector cars and have been wrenching since 16. Unfortunately, most of the car channels on youtube are trash. Especially anything that is supposed to be a "show", with phony reality aspects and fictionalized activities. And a plethora of videos by people who have no idea of that they are talking about. There's one I won't mention by name, but he had a Ferrari 360 Modena video, and every other statement he made was wrong. The best was when he said that "all of these 360s" must be hooked up to a battery tender overnight, otherwise they will always drain the battery". Insanity. However, there has not been a Tyrell or Harry video where I have not learned something. On a personal note, in the early 70s, my dad stopped off at LeMans Motors in Denver, CO. Inside they had a Ferrari Daytona, a green Lamborghini Jarama, and a silver Espada. My dad fell in love with the Espada. But he was a Cadillac man through and through. The salesman was very nice and cracked open the Espada door for me and let me get about 1/2 my body in there, but I got the idea, even at 12, that he really didn't want me to go further and I didn't want to either. Just smelling the inside of that car was enough. Flash forward to 2017 and I was at the Best of France and Italy car show in California, and there were two Espadas there. One was a silver one. I told the guy that owned the silver one my story and he said "Well we'll have to fix that!" and invited me to get into his car. "Take all the time you want, get the feel for it". What a nice guy. Then he insisted that my young son try it out too. He told me to look him up sometime at home and he would take me for a ride in it. So of course, now I am hooked and I definitely would like one someday! Thanks again for the channel and the consistent quality of content.
